Nice video! I'm a beginning trapper myself. What size traps do you use for fox?
Hello..just got the Deceptor and cant see how to record videos over 10 sec and is it possible to turn the camera on/off from the phone? Also there is suppose to be a way to stop recording pics/video's on your camera from your camera. Cant find that as well. Any help would be great
I don't think you can do videos any longer than that. Are you asking if you can turn the power off on the camera from the app? If so, that's not possible. There isn't any interface on the camera to have controls at it. Everything is done through the app. How I would stop the recording and pictures would be to cancel the plan with them or set the the camera from Always On to Scheduled Time and make it run for like a minute. Cedar grove as in cedar grove in bullitt county ? And if so I used to live out there and we had several run ins with coyotes , raccoons, possums and foxes

@@cedargroveoutdoors3208 welp worth a shot and I was hoping someone was helping deal with the coyotes because I remember as a young kid running outside with a shotgun to protect our dogs and our chickens from them because they were in such a huge pack that they really didn’t fear humans at night

@@cedargroveoutdoors3208 if only they saw their dogs fighting for their lives in a little group in their back yard as they came out in pjs half asleep loading a shotgun with intent to protect their pets , then maybe they’d understand but sadly a ton of people are WAY too sheltered by how good we have it here , sheltered to the point it’s genuinely a detriment to them and others and sad .

Foxes are just one of the predators which remove rodents. Consider the area has red fox, coyotes, bobcats, owls, hawks, mink, skunks, weasels, and coon to this list and you’ll see losing a couple predators will not reduce rodent removal. Then too, the fall and early winter dispersal of canine predators will back fill what has been removed. Please keep in mind fox also have an impact on ground nesting birds. Pheasants, , quail, turkeys, geese and partridge all do better when there are fewer predators in the area.

The animals I catch don't suffer. Modern day traps are designed to hold the animal and not hurt them. I encourage you to look up all the advantages trapping has on the ecosystem.

What's really messed up is when we don't manage the population of coyotes and then they come into neighborhoods and eat dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. Trapping has so many advantages on the ecosystem, I encourage you to look it up.
