That's awesome glad I could show you some stuff. If your sport you are training for requires more agility you might want to throw in some other exercises focusing on acceleration because these are mostly for straight line speed

Great video! I noticed you were lifting your heel a bit when squatting. Try putting a small plate (think 0.5 kg or the smallest plate in the gym) under your heel when doing it to elevate it. Weightlifting shoes already have elevated heels and putting a plate under your heel gives the same effect. It can help with stability and allows you to hit your muscles better. It most likely happens due to a lack of forward ankle mobility, you can also start doing ankle mobility work to fix it though this will take time. Stay consistent!

Yo I have been hitting the gym for about a year now and sticking to a lot of machine stuff. I was a little scared to be deadlifting and squatting cause I didnt't want to injure myself. Are those excercises worth incorporating? I see everyone doing them and I've been thinking I might give them a shot.
Absolutely. They can be a great exercise for building muscle and especially strength. These exercises have a few advantages, the biggest advantage, I would say is that they hit stabilizing muscles much better than machines usually do. However you should begin with learning the technique. Start with a really light weight just to get used to the movement think 20-25 reps. Then increase slowly to heavier weights where you could do about 10-15. Once you get used to that and feel comfortable you can increase the weight. The risk of injury is small unless you do it wrong, so don’t do it wrong.
I agree I think they are worth trying just work yourself up to some of the higher weights if you are scared to build confidence and make sure you have a spotter if you are going to test your limits
