Being part musician and part lost soul, music has always been my main outlet for creation, self-expression and realization.
This channel will be a landing pad for my personal works as well as videos of any other musical projects I am involved in.

Beautiful. It was already a wicked solo, but you turned it up a notch! This kicks ass
Thanks man! Fun revisiting this. I was totally going to do the solo note for note, but I was never 100% happy with what I laid down for the album. Always thought the ending could have been better. Went to record the other night and that came out. Basic pentatonic rock flare, but man.. fun to play!
Also... I tried my damndest to translate your drumming to midi... sorry if that was hard to listen to. I have no idea at all what madness you're doing on the toms in the beginning. I gave a best guess for that 😄
@@JonathanSterling86 It's a perfect balance of old and new, still has the soul of the the original solo (or soulo, if you will) but elevated. I really like the ending, that's a good way to wrap up a quick minute jam. That tom section was the first thing I noticed! I think you nailed it, it sounds spot on to me.
@BruceBonebrake is that snare-kick-kick right? It's like this gallop I think you were doing off the 1 beat. If I never said it... it's incredible lol
@@JonathanSterling86 Something like that! It's one of those that sounds more complicated that it really is because of how fast-paced it is. I believe you actually had this drum part almost down at one point, I remember you learning it on the electronic kit long ago while it was at your place for a while.
I like the MPK261 also a lot but mine now shows key problems. I already took it apart and cleaned the key contacts. However, after that the problem is still not solved! Do you have any suggestions how to solve it?
Sad to see how little attention A Meeting With Destiny gets since it wasn't in the SNES version. One of my favorites from the ost
I just did a romhack adding it to the SNES version as Lucca's theme. I also added 11 other songs that weren't in the SNES version. I'm hoping to draw more attention to these great songs.

good morning friend, I just got mk2 49, but I don't know how to configure the sustain pedal, it gives the sustain but I have to press the pedal twice to sustain the notes and not just once as is normal, if you can help me I will be grateful
Think you might have a trigger peddle not a sustain?😊
Is there a polarity switch on the bottom of your pedal? If there is, try it in the other position.

I am looking to buy one too, but I have second thoughts because I can’t play piano and I can’t use a daw. Sure I can find an instrument and play with it, but I can’t mix and do things that would make everything sound better. Do I need to look somewhere else? This keyboard looks a bit complicated. I have an electric piano that I hooked to my computer to play with Logic Pro, but I would like a controller.
Hi Marian. I recently bought this MPK 249, it is a very nice keyboard to use and play on but if you want to save some money you just need any midi keyboard with some knobs to control your DAW. That done me for years

This song made me think about something that escaped me... I had to dig to remember where I felt this before when listening to your piece. It was introduced to me a couple years ago in my first-ever class in music introduction at the university; Vocaloid, where Vocaloid was introduced as as music in the arts of world music where we learned mostly about historical music in Africa, Morocco, and India. Yes :) What made me think of that piece, *[VOCALOID Original Song] Half-Life [AVANNA]* was that you make your piece "sing", as does the sound of the Vocaloid Software "sing" like an actual voice. You obviously have a good ear. I bet you could do wonders with Vocaloid software. There are so many crap Vocaloid enthusiasts, but some real artists like this one I shared. Great work, again. Really enjoyed your work!
I just got my MPK 261 and don't know Jack about it... but you have something really nicer her. Love it. I mainly got this to practice my piano separate from my Yamaha P255... but find this a really *hit piano. I wanted to chuck it, well give it back to the store, but looking for more reasons why to hold on to it. Listening to stuff like this though...
Is this something you can play from the actual keyboard or is it all from software? I'm a guitar player who is new to recording and I want to have some ambient backgrounds in my songs but I don't want to have to DL more plugins. I'd like to have a controller that has sounds included but not knowing anything about it isn't helping lol.
It should be plugged in a computer via an USB Port, and a music software as Fruity Loops or Ableton etc in order to be able to switch from an intrument to another or from a specific sound to another
