There's only six locations left of this 80s fast food restaurant...eating at Rax Roast Beef
Rax Roast Beef was a popular fast food chain in the 80s and 90s, now there are only six locations remaining in 2024. I wanted to give it a shot and see if the nostalgia stacks up.

Thats crazy how could he have acumulated all of that super old stuff guess he did not balance his inventory well thats just crazy all that was worth tens of thousands or more but now its pretty much worthless he could recover maybe 20% but it will take so long to sell all of that

yeah, it is a shame that all that stuff couldn't have been utilized more throughout the years. He is having an auction in July so hopefully some of it will go to a better home! Thanks you for watching!

Looking at the web site I see the prices are quite high. With the amount of stock I see in this video even if the prices had been drastically reduced he would still have made more money by actually selling something. So much stock, such high prices. Too much stuff, do something with it.

@@gordonwelcher9598 The problem is 1. few people really know about the place, and 2. Most of the stuff isn't really that desirable anymore. Sure, I guess there are components inside a lot of this equipment that people could want but they have to take it apart to get to those parts. They aren't going to pay $250 for a big item to get a smaller item that's useful. I've bought stuff there only because it was cool. I have no use for it. I bought a German radiation detector a few months ago just for the heck of it. The most useful items they sold (to me) were the vacuum tubes but they are all gone now. I'll miss this place for sure.

@@gordonwelcher9598 Also if you go there these days, so close to closing, those prices are not reality. You can haggle. There is way too much stuff on the website to price change now. Why bother?
