Thanks for sharing your garden with us. Have a wonderful day 😊
@reneesellers9708 thank you for watching!
I had so many army Caterpillars on my tomatoes. They were blended in so well. 😮
@@HealthyLivingWithWendy this is my first year having to deal with them! They do belnd in well! Ugh!
Hurricane Debby was a menace here in Florida. Glad you and your family are safe. Your jalapeños look great. Thanks for sharing 🧡
@urbanbackyardcontainergardenin Yeah, here in NC, we usually just get the rain portion of the storm, especially more inland where we are. I hope you were able to stay safe down there! Thank you for watching!
Hey neighbor. I hope you’re doing well after the storm. Those black army worms are just as bad as hornworms and they poop 💩 all over too. Your cushaw squash is ready, you can harvest the seeds now. You are too funny talking about the bee 🐝 carrying 10 grocery bags 😂, your garden is still doing well. Do what you can to keep your garden going. That’s what’s important. Your garden is established so your ahead of the game. What are you planting for fall. Happy gardening 👩🏽🌾 ❤😊
@GodsDesire4me heeeeyyyy giiirrrllll!!!! Good to hear from you! Thank you for the encouragement! I think for fall, my must haves are garlic and lacinato kale. Then I think I'm going to try beats, spinach, lettuce, broccoli, collard greens, lettuce and maybe radishes.
It's the end of the summer and you've done it! 🎶🎶 I honestly don't know how you managed the garden and everything this year. Don't think of it as not going right, just think of it being this year's harvest. Even pro farmers have harvests that get thrown off for one reason or another. Your stuff looks WAY better than mine ever would!
@mirrani7092 whew! Thank you! There are a lot of things that have gone well.positive thoughts! Lol thank you!!!
ACEAAAAAA!!!!!
@@Jaytube106 Jaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!!!!
Your kitchen is lived in, just like all of ours. :) Also I recognize those window plants. Did you get the tall one tied to stakes or is it just going however?
Soo, when I brought the tall one home, I put it on the back deck and it got really sun burned, so it is in healing mode right now! whomp whomp I have stakes in there but it is loosely connected to them.
@@diaryofafumblingfarmer8291 I still have to repot my orchids.
@@mirrani7092 🤣🤣🤣 me too!!! I did find my soil though! Lol
@@diaryofafumblingfarmer8291 I've just got to be home long enough to do it. Busy working summer.
Hey neighbor, your garden is doing so well. So sorry about the casualties while you were away. Hopefully they will bounce back wonderfully. I was thinking of starting some of the brassicas that take a while to get started for fall. I don’t want to start too early but I’m thinking when my tomatoes are done, the brassicas should be ready to go out. Just a thought. Happy gardening 👩🏽🌾 ❤😊
I'm thinking to put brassicas where the corn is and I think the corn will be ready soon! It is so hard to get the timing right but each year I make small improvements!
I can't wait for the great tomato tasting! Everything is looking great.
Just waiting for them to ripen!
Hey there Acea, I don’t know why I’m just now seeing your video but any who, very nice tour. Looks like spider mite damage on your blueberry tree. I’ve been dealing with some of that. Everything is looking great. Happy gardening 👩🏽🌾 ❤😊
❤❤❤
Maybe the potatoes break off when you pull the plant.. looking forward to the potato harvest,😂😂 New subscriber here from Growing My Own.
Lol! Maybe!!! The potato harvest is going to be either surprising or hysterical! It will probably be my next video, at least for that bucket. Thank you for watching and subscribing! I'm about to go check out your channel!
Hi beautiful garden thanks for sharing where did you get your bug vacuum and will it vacuum up the bug eggs
Hi! I got the bug vacuum off of Amazon. I'm not sure about sticking up the eggs. I usually just cut off the leaf if I find eggs, so I haven't tried to vacuum them! I think next time I find eggs, I will test it out and let you know! If you get one and try it first, make sure you let me know! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!

