Great video, the first of your walking videos that I've seen 😊
Thank you man!
Hi Matt, I know that you're very busy at the moment but I have just arrived in Nanjing, I will stay for perhaps a week, message me if you would like to meet for coffee
We aren’t sleeping man lol. It’s rough. I wish I had the energy to do anything. I haven’t even been running or anything like I normally do.
Hi Matt, I'll be coming to Nanjing in a few days time, please reply if you would like to meet up Regards Will

Really love your videos. I am also from Jiangdu and I was an international student in Canada and Australia. I am always homesick so I tried to search my hometown in TH-cam.Though I don‘t live in the village,it still gives me a good feeling that I am home. Thanks a lot for sharing it!

How do u book the room? How long can you stay there?

Why are you leaving Xiao behind, she's practically running, what's the rush? It looks so disrespectful. The scenery isn't going anywhere Matt.
She doesn’t always really want to be in the videos, so I film and then meet back up with her.
Nice video we are spoilt for choice when it comes to EV’s here in China 👍 although, hopefully one day every car in your videos and on the streets will be a Tesla! 😂
@@middlekingdomproductions Haha that’s is for the comment! I doubt that will happen but they will be a player for sure.
I had a 14 hours layover in Incheon and stayed here for a few hours. Once you turned off the light, it was really peaceful and quiet. I was definitely able to shut my mind down. The shower in the room was a really nice perk!

Great job. Little pink. 小粉紅
Meanwhile in my area anything that doesn't guzzle gas or belch smoke is considered Un-American
Yeah it's like that where I am from also. My analysis is that the vast majority of Chinese people didn't even have a car until the last 20-30 years, so they don't have the same kind of history with gas guzzlers anyway.
surely, with more and more EVs on the road, the air quality in Chinese cities must be improving. thanks for the video.
Yes, the air quality here is much better than before! You’re welcome!
to be honest, not only air quality but also noise condition in the street is getting better. those EVs are so quiet compared with ICEs
A lot of Teslas, I wonder what Biden thinks about this. LOL
@@alvinnnliu I think he hates Elon, so my is he would be annoyed to see how well Tesla is doing in China.
nanjing is noisy... honks a lot

Basically all of China is moving to middle class? Why aren't we seeing any uploads from Chinese people themselves
Because you don't know Chinese, Chinese people are more active in China's own videos as well as social networking sites.
@@harmhoeks5996 You need a VPN to use TH-cam in China and most Chinese people don’t have one. They just use Chinese video websites and have never used TH-cam. There are some Chinese people with VPNs but a very very small percentage.
most dont use youtube they make tons videos on Chinese tiktok. For those do make video on TH-cam it's mostly Chinese content, I doubt it will be in your recommend feed
Apart from Chinese version of tiktok, they have platforms like Bilibili, hosting traditional 16:9 format video. To have an idea on how Chinese run their business, Bilibili exercises what they call social responsibility investing, they've built elementary schools in rural areas, and have their own EO satellite in lower orbit making content for younger generation to promote science and engineering.
Getting VPN is easy nowadays if someone is determined. Most Chinese people don't bother coming to YT is because there is no point of beating the dead horse. Most Americans or Westerners rather believe it was faked when they see a genuine video positive about China. Just keep them being fooled such as social credit scores. Chinese focus on their own life improvements while Westerners focus on sabotaging others life to make their life look better comparatively.
✌✌✌
Just curious. Are there houses like these in the major Chinese cities?
@@EnkiEnterprises I don’t think so. There are some housing communities in big cities but they are modern houses like in an American suburb.
I was there in April & the water level was normal. You must be there after a drought
Tesla👍
感觉不是扬州话,应该是江都靠近泰州的部分
是的。这个农村离泰州很近。
Not bad overall. I would consider it for a summer place. But the only place to pass hard winter in China is the city.
我们允许美国在中国销售特斯拉和iPhone,美国人却不允许我们销售中国电动车和中国制造手机😅
Yeah I agree it's pretty dumb. I think they know that those EVs will absolutely destroy the Big 3 automakers in the States. They are doomed anyway .
Honestly, Xuanyi is a bad translation. It has another name "sylphy" whitch is usually called in other countries.
Many of these Chinese EV companies have bad translations or just very funny sounding names. Even BYD is a strange name - Build Your Dreams. I can’t think of other car companies that have a name that is a phrase. In Chinese I’m not sure if 比亚迪 even has a real direct translation from Chinese or they just used the BYD in Build Your Dreams and gave it Chinese characters to match the sounds, but it is weird in my opinion from an English speaking person’s perspective. It is a marketing ploy, but it sort of falls flat in my opinion. I much prefer when companies just use their native names - I think Xiaopeng is a good name because it is a real Chinese name and doesn’t feel pretentious at all. People look at Xiaopeng and they know it is a Chinese brand with a real Chinese name and feeling.
@@xiaoandmatt BYD is actually a rude word...that's funny, cause when Wang found it, it was just a factory which products batteries and pcb, so the name doesn't matter. And, he tried many names, and all of them are registed, so he was very angry and just cursed the situation..and he successfully registed. However, when they decide to make cars...it's too late XD. Build your dream is just a name they found not so rude.
You look like Kevin Spacey. Dont know if that is good or bad.
@@evelic Lots of Chinese people say that. Never heard it from people back home. Mostly got John Cusack.
I am a Cadillac XT5 owner from Suzhou, and this year I wanna buy the AVATR 07 or the Huawei AITO M8。
I didn't realise that zeekr 001 is big, looks bigger than tesla model Y 😮
Not sure of the exact size but it’s close for sure.
Taxis and shared ownership hailing cars are EV’s imposed by the government Look for private ownership virtually none
