Visiting the Pet-friendly Intercontinental Khao Yai Resort | อินเตอร์คอนติเนนตัล เขาใหญ่ รีสอร์ต 🐶
Last weekend we escaped the flooded sois of Sukhumvit to go check out the new pet-friendly Intercontinental Khao Yai Resort in Nakhon Ratchasima.
This train-themed resort has some amazing rooms and a stunning botanical garden. Most importantly, dogs are also allowed so we brought ours along for the trip.
We all had an excellent time here. The staff, food, and service were great; and the verdant garden settings provided a much-needed change of scenery from the concrete jungle that is Bangkok.
Highly recommend this place. 👍🏽🐶

A few highlights from our latest journey to Nongbon (บึงหนองบอน), a dog-friendly park in Bangkok. Our dog came along for a bike ride in her dog backpack designed for traveling and cycling. Strolling the grounds with Skruffi at this dog-friendly mall in the Udomsuk/Punnawithi area of Bangkok. There’s some green space outside for dogs to exercise and play. Dogs can also accompany their owners at several of the restaurants that have outdoor seating. Dogs can enter the indoor section of the mall, but must be contained in a dog stroller the mall provides.

Taking our pleasant weekly dog stroll at บึงหนองบอน. In our opinion, it’s the best dog run in Bkk with plenty of room to exercise our four-legged friends and socialize with other dogs. Also great for biking and jogging

Mega Bangna is a large shopping mall that also combines interactive entertainment. It’s a great place for pets and children, and dogs under 10 kg can travel throughout the mall and some restaurants using strollers that can be borrowed at the building entrances. Could you recommend pet friendly places to visit in khao yai?
Outside of this resort, I can't personally recommend any places in Khao Yai that I've visited with my dog. I do know there are supposed to be some good campgrounds there though. Just have to be careful about interactions between our pets and the local wildlife. 🙂
So well explained with minute details about nodes to be borne in mind. The potting material ratio too would be a great help. Will now implement these tips and plant pothos with gusto . Thanks 😊

Did you have to register the dog prior to arrival and did you see any parking?
Yes, you do have to register before entering the park by scanning a QR code at the entrance and uploading documents proving your dog has been vaccinated against rabies. There is parking available directly near the entrance of the park, too.

What fertilizer u use??
Usually either some organic compost sprinkled on top every couple months, or a balanced, slow-release fertilizer like 10-10-10 or 13-13-13.
