It looks like switch still has limited performance both in visuals and frame rate. I got Vengeance on PS5 and the difference is noticeable, 60 fps and better visuals, It should be the same on PC if not better depending on your setup. If you can afford the game without breaking the bank then you should definitely buy it on either console or PC, whether you want a physical or digital copy of the game.

Well, you're not wrong.

There are two stories. The Canon of Creation which was the original story in SMT V and the Canon of Vengeance which is the new story for this game, both of them are standalone so they're not connected in any way. If you haven't played SMT V go for the Canon of Creation, if you have play the Canon of Vengeance. Regardless, you can pick what ever story that interest you.

There's supposedly a harder difficulty called True Zenoiran after you complete the game once which introduces permadeath. Hopefully, that adds a bit more of a challenge.

dude,your wrong. story mode is easiest mode. it's not the hard mode in the game. You need to beat the game once to get the hardest mode in the game. Stop spreading mis-info

I have seen some people wanting the combat system to be turn based instead of it being automatic, but in my opinion that isn't a bad thing especially when you can customise your characters skills with tactics which I believe adds depth to the combat. I can't say much about the story since I didn't want to spoil myself too much, but the demo only covers one of the five nations so there's room for the story to develop. The only problem I think might happen is that majority of the characters will not be flesh out, albeit some characters will have certain interactions depending on their rapport. I don't blame you if you wait for a sale, you'll be able to see how the game pans out and make your decision then.

Hopefully we get an Hotel Dusk remake later down the line regardless of sale, it's definitely the most wanted series out of CING's library.

Yeah, Hotel Dusk was designed for the DS, but if Another Code somehow got a remake there might be a chance that Hotel Dusk can get one too. I think the biggest challenge will be preserving the rotoscoping sprites.

@@jevdaninja as someone who played trace memory on ds, the switch demo for it wasn't really that impressive to me :/ its great that it happened at all to reach a wider audience but it didn't have the same charm. i'd imagine if hotel dusk had a remake it would be a very similar formula to another code recollection. no matter what, the original will always be superior.

A bit of a shame you didn't enjoy the demo of Recollection. In my opinion, I think Arc System did a good job on the remake I've only played two memories though since I haven't played the second game originally. It does have its faults though there are some changes in the story and puzzles that are different to the original. I understand why you think the original is always superior, at the end of the day a remake is a remake.

​@ViraRiva I feel if they can keep the rotoscoping art style, it'd be a big help! I personally feel that an art style like the game Chase cold case investigation's would work perfectly! As long as the keep the sketch book feel. I'm curious did you ever try the full game of another code recollection? Apparently, most people who found the demo to be disappointing really enjoyed the full game!

Yeah, you're right it was just some wishful thinking.

Yeah, I had to choose whether to buy Infinite Wealth or Reload. I end up buying Reload cause I know both games are big time commitments and I doubt I would complete Infinite Wealth in time. Also, Tekken 8 came out the same day as Infinite Wealth which I've been playing in the meantime. It's an crazy amount of releases this month, I got my eyes set for Unicorn Overlord in March but February got some releases like you said FF7 and Granblue. Anyways, I hope you enjoy Reload. Persona 3 was the breakthrough of the series and foundation for 4 and 5, you're in for an experience.

Yeah, all of these games are games you'd slowly play for a long time and after years of disappointing big games, here's many at once that are all amazing, seemingly from demos and people who played them, they run well and with no or minimal bugs :D Once you get to Infinite Wealth, you won't regret it! Thanks, I've already pre-ordered it last week, seems like totally my thing and wish I played the original back then, just tough time to juggle between them and job, great time to be single lol

I can see that, the PS2 had a great library of games and I believe the PS3 was released a few months before Hotel Dusk. Anyways, it's as good a time as any to check this game out if you haven't.

Definitely, even if it doesn't perform well I'm happy that we got an Another Code remake in the first place.

Had the privilege of picking myself up a copy at the Nintendo Store Tokyo a few months ago on a trip. I hope Hotel Dusk gets a remake.

I do plan on making a video about the sequel at some point, however I don't know when that video will be out. Currently working on other videos at the moment, so it all depends on what's happening later down this year and if I eventually get around to it.
