It will do 14-17 Km/ L but it's meter shows L / 100 km so people think it is doing 6 or 8 which is actually 6-8 liter / 100 Km that comes to same 14-17 Km range if you do some maths , I think if you compare with Toyota Vitz and Suzuki cultus with 1000 cc engine and Automatic Gear it is about the same average rather better , only the Manual transmission Picanto and Cultus only does better about 18-19 Km / L as they are 5 speed manual I hope this clarifies, Pakistani people are confused with Liter / 100 Km Europeans mileage criteria in Picanto , rest of KiA models you can change the meter to KM / Liter in the meter via setting change in sportage and Sorento....

Yes 12-15 KM / liter in city and High way it is 17-20Km / liter , if the Car engine condition is good and wheel alignment is good , and excessive load is not in car , and serviced car and driven with Light foot and not driven in High RPM like above 3000 as some people do , good driving lt should be around 2000 rpm while changing gears and never exceed above 3000 rpm , inshallah your mileage will increase try and let me know of results, change fuel pump as some pumps are stealing petrol always check guage as zero before they put the petrol in your car and also change to a better pump if mileage is bad , never idle the car and let engine running for long if stationary
