Why do you have to repeat part of the narrative it's so ridiculous.

Another stupid stupid stupid story where an OPcouldn't take up for herself yet again. It's too bad that none of these narrators can come up with a good story they're all pieces of crap.

I heard a story about a MIL who was known for wearing a white gown to all her kids weddings. The girl that was going to marry this annoying old woman's youngest son wasn't going to argue or fuss about it but she did request that everyone coming to her wedding wear white (unbeknownst to the MIL) They were even encouraged to wear their wedding dresses if they wanted to. The bride wore a stunning blue ballgown. The MIL looked like everyone else and the bride sparkled in the blue gown and sapphire jewelry.

As an answer to her SIL original text, OP should have sent “If you show up in white you will either be refused entry, or someone will “accidentally” spill red wine on you. Your choice”. And to Ethan… “If your fiancé shows up in white, YOU will be denied entry too.”

Vanessa is a narcissist nut job, wish your brother luck he will need it. Cutting ties with her is the only wzy to go and your brother since he takes your side.

You were not wrong! She was!! You really need to have a conversation with your parents and then your brother about his choice of future wife! This will only be the beginning of constant strife with woman in all of your lives! She's a narcissist and desperate for attention. Who shows up at an elegant event and screams and throws a tantrum at the top of her voice when she can't get her own way and was told what happened would happen?! Tell your brother to run! Run fast! Don't look back! She'll either alienate him from everybody or beat him down to a shell of the man he was before he met her and he'll be miserable. Save him the time, money, and energy, and a divorce! Tell him to either make her get some help or get out!

Knowing what kind of pick me bish Vanessa is why didn’t OP just make a post tagging everyone who was coming to the wedding stating ANYONE wearing white to OP’s wedding would not be allowed entrance & the reason for the post is because Vanessa is trying to wear a wedding dress to OP’s wedding? Why didn’t anyone go throw something messy on Vanessa’s dress? I know my petty self would have done all of the above up to and including throwing hands because I am not the one & I don’t take disrespect like that. & what is wrong with OP’s brother Ethan? He’s just as bad as Vanessa. Hopefully OP goes NC with her brother and Vanessa because they are going to try and turn all of OP’s pivotal milestones into competitions because they’re jealous of her and want to steal & ruin all her moments. This probably isn’t the first time Vanessa & Ethan have pulled some bs at an event about OP either and while her parents didn’t back the AH’s they also didn’t do anything to stop them & they could have which is very telling about that family’s dynamics.

Why do I suspect this is India? I've heard my share of crazy family stories from my Indian student friends and later coworkers. This Aunt B was a piece of work. But we Americans have our share of Aunt Bs as well.

A restraining order should be issued against Aunt Bee. She needs some major therapy as she is out of control in her manipulative behaviour. I would have gone no contact as soon as she started interfering in the lives of her nieces wedding and ruining her wedding dress. She should have been charged with destroying it.

Grandma wasn't helping she was a MAJOR enabler!! And unless she was paying a significant part of the bills. After the laptop destruction, I would have gotten their luggage packed dropped the kids off at my SIL workplace and told my Mom unless she wanted to have them take care of her, keep her opinions to herself.

Here we go again making these stories stupid. How does a bee person has been a manipulative awful pushing her daughter's agenda person from the very beginning of the story. Got so bad everybody knew exactly how she was and most people cut ties with her. As usual people who know better still let her back in their lives so she could prove she changed (haha). Okay everything went down and what happened? They start getting calls going. What the hell did you do and them saying what happened? Why did you do this? Why are you being cruel to aunt Bee and daughter? Everyone has always known how manipulative this person is and they put up with it. When I finally gets to a point where everyone knows it and they're just not going to take care of anymore they kind of cut her off. And she comes back being nice and everybody goes oh let's give her another chance even though we know she's manipulative witch. She pulls his crap and everybody questions the couple not the source of the problem always? This is what makes these stories stupid. Or the OP and or everybody. The couples should have automatically been backed up no matter. Just the way they used to back up Aunt Bee no matter what. I was halfway enjoying the story but not anymore.

The spoiled aunt is so lucky that that car accident wasn't worse. Th gasoline could have caused an even worse accident. Also that accident meant that she didn't get charged with attempted murder and arson.

That kind of behavior would be corrected really fast in my house.... Or sis and her husband can Kick Rocks..... I'm from the Old School Gangster where if kids are disrespectful and disruptive they get a severe spanking and no it's not Child ABUSE. Kids have to be taught about the Consequences of their own behavior and choices. It's Called ACCOUNTABILITY.
