Not necessarily, once you reach a point you can defeat the boss who is not part of the story of the main game but is optional, that boss gives you access to the dlc, once you enter the dlc and continue with the story of the dlc you can unlock that area. If you want I could make a video explaining it!

Yes, the palace is probably faster since grace is nearby, but here you should accumulate many more runes since in the dlc the various enemies should give more runes when they die!

because it is a boss weapon (dlc) and you can put any kind of war ash in it, even poison, and its alteration level is high, also there is another thing that can be done with this weapon and I think that I will post a separate video👍😎
