i am getting this monitor and i have 60 hz rn is the diffrence between 60hz and 100hz a big diffrent since i play games like fortnite and valorant?
Hey, thanks for the question. Anything over 60Hz is noticeable, especially in fast moving scenes like FPS games. And in case you intend on using the monitor for a long time I suggest you get a monitor with 120Hz or more. This is my recommendation of 8 24" monitors under $100 that I would consider buying. Edit, forgot the link th-cam.com/video/Uf2F71DgsSw/w-d-xo.html
hey man can i ask what was the pre-installee bios?
Sure thing, I haven't updated the bios since my system runs fine. The bios version my board came installed with is 4202, which came out in 31/7/2023, and the latest version that came out just recently is 4622, from 14/11/2024.
if my speakers are rated 20W each, does it matter if i get a board that support up to 50W on each one?
In your case you just need to make sure that the board supports at least 40w, 20w on each channel, if you want to crank them speakers to max volume. Having a higher Watt driver board than what the speakers need is better.
Hello can you make a tutorial on how to remove the stand of this monitor, im planning to buy a monitor arm soon
Hey, thanks for the question. Maybe that could be a topic for a short video since it's fairly easy to remove it, but you do need both hands to do it. - With one hand grab the monitor by the frame at the bottom middle. - With the other hand you'll have to push in a clip, that is on the other side of the monitor on the stand. - Once the clip is pushed in, lift the monitor up from the stand. - Alternative: You can also lay the monitor down on a flat but soft surface, if you use this second method make sure you're not too rough as you can damage the panel.
bruh..so many fans 😂
there's never too many! Unless you have to start kicking to get them in ;)
Hey man, I have an issue with ghosting, does this monitor ghost a lot?
Hey. I don't know what a lot means for you. I did go to ufo test to do a quick ghosting test and I do see ghosting there. But when I played some games, even fast paced shooters, ghosting didn't stand out to me.
@jackalldiytech Well yeah it's a bit hard to define what a lot means, sorry. Thanks for the reply!
i buy it and is very good 😃
That great to hear
Hi! i like this idea and i was wondering if the amazon item in the reply for this comment would work for some speakers harvested from fairly new lg tv. they say 14w max on the back. also do i need to solder it and do i need any other equipment? thanks a lot :)
Hi, I don't see any link you might have posted in your comment so I can't help you with that. When it comes to electronics it needs to make solid connection, be it with soldering, crimping 2 wires together or have a connector with a screw to screw the wire in place.
Yo bro i have a laptop (60hz intel integrated graphic ) do u think that if i connect my laptop to the monitor it will increase my fps in fortnite?
As long as it's not a very old CPU then the iGPU should be good enough to give you 100fps to take full advantage of the monitors refresh rate.
I have a work laptop that is 60 hz, when plugged into my home monitor (165 hz) it can only reach 60hz in settings, so I would be wary, see if you can find out more info
Hi it mabee ur HDMI cable or ur laptop is having problem check other yt videos if changing HDMI dint change@@stevesteaven8349
Im dont know much about these but how do i connect by keyboard and mouse
Hi, no worries and thank you for the question. This is not an all in one PC if that is what you are after, this is only a monitor (providing you a picture). If you're interested in this monitor you will need a computer (or a laptop) to which you will connect your monitor and mouse - plugging them into a USB port.
@@jackalldiytech ok ty for clarifying
Clarification.. After the last step, you said to put the main router's password in the password field? Which router is this? The router you are initially joining to the third router? I only have two routers that I can use.
I see that I worded it poorly so thank you for the question. You have to put in the password of your main router that this router will connect to, in bridge mode this router is an extension of your main one. So if you use wi-fi for instance, and you're not in range of the main router but are in range of the bridged one, then you won't lose connection as it will automatically switch - that is my understanding of it anyway, it's been a while since I've done and used this.

Is the screen Anti glare?
Thanks for the question. I don't see any sharp reflections and if I shine a light on the monitor the light is dispersed. I hope that's what you wanted to know.
