Firewind, a Greek band that formed in Thessaloniki in Macedonia (Greece) in 1998 featuring guitar virtuoso Gus G. After a few lineup changes throughout the years, they still retain that signature Firewind sound of power metal with great melodic sounds as well the old heavy metal traditions. Not a huge catalog by any means but compared to other bands with more longevity, they still have a nice c...

Spot on with the Sinner there best by far forgot to mention used to the truth another good tune.
Hello there Kev. Good to see you again. I have been trying to keep up with all of your videos. But it has been challenging. Who would you compare the band Storace's music to if anyone? Also. Is the UFO an official release? It kind of has a bootleg vibe to it. Another fine update. Interesting pickups. You surely know your hard rock and metal~ Rob/Boston
I'm slightly familiar with Edguy and Sinner, but not sure I've heard of any of the others. All sound like great projects. So many great metal bands out there, so hard to keep up :)
I thank you for the support for 97 underground enjoy seeing that shirt and I do help out that station with some local stuff. Love the channel and pickups. Can't wait to see more updates
I just ordered the Storace album. You always cost me money. Lol. Also, that More album is great.
Love the shirt
Love that Halford album.
Weird. I just picked up Ballistic Sadistic on cd. I didn't know I was getting the limited edition lenticular cover, so that was a bonus.
I know what you mean about Dave Padden’s vocals, they do grow on you. Metal 2007 & Annihilator 2010 are the best out of the 5 he was on. Some great picks this episode 🤘 Take care Kevin
@@darcysixstringsninelives3493 I just couldn't think of Dave's name. Hate those brainfarts.....! Ha ha.
Been blasting a lot of Helloween lately. I don't have that album but I have several of their albums. Primal Fear is killer. Probably be showing them soon in a video. Great 6 pack.
Outstanding band and a very cool collection, Cheers
You can’t go wrong with that live Scorpions album. Most of my favourite live albums are older, just like me ha ha. Great 6 pack Kevin 🤘
Kevin, amazing collection. Its increible because i just bought a bluray by the band and this morning i made a video about it and will post it tomorrow. And just now i see that you posted two Blue Oyster Cult videos. Will watch them now. Cool you saw them already in the 70s. That must have been amazing.
@@holspa I've seen them in every decade since I saw them in 1976.
@@KevinKohlhase Thats just great. I never seen them live, just on dvd or bluray lol and always great.
Curious if you been up to Hawley at the Spin Depot.
@@domincweber9363 I have not stopped there.
As above
Thanks for the upload.
Hello I'm new 😊
@@stephen-truthseeker welcome.
Tommy Bolin - Champion and Legend Thanks for posting
I love that D.A.D album, favourite tracks are Makin’ Fun Of Money & Laugh ‘N A Half. Very good Great White album. Do you have more than one of those Firepower cassettes? Great episode Kevin 🤘
@@darcysixstringsninelives3493 sorry no just the one.
@@KevinKohlhase I keep an eye out for Invincible Shield cassette for you.
@@darcysixstringsninelives3493 Awesome, that be great.
Wow. Glad to hear your sister is doing a little better. Take a look at the Petra 50 vinyl. Gorgeous color vinyl. I think you’ll like the Come and Join Us LP. It’s very organic 70s rock. If you like it, definitely pick up the first album from Girder too. It rocks a little harder and is from 1974.
Good news about your sister. So glad the medical marijuana is helping you. It helps me immensely.
Played the hell out of that Nazareth album or 8 track back then also, Silver dollar forger loved that tune
Nothing better then the metal archives use it daily
Jay Reynolds is still with us i believe
You need to get the rest of the Savage catalog
@@akirasolo57 I have them all.
That Anthrax LP is certainly the weirdest looking one I've ever seen. The band name isn't even on the Front of the Album, and much of the cover is in White. It must be a bootleg. I've got the same official CD version: Fistful of Metal & Armed & Dangerous EP, as 2 Separate CDs!
Manimal a fav of mine
Check out the Omen from hungary that is some heavy stuff
Love the Angel Witch and Budgie
Ufo force it nothing better then that one my #1 from that year well Scorpions In Trance was also #1 ,year i graduated high school.
Angel kinda went soft and was hard to listen to in there later albums imo lol
Axis also a superb album,Danny Johnson also played with Derringer before that lp
Dude you are so me thru the years were same age and yes that Yesterday & Today was a mind blower when ya first heard it
Easily the heaviest album from Trooper great album
Check out Tony Martin with guitarist Dario Mollo called the cage there are 3 cds by them,And guitarist Aldo Giuntini its called Giuntini project there are 4 cds
Amazon Canada is hit and miss with AFM vinyl, I don’t even bother anymore, I order directly from AFM. The shipping is a kick to the nuts but at least you know you’ll get your product.
i lucked out on that vinyl Darc thanks again Bro
Nice HELLOWEEN one. Cool shirt too.
Thanks brother.
Great episode! Love that Annihilator album, both albums with Joe on vocals are great! It’s going on 3 years since e•a•r music announced the reissues, I’d like to know what in the f#%k is the hold up! Love your T-shirt, love Primal Fear & yes just 2 guitarists. Magnus Karlsson still there & new to the band is Thalìa Bellazecca. Can’t wait for the new one called Domination, should be early 2025. Same with Grave Digger Bone Collector, January 2025.
Thanks for sharing Aftermath
Great video! And im a huge purple fan and i would put Come taste the band in their top 3 best ever! It is a corker of a record! I just wish he would have sang a song or 2 on it (besides couple lines in The dealer)
Also you have a AMAZING Tommy Bolin archives cd collection!!!!!! I have 3 of them you showed. Also do you have any of the Dr.John /Tommy Bolin sessions??
@@stevekosak8624 no on Dr. John.
@KevinKohlhase there is a you tube clip with dr john & Tommy called stick with me and there are sessions also. Check it out!
I do not have any of that. @stevekosak8624
Great video! I appreciate your passion for Tommy! I was a late bloomer when it came to Tommy i got into him around 1990. And have everything he has done and its a nice chunk !! Especially sadly in a short time. He is in my top 5 as guitarist are concerned! Really dig your channel just subbed cheers!
@stevekosak8624 Thank you for liking my channel.
Agree with ya on vocals for death metal i dont get it
Arjen was in Bodine before Vengeance
Ezo nice Yamada and homma went on to play with Loudness for awhile
That Bodine album was the best to come out of the early 80s scene
Fireforce great band
Good pickup with that Henry Paul
Love that Hot Tuna
