I got bored one day so put the orchestral parts onto logic. Sounds pretty kl. Leave some comments and let me know what you think

Defying Gravity Performed by Rachel Tucker & Sarah Earnshaw on The night performance of the 24/11/10. P.S. Sound is bad at the beginning but gets better after the first 10 sec.

Rachel Tucker performing No Good Deed on the night performance of the 24/11/10. She was immense, belting top E's an F's. Truly Great Performance
Also the fucking DRUMMER....?! incredible
HOLY DAMN. I just wanted to jump up and applaud after that Fiyero riff! HOLY HELL.
Seeing this legend live in September. Thank goodness ;)
I see what you did there haha! Me too!! I timed my trip in order to see her! :P
Saw her again last friday, she is STILL amazing! IMHO the best Elphaba!
+WarmCoffeee RIGHT!!💜👌 I was at the 10th anniversary last night and she killed it as always!! There was a standing ovation after Defying Gravity! So lucky to have witnessed it!!😍
Carrie Rose omg i was there too!!!! i literally cried so much during defying gravity it was so insane. wish she'd done the fiyero high note in no good deed:') either way though, best performance ive ever seen and probably will see!!
I am still recovering from how amazing that performance was!! Feel so lucky to have been there!! <3 Yeah I really wish that too! but I guess she acts/sings it differently every time, nether the less it was still perfect!
I CANNOT I CANNOT I CANNOT
Can you add that I hope you're happy part and then the vamp where the guards come on and then starting with it's not her
WHY DID NO ONE APPLAUD FOR THE FIYERO RIFF????
Because British audiences are incredibly respectful and will wait until somebody has finished a performance before applauding?!
Yeah, I mean imagine trying to listen to the riff and the whole audience is applauding?
Emily Louxo there have been multiple times has happened in the uk
3.12- end :O
OH MY GOD I can't handle that Fiyero riff. And the ending. WOW. WOW.
heard this again after a while now.. her growl on GONNA bring me... WOW! she's one of the most amazing and talented Elphabas ever.
I loved the "FIYERO" Riff!! XD
I beg to differ. Idina is one of the best actors to play in Broadway. What baffles me is that most of the people here dont know the difference between good singing and good acting. Whats the importance of being a great singer if your acting skills are just shit? Would you ever be accepted to play? No.
Well given the fact that she played the role for five years, has been in many straight plays, and has been praised by many critics for her acting as well as her singing, I would say that she can act.
Wow. just wow.
That was AHMAZING!!!!!
One Elphaba who hates that long wig.
???
That was absolutely incredible
Wow that riff :O she's really good!
I'm not Rachel's biggest fan but even I can say that when you see her live her voice goes right through you and gives you shivers. It's pretty incredible.
just heard this for the first time and gave me goosebumps! omg i saw wicked on tuesday and louise dearman was elphaba and was amazing but this was wayyy better love rachel ! x
you really have to expearience her live she penetrates your soul with her voice...literally you are heartless if you arent left awestruck at the end of defying gravity or no good deed
This is perfect ahhhhh
Hands down the most unique singer of "no good deed" That crazy fierrooooo is just too much. It's incredible. I heard this in the theatre and Rachel Tucker's voice goes through you're heart and gives you goosebumps. My favourite Elphaba EVER! (i've seen 5 different elphabas). Paired together with Louise Dearman as Glinda (who's now playing Elphie in London) was jusT magic...breathatking singing..!
As much as I adore Idina, this is by far my favorite version of No Good Deed. You can hear all the emotion in her voice, and her "Fiyero"! Omiword, I get these chills
That ENDING. And, this audience was so weak, man.
She's had baby now - He's gorgous!!!! =D
God those growls "Gggggrrrrooooowwwssss Unpunished" =D
Not only is Rachel freaking amazing, she also looks very good green (not all Elphabas look good in green). I hope she comes back to this role; I'm dying to see her play it.
fuck she is amazing!
This is why Rachel Tucker IS Elphaba. If they ever do a movie adaptation, THEY BETTER CHOOSE RACHEL.
i will sing like her one day, and i will play the role of Elphaba.
When I want chills... This is what I listen to. I aspire to sing like her. One day.
She was probably on holiday! Actresses deserve a break every so often just as much as everyone else! Can you imagine how hard it must be to perform 8 shows a week, especially with a role like Glinda which is so vocally demanding!
Wow ... Chills at 2:10, at 2:44, at 3:14, at ..... WELL, EVERYWHERE. Glad to see some Jemma Rix fans down there too! She was my first Elphaba :)
she's 6 months pregnant
why is rachel leaving?
I saw Willemijn play the role in Dutch a couple of months ago. I really liked her in the role. Anyone looking for her singing in German watch?v=qCUInhl56wY In Dutch watch?v=y4umAt9HDoI
like :)
I never said I was a professional. And you can try to teach someone to sing but if they don't have a natural voice they'll never be as good as people like Idina and Rachel.
besides, Rachel's singing is amazing.
so you guys are all professionals but have never heard of singing classes? you know, they exist, and I'm pretty sure they teach you how to sing in singing classes, because well hints the name.
louise dearman is replacing her!!!!
OMG LOL
Sorry about the misspells. *come *equal
I'm in musical theatre and I personally don't think that the acting should comje first. Everything should be equally. My aunts a a director and my cousin's and opera singer in New York. They both say that you can teach anyone to act and dance, but you can never teach someone to sing. You can try to train their voices but overall if your a bad singer it'll never work. That's why I think Rachel and Idina are both so amazing. They incorporate both their amazing voice and acting into their work.
I know, right??
Why are the top two comments not even about Rachel? That's depressing.
You should, that's true, but, as an actor, the acting does come first. I'm not claiming that an actor should be a single threat, she/he should be able to do it all and well, but...to make a song like this powerful and mean as much as it does and make an audience member understand the pain or the hurt of the anger, they have to be an actor. The truth is, there should be some differences between the two. Truth be told, some of the best are pitchy and strange, but you simply believe it.
Urgh! That Riff!!!! <3 <3 <3
The thing to remember with musical theatre is that the theatre is supposed to come first. If they can play the part well, like Idina and Rachel really did, then they did their job. The singing should be believable, not just sound nice. That's the important thing to remember about any theatre-are they convincing? That's an actors point of view anyway.
Thanks for the upload! I'm performing this song (along with Defying Gravity) at a concert tomorrow night, and Rachel Tucker is the Elpheba I saw when I went to see Wicked last year. Before then I was certain I wanted to be a film actor, but now I'm not so sure... saw her and was like *MUST.....BE.....ON.....WEST......END!!!* lol :P Really annoys me that all the video footage has been taken down, because now I can't watch different ones to draw from... -.-
ooooooo. wow! well she deserves to be. :)
