American education nationally is really substandard or average at best . Ghanaian high school is extremely intense. Trust me if you can complete highschool in Ghana any college in America would not be much of a challenge.

I think we as humans would have had a more natural evolution (into technology). Early civilizations of the America's (i.e., Aztecs, Mayans, and Incas) had similar advancements to early civilizations of Africa and Eurasia. I don't think we'll be at smart phone advancements right now, but I think if we (humans) stayed our natural course of conscious evolution we'd not have to worry about the planet we're on dying so fast. The early civilizations had sciences that colonizers thought to be "dark magic" and "savagery" (like how the Karuk and Yurok tribes took care of the wild fires of the western coasts). My statement is founded only as a hypothesis at the moment (currently trying to work on too many thoughts at once). Yes, there were many advancing civilizations in Northern Europe, like the Celtic/Gaelics, Germanics, etc. but the crusades and colonization pushed us to advance too early for our own good, humans, and other lives on the planet.

Early humanity started in the "cradle of civilization" region, and spread throughout the planet, sometimes across land bridges that no longer exist, yet we have not all progressed, technologically, at the same speeds. Some tribes arguably progressed not at all past the hunter-gatherer stage, building homes out of sticks and mud, clothes out of animal hides, and weapons made from sticks and rocks. Elsewhere, over the same span of time, cultures created advanced agriculture, woven cloth, metallurgy, gunpowder, ships that can sale the ocean, etc. I'd like to suggest to you that the strongest reason for the difference is climate. In a jungle with abundant food and warm weather all year round, there's very little incentive to fix what isn't broken. You don't need to invent warm winter boots, solid brick houses, or heavily optimize all your food production in the summer season if you live in a place where it never snows. Similarly the more desperate competition for fewer resources pushed war-related technology forward Down in the jungle a fence of sharp sticks is enough to keep the wolves out, so you don't need to learn how to build a wall that will stop a canon barrage.

@@hinoron6528Africa is held back in major ways, as well as South America, by infighting. Borders create taxes that make it very difficult and expensive to transport goods, money and information. Africa should unionize. IMO also I just spoke with a man at the bar tonight, from Ghana, that agreed with me.