Thank you so much! I was barely able to find reviews for this model, and you really helped me decide to buy this
Hello! I am going to buy this specific monitor and I will use it as my external monitor for my laptop (intel iris Xe graphics 60hz) do you think it will boost my gaming experience (League of legends). Will the external monitor run in 100Hz even if my laptop only has 60Hz of refresh rate?
Hey, the intel iris Xe iGPU should be able to run at more than 60Hz when using an external monitor. The fps you get will depend on the games you play and the graphics settings. League of Legends should be able to max out the monitor refresh rate, even with the iGPU.
I bought one of these and modded it, it brings much better sound and typing. There is a video on my channel showing it
Thanks for sharing, will take a look!
I’m using both my m.2 and Sata ssd and it works great? Used the pci 1x for additional usb and type c connections with my case
That is a great use case for the pcie slot, thanks for sharing. No doubt the SATA SSD works great, as it should. However, if you look into the motherboard specification, you will see that SATA port 5 and 6 don't work while the m.2 slot is populated.
got the ak992 myself. Pretty nice for the price.
Ajazz does seem to make some decent entry level keyboards, the AK992 is a full size keyboard that I hinted at and I'll see if it meets my expectations for the cheapest full size mechanical keyboard.
@@jackalldiytech it's pretty decent with a ton of mods ;P
Cool video keep going
thank you
Is it overclocked 100 hzs ?or can we further overclock it
I never tried overclocking panels, but if you wanted to reach 120Hz that would be a 20% increase, which I don't think is realistic, unless my assumption is wrong.
Lol
Great video!! Thank you for the help and tips!!! I plan to get the Bluetooth board and use some old Roku tv speakers and put them in the ceiling.
Thank you. I like your idea of putting the speakers into the ceiling, that's certainly thinking outside of the box! Just make sure all the wires are isolated and protected to prevent any possible fire hazzard.
Can you make it verticle ?
Do you mean if it can be rotated into portrait mode? It can not as the stand only has tilt adjustment. But it does have a VESA mount, so you can use a monitor arm.
@@jackalldiytech Thank you bro, ur video really helped me Im gonna buy this monitor as a secondary monitor after my exams plus gonna buy a monitor stand
Would a ps4 work I don’t know the ps4 hertz and want a budget monitor for Fortnite
Will the monitor work? Yes. However, you probably want to play the games at max fps, which I believe is 120 for the consoles. Unfortunately, since the monitor is only 100Hz it means that you can only play games at 60Hz (consoles either play at 60 or 120Hz). So for console gaming you want a monitor with at least 120Hz. I'll have to check if there is any cheap and decent console monitors.
Sir can i use this monitor at 100hz without any Graphics card?
Thank you for a great question! The answer is yes, when it comes to the monitor. However the problem might be the CPU that you are using and possibly which Motherboard as well (which HDMI version it has). Most of the older generation integrated GPUs (Intel ones) will not be able to run at full 100Hz but it should be possible with the Ryzen APUs (G version processor with integrated Vega graphics). However, I have never done a test like this before and I also don't know what you have, so I can't say if it will work for you.
Thank you sir, I liked your content and I am subscribing your channel.@@jackalldiytech
Does this have a free sfx to atx psu adapter? I wanna build in this case, but have an sfx psu.
It does not come with an ATX to SFX adapter. You can however use the top or front fan mounts for your SFX PSU if you also want to use a CPU tower cooler. In any case, you will want to put something in the back to close off the hole.
@@jackalldiytech I see, thank you very much for the quick response. Have a blessed day.
Dude are you serious!!! This is just webpage that's running on google chrome under windows machine Just i stall OSMC and thank you for wasting my time
what about the GPU?
The Intel G5925 processor has an integrated graphics UHD 610, which is ok for basic tasks like playing videos, not the best for playing games, in that case any ryzen processor with an integrated graphics would be better. As for a discrete graphics card, for the one that I have on hand I would have to make some changes, if I wanted to use the Sapphire Nitro RX 5600 XT in a vertical position as it is too long to be used in the normal horizontal position.
@@jackalldiytech I mean, can it fit with one or two fan GPUs model ?
