We are the Gricey Gang: Manda, Paul, Ethan and Macie. We are just a normal(ish) family enjoying time together and life in general ❤️ We love our holidays and have a major passion for both the hustle and bustle of Disney and chilling out on a sunny beach. Paul and myself are both on Slimming World and it puts our cooking skills to good use! We love to be in the kitchen and love to make delicious food.

The Gricey Gang - Benalmadena 2023
This was our main holiday for 2023 and we just happened to go while Spain was in the middle of a heatwave!
We have been to Benalmadena before but decided on a different hotel this time. We loved it just as much this time as we did the last time and are itching to go back again!
There are some really good things to do in the area, such as, the Marina in Benalmadena, Benalmadena Pueblo (Old Town), The Water Park and Fuengirola!

This was by far the kids favourite park of the holiday! They asked to go at every opportunity. It is a good park, with plenty to keep everyone entertained whether you like to swim or not. I love to just paddle at the edge of the water and let the waves from the wave pool just lap over my feet! The lazy river is also really good and relaxing. We had to fight the kids to get out after 2 full loop...

This was our first experience of Icon Park but most definitely will not be our last. We only did the big wheel and Madame Tussauds but there is also a Sea Life Centre and an amusement arcade as well as plently of places to eat and drink. The views from the top of the big wheel were amazing and we want to do it again at nighttime to get a different perspective of it! We hope you enjoy! :)

These were our days in Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. We spread these out over a couple of days so we could get the most out of the parks. These parks appeal more to the kids than the Disney parks and we are looking at spending more time here next time we head to the states. We had this Villa booked in 2019 when we first decided we were going back to the magic. It caught our eye straight away and we were keen to try a different resort by going to Sunset Lakes. This was quite an exciting day for all of us as me and the kids haven't done this before and Paul was excited for us to experience it. We took a day trip to Clearwater Beach as it is one of our favourite location outside of the hustle and bustle of Disney! It is a stunning Beach, and the surrounding area is quite nice too. We found a lovely, quiant little cafe for lunch which was authentic American. The drive to the Beach alone is worth it! We hope you enjoy! :)

We have only stayed in the family rooms and there is plenty of wardrobe space in those. I'm not sure on the other types of rooms though.

Sorry for so many questions, but is the beach walking distance? and is the hotel food good?
The food in the hotel is nice but there are plenty of eating places in Hisaronu village too. The beach is a short bus or taxi ride away and does not cost a lot. Unfortunately it is down a rather large hill and I'm not sure you can walk all the way down the road
Did you do self catering?
We were bed and breakfast but there is the opportunity to upgrade to half board or all inclusive
How much was it for the water park pls?
It was around £10 each for entry

Great video and nice people too.It gave me a good idea of what the area is like as me and my girlfriend are going to Hisaronu last two weeks in September.We will be staying at the Hotel Pine Valley and have never been to this part of Turkey before.
We love the hotel and the area. We have stayed at Pine Valley three times and are booked to go back next May. We hope you enjoy it and thanks for joining our adventure :)

@steven middlehurst we are going back to Pine Valley as we are taking people with us which have never been and it is an ideal location to show off Hisaronu. We find it is perfect for our little ones too!
@steven middlehurstit is difficult to take all of the children all of the time so you will see that on different videos to different locations there are different children with us

Great video especially the food review.. I go on Thursday for 2 days with a 2 year old and 2 year old and I now feel more relaxed. Do u recommend anywhere local to take the kids? Thanks for the video :-)
sk1na01 we walked about 5 minutes to a quiet stretch of beach which was lovely. There is also a small water park across the road from the hotel which our 2 really loved. It has little spash pools in. Up in the local Pueblo there is a butterfly centre which might be interesting for your little one. Thanks for the comments :-)
