Veetje 8, a mirage drive powered self built nesting dinghy, seating two people side by side.
When not in use, this dinghy can be split in two to be stored and taken along on the foredeck, the bow section fitting in the rear section.

YB kit: Shaping the pendulum rudder for the DIY windvane self steering system

After the plywood pieces have been bonded to the carbon fiber tube (that video will come later) the blade will be shaped. For this we use a quick method for material removal, followed by a sander. The quick method in this video is an angle grinder with a special blade. This is very agressive, which is why it is possibly not suitable for everyone.

Hi, Very interested in one of your steering systems for my yacht, I noticed that you don’t ship to the UK, is that still the case?
What is Mr v? It's hard to differentiate the different systems or the manufacturer name or the designer name or whatever all these names are, I can't figure out how to find information to complete one single system
Why not make all this in a 3D printer?

they are scamming with Y&B finished product and kit as "cheaper" alternative that the rest of overpriced windvanes meant to scam babyboomers. So another barnacle-deadweight joins the hull to stop the community with scandalous overpriced merchandise, however it's the fault of DIYers to not develop this system in open design platforms and promote them further
When doing the sums it turned out that offering Y&B in a less finished state than the standard version would result in the same price as WoodenB would need to be, but requiring way less time and skill from the customer.

Plans for WoodenB as a complete system have been cancelled for now, but this Veedeo will stay relevant!
The plans for WoodenB as presented untill now have been canceled. But a video with plans for an alternative is planned for the begining of March.

What nobody ever talks about is that when you sailing near a coast, the wind shifts continually so if you get complacent and don't keep a careful watch the wind vane is happy to sail you onto a shore or rock.

Sorry but Looks very flimsy... small nylon gears and an overall look of DIY.
That gear is taking virtually no load at all. This is how the self steering systems work. Like a low voltage and high voltage current via a relay.
Can you do a video on the procedure and steps for sailing a particular heading, say 270 degrees?
After that would you need a video on sailing 275 degrees?

Todd, it is a reference to the original Walt Murray. Sven has Walt's original plans available for download on his Mr Vee wind vane website.
Is the name "WALT" a tribute to Walt Murray, the American engineer who, in retirement, designed a lot of windvanes for homemade construction? Walt worked (via the internet) with Jan Alkema quite a bit until he passed away.