Thanks for the clarification. If you can use a two or one fan GPU will depend on the model. But as long as the card is shorter than 210mm it will fit inside. An example of such card would be Asus dual rtx 3060 ti mini oc.
@@jackalldiytech thanks a lot
u need A server or something, just for funn@360p is good play experience......ps:use handles from speakers?like the corner
At the moment I found a different use for this PC. A TV set top box. The TV that I have is not smart enough, so I can't use the ISP website to access the TV channels. The official TV box from my ISP provider uses the cable bandwidth but it is not good enough to provide steady signal to 2 TVs. On the other hand, all of the PCs access the internet not via the cable like the TV, but via LTE (my ISP offered a hybrid modem). So unless the LTE connection drops I have 50/20 Mbps as opposed to up to 10/2 via cable. Yeah I know, it's not fiber optics speed but still better than most places, especially considering that I have no monthly bandwidth limit. Regarding your server idea. I am looking into building a server that is good enough to archive my videos and also have Plex installed to serve media to 1 maybe 2 devices, maybe something for music as well. I doubt I would ever edit videos straight off of it, but I might share some templates, fonts, etc. so I could access those from different PCs. Do you have any suggestion about that - preferably free, not too much to tinker with and can support 4x10tb drives as a start? I'm not sure what you meant with speaker handles, was this for the carry around mod?
nice!!
Thank you!

How long do lg monitors last such as this one?
Great question! While I don't have long term experience with LG monitors, a quick search showed that all LG monitors usually last between 5-10 years. Will this monitor last such a long time? It's hard to say as it depends in what kind of environment it is used - as you know the temperature, humidity and dustiness in a room differs and that does affect electronics.
How did you get Android 10 on such an old phone from 2106?
By installing a custom ROM. However, not all phones have custom ROMs. Nr.1 thing that you have to watch out for, if you want to use a phone for a long time, is that it doesn't have a mediatek CPU, otherwise there will be no ROM for those phones. And nr.2, the phone has to be popular, so there is a bigger community and higher chance someone makes a ROM. I have just recently found a website that has most of the phones and lists available ROMs, customrombay.com
how long your RMA process sir? 2 months?
It was surprisingly very fast. I did mention it in the video at some point, but from what I can remember the whole process (including emails and me sending it there) took less than 14 days, and I received a new drive delivered within 3 days after they have received the broken one. But this is my experience inside the EU.
I love your r pronunciation
Don't take this wrong way but you're either being sarcastic or literally the first person to tell me that.
@@jackalldiytech It is kinda sarcastic but it also sounds funny so it makes the video better :D
Thanks for that video, I’m waiting for case to come from china, that’s very useful to watch as I’m total beginner and have no experience as I was only laptop user, but this case and possibility to use cheaper parts pushed me to try having a small pc. If You would have any tips for this case I would greatly appreciate sharing them.
Thank you for the comment! Firstly, the case is very nice looking and quite adjustable, and portable. I put out a video recently where I put in maximum number of fans th-cam.com/video/7Rm04jGlvnk/w-d-xo.html (granted you can use 1 more fan if your GPU is shorter and doesn't span the whole case depth), and you can also mount sata ssds on the back side through the holes (also mentioned and shown in that video). TLDW, not much of a difference in temperature as the mesh holes are a bit too small - for example my GPU inside the case is 10C hotter than outside of it. But it's not really a problem for the CPU temperature. When it comes to building, having a smaller board is better as it is easier to build and manage the wires, but itx boards are more expensive. For more airflow, which the case lacks, you could mount an SFX power supply on the top and use a tower cooler. It can look something like this www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/18ecmwp/jonsbo_c6_easy_mod/ One of the boo boos that you can do, like I did, is to not put the IO shield in, and also make sure that none of the IO shield pins go inside the ports, in my case I had the pins inside the HDMI port, so I had to take out the motherboard again. Well nothing is wrong if the pins are in, but you won't be able to use the port if you do need to use the onboard GPU.
On this monitor should I turn on free sync? And what should the response time be?
