General Sherman to Sherman Pass

On this trip I ride through Porterville with a stop at my grandma's old house. Ride to Sequoia National Park via the 245 to Hwy 180. Disperse camp, before visiting General Sherman Tree. Then ride south to head east over Sherman Pass and camp for another night. All meals cooked on my firebox and using my 1 gallon water Rotopax for all meals and clean up.

Hey @MarchingOn, I saw the garage door button on your handlebars, do you have any details on where you got that and what you have setup for it?
It's called the GEEZER GLIDE DUAL GARAGE DOOR OPENER. Check compatibility limitations as it does not support MyQ garage door openers, which is what I have, but a simple workaround exists for installing an auxiliary receiver that does communicate with the unit then sends an "open/close" signal to function properly. Wire harnesses are sold separately. I control a community gate and my garage door.

How did you mount that duel beam light pod ?
If I’m remembering correctly, there’s an existing hole, but it is not threaded, so I threaded it and bolted it secure with mounting bracket from Moons.
Do you remember which bracket it is ? Or did you just use the one that came on the light ?

What size mephis shades you got?
Its the 11 inch. I think 13 would look better with the gauge relocation. I'm thinking about changing sometime in the future.

Karin R This was about 1/8 mile past Johnston Lake on the trail to Shadow Lake. Which I believe is part of the JMT.
