Guys, these videos are packed with lore! So the battle of apple mountain already took place. Popo dreamed he was in it. Then he is selected to be the baba yaga, and Shifu resents him for it. Little do we know, Shifu is one of the ten apples of apple mountain. He escaped and kept his identity safe from the furry five and oogway for all these years. Then Oogway tells him Tai Lung is a peach tree. Shifu wants Kai to destroy Oogway, his biggest threat, since he knows Kai will return one day. He also knows that Kai will be defeated by a peach tree. He then plans to get rid of Tai Lung permanently, without blowing his cover. So he goes to Zeng and tells him to make the guards leave the prison so Tai lung's escape will be easier. Zeng refuses, and Shifu threatens him to make him obey. Shifu reluctantly trains Popo so he can defeat Tai Lung. [This took place behind Oogway's back] But due to the warden's stupidity, Tai lung busts out anyways. After failed attempts, he escapes and heads to the Valley. Shfu tells Oogway that he escaped and Oogway tell him that he is limited by being an apple when he thinks he can be like a tree. Shifu realizes that Oogway knows about this and tells him that he cannot defeat Tai lung, in the hopes that Oogway will join him. Oogway tells him that today is a peach and that basically he will lose if he keeps being an apple. He then dies. The battle with the five ensues, and Tai lung defeats them all. The battle with Shifu ensues, and we learn that Tai Lung wants to make Shifu like him and take his title. Shifu is beaten and tells Tai Lung that he has always been lower like him, and that he does not want to be again. Then he drops the bomb that he is in fact one of the apples of apple mountain to try to convince Tai Lung to join him. Tai Lung is about to kill Shifu instead when Popo shows up, not knowing about any of this of course. He fails to defeat Tai Lung, and Tai Lung escapes. Then we go to the second. Shifu then learns that Shen is collecting all of the food, and since he is searching for the remainder of the apples, Shen is inadvertently ruining his plans. Shifu orders them to destroy Shen and one the way to pick up an apple from Chor Gum prison. One of the ten. Tai Lung shows up and tries to tell Popo about Shifu, but they get captured by Shen, and Tai Lung escapes again. They defeat Shen and this leads to the third movie.