Hi, free-sync is a better alternative to v-sync. Though some people say you should set your maximum refresh rate to 1-3 fps below the maximum monitor refresh rate, otherwise you can get screen tearing if your PC can push past the monitors maximum fps limit. I use free-sync without the -1 to -3 fps cap and I don't see any problems.

Originally, the 0.75mm thermal pad has a very low hardness, so if you use the 0.75mm thermal pad on the market without compressing it, the temperature will be unconditionally high
What I tested is upsiren 21w 0.75mm and FEHONDA 8w 0.75mm. "upsiren" has a high hardness, so the gpu hotspot temperature exceeds 100 degrees, and "FEHONDA" has a lower hardness than "upsiren," but still has a temperature of about 95 degrees, which is about 3 degrees higher than the original thermal pad's hotspot of 92 degrees.
The method of compressing is to press the thermal pad with your finger. You have to press a lot of upsiren, and if you press Fehonda lightly, the temperature comes out to the original temperature of the thermal pad.
If you think about the compressed depth I don't think there will be any problem even if 0.5mm 1.0mm is used.
I want to know the comparison you mentioned between the AXP120-X67 vs AMD Wraith Stealth to know the comparison of noice, temperature and the distance between the PSU.
Thank you for showing your interest in this topic! I am kind of swamped with other things at the moment so I don't know when I will be able to get to doing this video. So while I can't provide my hands on comparison I will list the specs that I have found online comparing the 2 coolers. Just from that alone you should be able to make a deduction which one is better. Whether you need a better CPU cooler will depend on the CPU you use and how hot of a GPU you use, if any, as the heat from the GPU will rise and affect the CPU cooler to some extent if the case airflow is not the best. AXP120-X67: Height: 52 mm Rated Speed: 1800 RPM±10% (MAX) Noise Level: 26.1 dBA Air Flow: 59 CFM (MAX) Power dissipation 200W Wraith Stealth: Height: 55 mm Rated Speed: 1200-2800 Noise Level: 42 dBA Air Flow: 27.18 CFM (MAX) Power dissipation 65W When it comes to noise level 27dB is like whispering, or a typical ambient room noise. 42dB is like the sounds in a library (according to some articles I found). But when it comes to fans that doesn't tell you anything about potential annoying frequencies. However, I can tell you that at idle the PC is whisper quiet from 1m away.
@@jackalldiytech Thank you very much for your help, I'm planning to build a pc with the Jonsbo C6 and CPU R5 7500f and GPU 4060 ti 16gb but I still can't decide which cpu cooler to use
Personally, I wouldn't use the Wraith cooler. And I would make sure that I get a good CPU cooler, because taking everything apart does take some time, not to mention the cable management. I can tell you that there are other mods you can do in the Jonsbo C6 case, like using an SFX power supply mounted at the top, and then you can use a full tower air cooler. You'll just have to figure out what makes more sense budget wise. Something like this www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/18ecmwp/jonsbo_c6_easy_mod/
That's crazy bro, but interesting. You should make a video with 140mm fans on the top and bottom and two 120mm fans in the front to see how the temps are and maybe some on the sides.
I would definitely like to do that but I don't have a short GPU that would allow me to add another fan in the front. The one I have barely fits in. I can imagine the temps being a bit better if one would use an SFX PSU instead of on ATX. I also came across a 160, or was it even a 180mm fan, that could fit on top, but it costs like $30. But I think the biggest improvement would be a bit bigger holes, but there's a ton of them to drill out by hand.
@@jackalldiytech What graphics card do you have?
It's an RTX 3060 ti by Inno3D
@@jackalldiytech must change it to RTX 4060 low profile. but your performance will go down. i think its better just keep what you have, just need to be undervolt so the temperature didnt fly. Changing itu SFX PSU is the best investment rather than changing your GPU.
@@patrickgrady7047 thanks for the information, I will definitely keep that in mind for other smaller form factor builds I'll make.
Hey man, do you know if this motherboard support Bios Flashback ?
