stunning. you are so lucky!
Thanks.
its a treat to watch. you are so lucky to have them in your area. we don't get these in Melbourne region.
Your bird bath's are certainly safe haven for all birds, it's wonderful them frolicking in the water.😊
Yes Bill they do seem to subscribe.
Wonderful video 👍❤️
Thanks.
Pekné video...
Beautiful video ❤👍
Thanks.
That is one of your best. Love the closeups. If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck it err mmmight be a ddduck duckie
Thanks Geoff. It is amazing what you can do with a rubber duck.
Such table manners many people could learn from the Lorikeet, great filming
Thanks Bill and yes humans could learn a lot from wildlife.
They really are beautiful birds. Full of personality. There are quite a few places where wild birds will land on your head or table and share your picnic. I have thoughts that they have actually reached Tasmania, we do have galahs but not cockies yet. Geoff
Give it time Geoff, with the mass destruction of habitat anything could happen!
こんにちは。素晴らしいです。あなたのビデオはとても美しいです😊
Wow! Beautiful birds
Yes they are indeed. They visit our garden regularly. They are members of the Kingfisher clan.
Beautiful visitors in your garden
Thanks and yes we are blessed.
Tony certainly likes his new rain wear to be walking with such a swagger.
Yeah Bill even at full speed he has that walk.
Tony the trend "setter"corgi
The choice of royalty Geoff !
Must have been expensive.
Yes all hand made.
This is pointless. What are they called?
Birds.
Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant Hapus. St David would never hav seen that magpie-lark
Perhaps a trip into Specsavers may have remedied that Bill.
Your photography is incredible and so inspiring.
Thanks bill but the subject matter should get all the praise.
I don't believe a word he said. He was playing dumb for the camera. We know he dug the hole in the garden to bury a bone. There were no witnesses or cctv I think a jury would aquit.. He deserves home detention
He is so transparent I agree Geoff...no lol - lols tonight!
My babies!🦘
Wow nice capture
Thanks.
Wow relly nice
Thanks.
Aahhh that better now for some treats. It's a good life😊
Yes he is easily tempted/tamed with a little bit of cheese Geoff.
David you have some fascinating visitor to your garden. This one is beautiful. I hope he doesn't give you curry like the wasp did.
We are lucky Geoff with the menu of creatures around our place and curry is off for the moment due to supply issues.
Incredible photography, I can only imagine the Kookaburra was softening up the Dragon Lizard's muscles before swallowing and having its after lunch bath.
I think it was making sure it was dead Bill. That is a very young Dragon and I guess it's bones would be softish. The Kookaburras do down all sorts of stuff including snakes and birds.
Nice work david
Be careful that sting will be very painful
🐝🙏🙏🙏🐝🙏🐝
Incredible photography had to watch several times.
Thanks Bill. Not coming back as an Earth Worm Bill!
Tony illustrates what contentment really looks like
He is an adorable companion and I am sure he knows he has won Doglotto first div.
You've got to love the ears. Well done David.
Thanks Geoff and yes the ears have it.
Wow,. He really is a big healthy looking boy. Love way his ears rotate like a radar. The habit of licking their paws can be a sign of stress. I was attacked by large female grey when I was the ranger at hanging Rock. I was trying remove a group of stupid tourist who were crowding it when it turned on me. No damage done but it went for the jewels a few times.
Guess you did not see anything of those missing girls when at Hanging Rock Geoff?
Beautiful camera work, so many pleasing views, especially liked the view showing the reflection of the tree in the pool in land, the unusual views of the aeroplane propellers frozen, that is some camera you have. 🎥
Thanks Bill. The reflection shot (taken just after cyclone Oswald) was on Chambers Island in the middle of the Maroochy River. It and many of the shots including planes were taken with my Olympus OMD and some with my Lumix and others with the Sony.
Great slomos of lovely solid healthy chunky birds
Thanks Geoff, no time for skinny dolly birds here!
So much beauty is welcome and really appreciated when you capture it in your camera.
Thanks Bill.
He looks clean an fine. Why isn't he running in crazy circle around the yard rubbing in fresh chicken shit like Molly and Carrie.
You are looking for the directors cut I think Geoff. This is a family show!
I thinks he is proud of himself for choosing you and Diane as his family
He seems to be enjoying his new life Geoff and is stuck like glue to Diane. All round great little companion and great watch dog.
As the Turkey feasts on your Toogoom Australian garden, Canadians are feasting on Turkey's for Thanks Giving "9th October" great movie.
How gruesome.
Loved the elegance and symmetry of the ibis.
🏃Not the kind of chap you want hanging around for any length of time, perhaps you might call me a "NIMBY" not in my back yard!
Best left to the long lens Bill!
He's an intimidating dude. That long lense does a nice job. Is there a mob nearby or is he really missing out .he looks strong and fit enough but maybe he's old.
Not sure if he is a dude (did not see a horse anywhere or cowboy hat) but best to keep clear as they are very powerful. The mob is in another part of our area. You may be right Geoff, perhaps he has been usurped and that may also account for the lack of a horse/hat.
God, I want to have a garden with this beautiful colorful birds! Which state do you live?
Read the description for location details.
After a weekend of storms this photography is so relaxing and well presented.
Many thanks! Hope the weather did not effect you too much.
A majestic intriguing bird.looking into it's eye is almost scary. Well done David. My wildlife cam is in the mail
Thanks Geoff...nothing will be safe in your garden now! Look forward to seeing some footage.
You never fail to produce superb photography, it's as if you charm the birds to pose.
Thanks Bill.
Well done David. I love my planes as much as my birds. Planes are faster but birds are frustratingly un predictable
Thanks Geoff, same sentiment from me.
Nice telework. They are very amusing characters, nearly as crazy as Keas
Thanks Geoff. Keas have an excuse though.
Nice work david.sharing a bath can be a lot of fun,,,,,,,,
You got that right! Thanks Geoff.
Looked like he might stay, like tony
I hope not, as the thought of a pointy beak jabbing me at 4.30 am as well as Tony bedside demanding tickles, is a bit overwhelming.
That is a very pleasant coucal. What a beautiful bird
They are beauties but very camera shy Geoff.
