I did on my mba m3 and it didnt work. But how to undo it ? And how to check if it changed or not ?
You can try to turn off by using : sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00, This is only Intel Chips, not for M Chips.
You can put that adjustment in you control center in settings then you don’t even have to go into settings after that

Does it work on the new MacBooks (2020 and later) M1, 2 or 3 whether they are air or pro with Silicon chip?
This is only for Intel chips, it will not work on Silicon Machines.
yep i can confirm it doesnt work on my mac air probably because of the chip. Its so annoying...theres also something happening probably with the lid of the mac and it keeps booting while the lid is closed and its on my backpack ... ending up draining the whole battery overnight and i have to charge it when i need to use it. it sucks
You can go to service if there might be any hardware issues.
@@TechGuy9018 its kinda old so i dont think its worth spending money on it plus i dont have a reliable mac service near me.. so if that command worked it would be a nice work around

Helpful video! Any recommendations on which replacement logic board to purchase? (My 2012 or 2013 MacBook Pro i7 is non-responsive. No lights or fan sounds. The logic board has some white oxidation, which was removed with a touch of alcohol and compressed air). Is the problem likely only the logic board?
You can purhcase from shop where they sell the motherboards. Also you should not clean with liquid like alcohol or any liquid material. You can use IPA cleaner to clean the Motherboard.

It will not work on 2011 machines.

@@ronaldsab1659 you can try re installing the OS and check again. Because after new OS release Apple has stopped most of features in old devices.

Using this Terminal command only works on Intel-based Macs, not the ones that use Apple Silicon. M1 and M2-based Macs do not have NVRAM, or even PRAM for that matter. I wish that Apple would publish a solution for this, so that people who enjoy autoboot can use it, while people who do not like it can turn it off
Yes, Apple Engineering team is working fine, Soon it will support on M series Machines.

That is by default in T2 machines, if you press any keys, Machine will boot up. So thats it normal.