Hey, thanks for the question. I didn't mention it but the board does have bios flashback. If you look at the user manual you will see that you have to press the bios flashback button, which is on the back of the IO, for 3 seconds to enable it. Do note that there is only 1 USB slot that supports the bios flashback. I suggest you go to the Asus website and search for the product manual for detailed information.
0.75 1.25mm UPSIREN 21W Thermal Pad I failed. What's your temperature?
Eventually I paid 20$ at a/s center and replaced the heatsink. Room temperature 32 degrees gpu 77 degrees hotspot 92 degrees(OCCT)
I have my GPU core set to 1900MHz at 0.9mV with +700MHz memory using MSI Afterburner. And in Heaven benchmark it goes to 82C and 102C hotspot, which is a lot. To have a more meaningful comparison I can do a test using the settings you have. Be it stock or let me know what you have set for core, voltage and memory, if you have also used MSI Afterburner. Also I have limited the fans to 70% speed at 80C. On a side note, the service center replaced the whole heatsink? Or did they apply the original pads and paste?
@@jackalldiytech Overclocking and temperature are irrelevant, because the power is limited to 200W. The entire heat sink with thermal pads was replaced at the service center. It's problematic to go over 100 degrees hotspot.
Well in case of MSI afterburner it is more of a min/max performance based on what you want. If you want lower power consumption and lower temperatures, you will set a core clock at a specific Volt instead of using the default curve. Adjusting the VRAM memory also affects performance and temperature, the fan speed also plays a role and last but not least the PC case and the airflow inside of it. So with a core clock undervolt to 0.9mV, memory clocks set to default and fans speed set to 100%, inside a Jonsbo C6 case, I had temperatures 77C and 99C hotspot runing the heaven benchmark. It's not a major improvement but some settings do impact the temperatures, undervolting being the biggest one.
@@jackalldiytechWhat I want to tell you is that the temperature is too high. The difference between gpu core and hotspot temperature means that the heatsink is not properly attached
UPSIREN 21w 0.75mm 1.25mm has failed It should be used with a low thermal pad hardness. If the thermal pad hardness is higher than the original, I think it is better to use 0.75mm 1.25mm if the 0.5mm 1.0mm hardness is lower.
Well that's a bummer. Do you happen to know how long they lasted? I'm asking because I just replaced the botched diy pads with the upsiren ones and the haven benchmark results were the same - meaning I did an excellent job before, or the upsiren pads of 0.75 and 1.25 are no good for this GPU.
@@jackalldiytech INNO3D RTX 3060 Ti OC D6 8GB TWIN X2 LHR Is this the right one? UPSIREN 21w It certainly increases the temperature by more than 10 degrees when working with 0.75 and 1.25 MM
Yes, this is the GPU. From what I remember my GPU was always a bit hot. But I did not see any difference after installing the pads, granted they are just a day old so not much could have happened to them.
Hi there! Most thermal pads are built using silicone which is super soft and compresses easily, at the place of 0.75mm pads you can use a 1mm thermal pad which has high conductivity around 12 wmk or so, it'll compress and become around 0.75mm.
I tried testing again today but failed. The upsiren 21w 0.75mm thermal pads is shoreC 50~65 = Shore00 100+ , so it hardens when compressed to a certain extent. So it doesn't compress anymore.
Hi friend from another continent, I just bought it and now I have it in my hands, the truth is that it is quite good, good image, sharp, do you have any recommendations? I lowered the brightness to 80% In my country for the same price there was also the MSI PRO MP243XW, but there was not much difference, and everyone I asked recommended LG, so I went for this one, plus your video was quite good. I am quite happy with this monitor, although I will have to get used to the size, since I use it on a 14-inch notebook and the change is gigantic xD
Hello Javier. I can only imagine what a big difference in size it is. As for my recommendation, it would have to be the colour accuracy. The cheapest way to adjust a monitor is to take a piece of white paper and put it over/besides the panel, then lower the R,G,B values until it is close to the paper white. Also, only lower the RGB values by a few points, as that will give you the best result.
no way, those few scratches will cause your CPU to overheat. Its more important that the surface is not warped / bent.
Thanks for the information, much appreciated
