Get Rid of Chronic Plantar Fasciitis once and for all!
At Movement Minded, when we think of plantar fasciitis, we’re not just thinking inflammation of the plantar fascia. We’re looking at a body that is having difficulty distributing force from the right to the left side. Studies have also shown that chronic plantar fasciitis is not an inflammation of the plantar aponeurosis but inadequate blood supply causing an inability in healthy healing. Stretching the plantar fascia may actually be detrimental to heeling in some cases.
In this video Dr. Lev talks about 2 exercises that you can use to get your feet, knees, hips and low back moving better. He also shows our taping technique for Plantar fasciitis that allows it ample time to heal so you can get back on your feet in no time!

    • @movementminded
      @movementminded 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The problem I commonly see with this is that the vertical and landscape monitors are lined up on the bottom edge of the monitors. But the work space in the monitor (application) is usually not lined up. So if you use the Vertical monitor for something specific, I would line up the actual work space ( apps within the monitors) with the landscape monitor. That should help it feel more natural.

    My Amazon review... Chair arrived today, but is ***missing headrest***. I have reached out to the seller and am awaiting a resolution. My chair was more difficult to assemble than it should have been. The casters didn't want to snap into the base without A LOT of unnecessary force. The back was VERY difficult to slide onto the seat. If you do not possess a lot of upper body strength, you will probably need to get some help for this part of the assembly. TIP: slide the seat out away from the back to make it easier to tighten the bolts. UNFORTUNATELY... I can't keep this chair. After several hours of use, I was in so much pain from the seat and armrests that I had to revert to my old chair. The armrest are barely padded at all. The seat... I can't tell if it's just too small for me or if it has to do with the padding itself. It definitely bottoms out, but so does my current chair. Not sure the exact reason, but a chair shouldn't cause pain. Overall impressions: It is a nice looking chair. Unlike most budget (or even more expensive) office chairs, there is no excessive play in any of the components. There is a good range of adjustment (though I would appreciate a little more range in the lumbar adjustment). Unfortunately, this chair is definitely designed for the AVERAGE person. I am 6'2 240 and the seat cushion is a bit narrow and shallow for my taste. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the headrest because it is MIA. Summary: For the average person, I feel this is a very good ergonomic chair with good adjustability and good quality, especially for the price. Can't say so much for the comfort though.

    • @movementminded
      @movementminded 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the review! I am 5'6" and the chair fit me well but I am glad youre leaving this review for anyone who is 6'2" and above. I didnt have any issues assembling my chair together also, but some people have been mentioning that its doesnt smoothly fit. I like the chair for the flexibility it offers for the price. Thanks again for your comments, Let me know what chair you ended up using. I am sure it will be very helpful to people who are taller.

    • @Tephnos
      @Tephnos 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@movementminded Bit of a side question, but at 5'5/5'6 (same as me), how high would you have your desk? Trying to dial in a proper height for it before I go with a wallmounted desk, so I only get one shot at doing it right. Think I have it at 66cm at the moment but feel it could go even lower. Of course, then you have to factor in that the chair armrests need to go low enough that you can fit it under your 'my first desk', so it's a good thing this one goes as low as ~60cm.

    • @movementminded
      @movementminded 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Tephnos Great question, unfortunately there is no clear cut answer because it depends on the rest of your set up. Writing is different than typing with ergonomics. You want your keyboard to be 1-2 inches under your desk if youre going to write on it also. A lot of it also depends on your elbow height. Ideally you would have 90-110 degrees of elbow flexion so you can use the keyboard without shrugging your shoulders.
