Native American arrowheads, artifacts, tools and other adventures we encounter along the way :)
Greg: The 'Old Man' (a 1952 classic) of our team but hands over the reigns of expertise to Dave. Grew up in Cuyahoga County Ohio and was always interested in rocks, fossils, and arrowheads. Never had the opportunity to hunt for Indian Artifacts until I moved out to Medina County. Ever since I found my first scraper on March 12th, 2012 I was hooked on hunting for Native American Artifacts. Met Dave on Facebook back in 2017 and we became good friends right off the bat. These are some of the videos we took along the way.
Hope you enjoy our channel :)

Great hunt in a new field!
Got into a new field in Wayne County Ohio. Wasn't quite sure what I would find, but was just happy to have boots on the ground. Not only did the weather co-operate, but I had some nice finds. Happy hunting to you all. @dgartifactadventures

Thanks for sharing, its pretty cool actually seeing the find. I always wanted to do that but I dont have a single one. Big regret there on my end! My fields are all no plow, for about 6 years now.
Thanks Mark! Hate no plow fields😡
I would very much like to attend one of these events. Here in Mexico they are not done. You always see incredible pieces here, graphics for taking me there friend. BLESSINGS ON YOUR WAY.
That was a great catch my friend. Surely it was a large reserve of preform material that was there for when they needed to make something more complex. WITHOUT A DOUBT IT WAS THE RESERVE BANK. congratulations my friend. NEW FRIEND.
Good job, keep at it!
Where did you steal them from 😅😅
Crushing your goal…not surprised…let’s hope Trump crushes Harris in the same fashion!
@@barndog9385 on my 72 nd BD, Nov 5th. That would be a great present! Greg
I'm glad you found that pink point. Man, I would love to find one that color.
Thats cool, were on the same page… I have all kinds of flint and rock everywhere! People freak with the pieces I have in the garden. Nice points, scrapers, etc… looks great!
@@MarkPreman thanks Mark👍
@@dgartifactadventures looks nice and tight, gave me some good ideas!
They might of not liked that, you're a pale face.
I love this! I have a little succulent garden that I put my flint and other cool rocks in!!
That’s one heck of a place. I was there this summer, such a hidden gem!

What a stellar day that had to be., especially being able to dig it with your dad. Thanks for sharing guys!
Pretty in pink.. nice finds..
Its a great start on a new field.
Nice finds Greg, shows real promise for a new spot to hunt. I'm in central Indiana so the flintridge material looks mighty pretty to see in situ!
@@davidbybee9453 I did such a crummy job filming me picking it up. Hard to do one handed with old hands.
Awesome flntridge material on that one.great find my friend.
@@terrencebelcher2514 thank you!
Awesome fellas! Thanks for sharing….I live in Wayne Co, Ohio… we’ve found countless arrowheads in our farm fields over the years… got them all up on a wood wall… we just built a new house at another farm and I was finding them during that build also There was definitely a heavy population around here
@@PupsPistols yes, Wayne Co is gold. I just got home a couple of hours ago from a new field in Wayne Co. Video coming shortly. Greg
@@dgartifactadventures Exciting, looking forward to watching it! 😎👍 Just subscribed
@@PupsPistols thanks for the sub👍
Super cool ❤
2:56 That one is very nice
@@FacesintheStone thanks!
Common on man, you should know the year, the tribe, the family, the maker and what the tool or point was used for. You should know all of these Pre Historical things. 😊 Beautiful finds and video. Best of luck, Take care, see you on the next one.
Hope you guys know I was kidding with that comment.
yes :)@@C.M.R.Artifacts-qu1ey
That fluted piece has been reused .has burin flake I think . So it's not just broken it's been reused .
What the heck can those tiny points be used for......so confounding!!!!!
@@closertohome-b7m those are actually the size of points used on arrows. Greg
@@dgartifactadventures But many are so small......the arrow overwhelms the point . and of course the term Bird point has been attributed to these...but.....so little meat on birds. Oh well. Thanks for your thoughts. James
Very cool...it is a dovetail. You areas lucky to hunt and find flint......enjoy lunch. James

my work on creating a time machine is almost complete. i should be able to provide not only the year they were made, but the month and day. i can also ask them what their tribe name is, so we can all go on with our day.

Nice find buddy.
Ive walked the same 30 acre field above a creek and mound for 25 years. They keep poping up every year.👍🤩
If you’re in Ohio, get in touch with Gabriel Griffin. This guy has faces and birds on all of the rocks. To think that the ancient people somehow survived by just creating weapons, and didn’t try to create cultural artifacts to remember where they came from or to project where they were going Is a manifest destiny kind of way of thinking. It’s important to remember that North America was completely inhabited by other people before we got here and killed everybody with the survivors going into the prisons that we call reservations. We completely decimated the population, and then took it over and then act like there was nobody ever here before us.. until we go looking for arrowheads… but I want to let you know that that’s only step one. Step two is to understand that these people were not so different than you and I and they cared about their children, their wives, their husbands, just the same as we do. There is a narrative driven that it’s OK that we are here and that we put all these other people in prisons. They were lessers, right? In my opinion, the people who is so in tune with nature that they could go out and pick their medicines, and track the animals, and create all the canals, you call them creeks.. canals are human made. Why do you think every single one of them is named after a Native American tribe? It’s right in front of us with all of our road names, county names, river names but still, the United States citizen has a hard time understanding that there were tons of people here before them. ❤ Just speaking from my side of the fence here
We're blessed to be in the ohio Valley
@@Maddog70 agreed👍
You are pronouncing gorget incorrectly......sorry
Pretty cool, sure would like to find one of those!
For me, it started at the arrowheads, the weapons, and then I started to see that there were a lot more than just warriors.. just like our population today, there were artists Who created faces and birds on stone and every single one of these people could make this style of art. It was not just for the few. It’s for everybody. Disclaimer is there are faces on the weapons, but you really don’t wanna look at them if you know how to see the art Unless you’re about to go into battle because it produces about 3 mm of sweat all over your body
It’s kind of cool, but I’d really don’t agree with selling or buying this kind of stuff. These people were so close to nature, that some of their artifacts are hard to distinguish from natural stones. What we find is that there is a complicated multi faceted style of art that exist within the stones and is worldwide. The implications that could have on us with our understanding of human evolution.. To me, there is no other subject, more important than understanding exactly how we became who we became.
Nice 👍
Thank you very much ! I am a stonetoolcollector too. Here in North Germany! But I must say this tools you showed are not to compare! And the rest too!