Im new at this but i am loving it. (my 2nd year of container gardening) THanks for sharing... also new subbie! I'm loving ur info! Thanks!
Welcome to gardening and this channel!!! Thank you for subscribing!
Suggestion: put weed fabric on edges of garden control those then put plants in bag on weed fabric Hydrangeas are pink because high in nitrogren, beautiful
Thanks for the suggestion! I knew the hydrangea color had to do something with the soil makeup but I couldn't remember which part exactly. Thank you for watching and commenting!!
❤ the garden.
Thank you!!!
Holy cow that garden is AMAZING. I expect the pickles will be yummy no matter what you make them from. Yay for family recipes.
They never made it to pickle form... my kids have decided they are perfect snacking size!
Great and educational garden tour..
Thank you so much!!!
You have such a beautiful, pleasant look on your face! I bet we could have a nice long visit! Keep that smile coming😃
We are gardeners too "This is Bliss" and enjoy your channel. Might have to get one of those vacuums for the garden arsenal 😅
Thank you so much for watching! The vacuum is a game changer!
I'm beginning to wonder if I imagined the days of "gently take the bug outside because we don't want to hurt it." Always enjoy your videos. Can't wait for the next one!
Lol! If I find a bug indoors, I will still gently put it outside! And, I do leave the friendly ones alone! I just have been taken advantage of for my kindness in the past and my plants got decimated and we are not doing that any more! lol
Hello!

Your garden looks amazing!😊 Thanks for sharing!😊 Question: What type of bug vacuum did you have, and where did you purchase it? Thanks in advance. 😊
It is a rechargeable hand vacuum from Amazon.... let me find the link to the one I got and I will share it! In my mid may garden update, I show myself using it, if you want to check that out!

Hey there! I directly sow my pea seeds mid March and I am in Ohio. So you may want to start them earlier since you're in a warmer climate 🌱🫛
Love the name and great tour❤
Thank you for watching and commenting! I had to brainstorm a bit to get the name and I love it too! I am not always sure what I'm doing but I'm figuring it out!
Hello, thank you for the garden tour, the green container that you had over the melons. Where could I find something like that. Zone 9b Louisiana
Thank you so much for watching. I looked up garden cloche on Amazon. Let me see if I can find the link...

Leave some aphids for the ladybugs to eat. Maybe a trap crop. You've got a lot growing on! Lovely tour
I do have to remember to leave some food for the friendly bugs! Today when I went out I saw 4 praying mantis babies and a bunch of ladybug larvae!
Awesome video !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Ot takes loofah a long time to germinate. Nice video.
Thank you for watching! That is good to know about the loofah! I will try to be more patient!
Hey Acea great video. Thanks for all the great information. ❤😊
I enjoyed the garden tour, thank for sharing.. cut the brown spots off any plant. Great tour.
Thank you so much! I ended up spraying the lemon tree with insecticidal soap spray, and the next morning, nothing was moving on it anymore, so I could just brush them all off!
Tomatoes look great 😊
Thank you! So far so good!

I have a cheap handvac I've been using for years. I was glad to see someone else doing it.
Yes! Such a great idea!
Thank you for the xaccuming of the red bugs because I see 😊a huge amount of them. I didn’t want any chemicals in the garden. I have Mexican petunias planted and the red bugs in that bush. Thank you.
I think it is going to be a game changer!
Hey there. Your garden is looking beautiful. I bought these things called tomato hangers and it comes with a spool of plastic twine and it is working perfectly. Yes honey, I had an issue with the slugs and snails so i had to get the sluggo on them. They were killing my peppers 🫑. Your garden lights are beautiful. I had my first snake in my garden the other day. I’m not ready for that but I am now 😂 hoe and ammonia on standby. Happy Mother’s Day if you celebrate. Thanks for sharing ❤😊
Aaaagghhh...snakes! My kids love snakes so if they are not venomous, they handle those for me. 😂 I have some sluggo on its way. Hopefully the peppers can hold on until then. I will look for the tomato hangers too! Thanks for the suggestion!
Those freaking somethings in league with their friends the slugs. So frustrating. :) Love your garden tours. Always so much fun. I love that your snap dragons are living in their little plant cave. Even if it means they might not be getting a ton of light.
That’s a lot of cicadas 😊. Nice video. Thank you for posting 😊🐝💚🌻 33:57
Thank you! It really is a ridiculous number of cicadas! Lol
Nice work gardener..
Thank you so much!!
We need Jamal to come get our lawn that green. Wow! We don't have any way to keep the lawn watered, though. :(
