Thank you for your work ps: Majora's Mask will ALWAYS be my favorite game from which I drew inspiration. I first played it in 2000s when I was 6 years old together with my older brother.

Haven't finished the video so apologies if this is a retread(I'm the kinda guy where I'd forget if I didn't write it down now), but another part is archiving. It has happened to me TOO MANY TIMES that an artist just doesn't want to be on the internet and their online discography vanishes since they stopped paying for a subscription or what not. One of the fanbases I'm in still haven't finished archiving all of their songs because they weren't properly archived in other ways, we all just relied on streaming.

It would be nice if we could hear the alternate tracks before changing anything.

I don’t remember having any first-hand experience with my favorite songs becoming removed from streaming, but I’ve still had concerns and/so I’m glad I’m not the only one to notice “the Death of Ownership”, as you called it, JoeFilms; and I have experienced some of my favorite shows having been removed from streaming and having to dig for other official publications. Maybe people can find solutions together. People will have to realize that this can’t always work and invent a new way to publish and listen to music after a while.

one of my favorite albums from like 10 years ago got taken down at some point but I still put the songs in new playlists (cuz hope 🥲) until like a month ago they were just available again. I immediately bought the album so they can't take it away from me again.

14:20 so kinda what Qobuz offers. The main issue I have with streaming services other than one of the major ones is that once you want to share a song with a friend, they're likely not able to just listen to it because they don't have a subscription for that service or their app or some other stupid requirements. Even Spotify suffers from this issue when I send a track to a friend who doesn't use Spotify. TH-cam and YT Music are better in that regard since you can just listen to the songs no matter if you have a subscription or even their app or whatever, but the underlying issue the video is about obviously still applies there (if you don't use YT downloaders, but we all know about the YT downloader quality™)

These are one of the worst news I have ever hear as a music lover that feels like without it he would die... thank god I save all of the music I love as FLAC files for the future, you should do that too! if you have the disk space and never want to lose the music you love you should make a backup somewhere!

Every day physical media becomes just a little more tempting and a little less accessible, but at least we have Mr. Filmography to keep us company as we descend into hell together

It always hurts when I open spotify one day to listen to the same music I always do and then... it's just gone. Like, a few weeks ago, Persona 3 Portable's soundtrack just completely disappeared for seemingly no reason. It wasn't a huge soundtrack or anything, just a handful of original songs for the PSP version, but still, they were some of my favorites from the entirety of Persona 3, so it sucks. Thank you for shedding some light on the topic, Mr. Filmography. It was a good video!

AMAZING All the versions of Termina Field are so exceptional, I listen to them over and over without stopping, it's so good!!!! I hope you find a way to include them in the game all together, you should ask for help from a modding community it would make your work even better than it already is. I would dream of seeing that!!!!!

This. This is *everything* I could ever ask for in a Majora's Mask remake soundtrack. Every track perfectly captures the feel of the original while adding that modern-gaming orchestral sound. Plus, there are additions. I love how each boss/healed area has a personalized variation. I love the BEN reference. I loved Molduga. I loved Fierce Deity, and all the other original tracks. It really does feel like the soundtrack to a fleshed out remake of Majora with added content, and I love it. Never thought anything would top Theophany's Time's End albums for me, but here we are. This is my new favorite Majora's Mask album, easily! Speaking of Theophany, loved the use of Healing Termina in the Ikana segment (if I'm not mistaken, gonna have to listen again).
