To get a little more technical, this specific roll is called a buzz roll and you basically just hold the sticks loose and just go crazy while putting enough force into the pad to make a "buzzing" noise. There's multiple types of drums rolls such as double stroke (RRLL, LLRR) Or the single stroke (RLRL, LRLR). Hope this helps a little bit for beginners!
Absolutely! Soon I'm thinking of recording a couple more for other types of rolls. If there are any that anyone particularly wants feel free to comment!
@Sticks_UP Also I can't believe I forgot the paradiddle (RLRR LRLL)
Of course 🤣
Bro im a beginner learning to play drums and i learned that alone yesterday
That's awesome! Keep it up
@Sticks_UP thx
@@drinkwater69420Yeah keep up, supporting you too
What are some good warm up drills? Make some videos of that
Okay, I’ll make a video on warm up drills to play the drum, thank you for your comment
@Sticks_UP thanks man. I appreciate it.
Any time
Hey, going to record over the next couple of days. Until then I just recommend playing through the solos to warm up (theres a playlist on the channel), I always start with them when I teach some of the less experienced drummers
The warm up drills are uploaded, sorry it took so long hope you like it
Great lesson, wonderful example also for my Students, thanks for sharing !
Thank you glad this was useful! Feel free to comment wherever if there are any other tutorials you guys would find useful!
Buzz roll yes....
ഇതിന്റെ വില എത്രയാ
Hey, the drum pad and sticks (comes with a small carrier bag too) cost £18.99 on amazon. There are lots or other options if you want a different size or material, but they tend to be between £15 and £25.
Molte 🙏🙏da un principiante Maestro 💪👍👏👏💯🎖️🍺🍺🥁🇮🇹
Glad I could help!

If there are any other skills like this you would like a video on let me know!
Is this grip common in other countries? In America this type of grip would be done with forefinger and middle finger on top of the left stick.
Hey, I'm not too sure, I'm assuming you can tell from my accent I'm from the UK. As these are played on a snare drum which is to the side, we use the left hand grip to stop our elbows sticking out. I can see the US version would do the same. This is just the way I've been taught and its what we do in my Corps of Drums. I have tried this before and I've found the grip I've explained here helps better will rolling. Thanks for the question!
@@Sticks_UP do you find that left hand grip comfortable? It looks very strange to me.
On a side drum it’s at an angle so that grip is the best way to play on the drum, it’s quite comfortable when holding the sticks like that and it makes it so much easier to play at angle
@Sticks_UP I'm talking more about the position of the stick in the fingers. It might be a good idea to look into how traditional grip works, as the way you're holding the stick here could probably cause you problems in the future.
Idk but i got asmr from this video
I'll take that as a complement 🤣
What kind of drum is that?
Hey, it's just a drum pad. We use them to practice on for the snare drum, which is what we use on parades and rehearsals. It's also much quieter than an actual drum. here's a link to where I got it: (amazon) www.amazon.co.uk/LOLUNUT-Practice-2-sided-Silent-Rubber/dp/B08NJBHK4W/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?adgrpid=122498471985&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.83v5006CiaiuF-W6WDxTqncoJTDih8KU7_sPmp-G2zx74uJ_CqFRjPlySr-dBO0q0d0ViNHbfyJmzQgVUui6vDN_EFQ8oqpcyOjukQLoY8k77ckAwKkWo6t29qXX1xwTGP3g_oXlBM_Tcls6U80bT4S2NVSjijeIKTYfQmDV4EvE9HwNg6e7oMGV-LBlmdXg4Afj0465CDG7sZHKNxgElg.QsvvxHQJoIQhFFF2cGwMbkPgpZfWl-TQqDUJINzmuG8&dib_tag=se&hvadid=525403322135&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9045962&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=7300510211564794565&hvtargid=kwd-1073098248477&hydadcr=7296_1719902&keywords=lolunut%2Bdrum%2Bpad&qid=1715085581&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1&th=1

I think it might just be the best video ever made
Well done to the person who made it!
the drags are not so clean
I know this tune. it does sound off here but on the drums that's how its meant to sound. it sounds better cos the sound is more even from the snares. I get what you mean though
@@Dragonier1234 oh yeah true I could imagine how those would sound alot better on a real drum thanks for that man
