Home Slot Car Track, should be 4 lanes but I don't have enough room in my apartment. This will fit on a 6 by 8 foot table, I would like to make it a 6 by 12, giving you a nice long straight away

Well cars are to fast track is very nice take a look at cars over at os3 or tjets i run #4 New track with a auto world Bluetooth terminal so now i can walk around the track but All in All very nice layout thanks for letting me see it have fun and the rest of you guys you sound white with the DAM ? Build and you will see what he did.

What “set” is it and what are the dimensions or how he plywood or pool table you got it sitting on can you also do a video how made it from start to finish
AFX Super International, I perches 2 sets for extra pieces.. Go to BRS HOBBIES, Slot car table in a afternoon, it will show you with dimensions how to build a 4×8 table which is what I have in the video.... Good luck... Hope this was helpful... Thanks for stopping by....

@@BeatMasterDrewism Oh, you're in N.Y. I'm in St.louis, been racing since the 60's. I've got ALL KINDS of cars from each era... I've got a 100 ft. 8 lane boxed , wife won't let me put it back up. But Im gonna. Used to have the biggest 8 lane in the Black n the Black neighborhood back in the 70's.....
Hi Beat, this is an awesome layout and from what I read in the comments this is what i gathered: 1. you used a custom table that is 4x8 2. You have used the AFX Super international race set with a few extra pieces ,15" Straight, 12" curve, and 9" curve (Quantity unknown, someone may have mentioned 25 extra pieces) 3. The perimeter is a black meshed plastic deer fence which is cheap ($20 for 100' in home depot), how did you attack it to the table? I like it cause the track is more visible this way. So my questions for you are: (if you don't mind) 1. What type of table top did you buy for your track? (the paint is sticking to it nicely so it's not plywood) 2. Did you have to do anything different with the controller wires or are they the stock controllers with no modifications? 3. Are you using some type of lap counter such as Race Coordinator? Hey man thanks for stopping by, the table I built the best I could, the site no longer exist, but there are many sites online with good methods on how to build a good track. 4×8 the top of the table is sound proofing board help keep track sound down and smooth track placement.....
The controllers are Parma, hooked up to a power hack to boost track power...
The mesh fencing around the table is stapled to the outer 2×4 and the ones around the track are glued to the guardrail... Ok I hope this help have fun racing....

Hey thanks for stopping by, I'm not sure of the exact specs but it is the International set with extra 15 St 12 C and 9 C, the main thing for your set up is having enough power taps... Have fun and enjoy racing.....😎

It's hard to say, extra 15 st8 15 curves and 12 curves, I am always making new setups so it's hard to remember...

Should work. Will be a challenge to keep them in the slot. Modern power packs have more power. Go On And Try.

Any ho slot car will run on AFX track. HOWEVER, the controllers that come with the Mega G+ cars really don't work well for anything other than Mega G+ cars. The 120 ohm controllers that come with the new sets act like an on-off switch for the older cars. If you want to run other cars (tyco, life-like or non Mega G+), the old AFX 80 ohm controllers work pretty well. They look just like the 120 ohm, except they're grey. You shouldn't have any trouble finding them on ebay for under $10.
