THE VOLKS GROUP MEMORIAL DAY MAYHEM
Back at the beach! As far as venues go, Samoa is up there as one of the coolest tracks we have ever been to. We had our work cut out for us this weekend on the Battle Born car. From clutch to suspension issues and everything in between. The Barnacle is finally heading in the right direction but as you'll see in the video, Drew had his fair share of issues to work through as well.

With both drivers coming off of a win, we went to Redding in hopes of putting both J. Bros. cars in the final round of Heavy. Unfortunately, things didn't pan out the way we had hoped.

The goal for this Bugorama weekend was to better the 8.67 from earlier this season in Redding. Although we didn't better it this time, the car was on rails and ran a string of 8.70s. Nothing beats a weekend at the track with good racing and great friends!

The Battle Born car was on rails on weekend running a string of 5.63s, but this goes to show that it isn't always the fastest car that wins the race. With the help of Tony Klink and Travis Barnes, Drewski would go on to take home his first Heavy class win, and run his first 5 second pass!

After facing issues in Sacramento, we worked on the Battle Born car right up until the day of the event. Both Jason and Drewski would make forward progress on their cars this weekend which paid off with the two pairing up in the final round of Heavy class competition.

If Murphy's law was a racing team, we would be a shoe in for the position. From a broken axle, and camshaft in the Battle Born car, to a no start for the Barnacle in the Pro Mod semi finals, we had a hell of a go at it during Bugorama #87.

A recap of Bugorama #85 for team J Bros. Drewski converted the Barnacle to EFI over the winter and made the jump from Pro Turbo to Pro Mod. This is the first outing with the new setup.
