absolutely wonderful. gorgeous, full voice, very musical, and very expressive. A delight for the heart and ears.
What's the rush?? Pianist sometimes in his own little performance!
❤️
Could you please send me a copy of the music? I absolutely adore this song and I’ve wanted to do a cover of this song
Hi Jack! Unfortunately, I could never find sheet music for this song. I listened to the cast recording over and over and learned it by ear.
Hi could you email me the instrumental?
Ms. Kieffer is my music teacher at school!
Great balance of technique and vulnerability! One of the best versions I've heard and I'm a big fan of this piece.
Le agilità sono pesanti, il vibrato troppo presente, non adatto alle liriche da camera francesi, l' accompagnamento pianistico zappato!
Please share your version. I’d love to hear it!
I stumbled upon this while watching old clips of the Light in the Piazza. You're great!
Very Nice! Great!
Your voice is absolutely stunning
So pretty! I'm a freshmen at Carnegie Mellon right now studying voice and I'm singing this for jury next week!
Just beautiful!
Sounds beautiful. The audio and video aren't lined up by a lot...just thought you might want to know in case there's a way to fix it.
You cheeky girl you! ;) Was a pleasure watching you at Musicfest! Come to Toronto already!
Beautiful tone.
So great to see this acted and sung just as well as it's acted. Incredible, and breathtaking.
Beautiful!
Exceptional performance! Lovely, lovely voice!
Stunning performance (by both of you!)
Hello, Ashley! I would love to have your last name and hear you now...Beautiful voice.
Alisa kieffer is my music teacher
Her tone is lovely and her pitch is on point, but I'm not sure if I agree with her choice to use very modern English diction. Some words were pronounced more in the manner in which one would speak, which is typically avoided in classical and operatic singing. Still a very strong performance.
this is fabulous
Absolutely beautiful.
Stunning, you are extremely skilled!
I love this piece. Your interpretation was beautiful! Brava!!
@ariagirl2010 The rushed parts are because the pianist was playing too fast. All in all, this is one of the best renditions of this piece I ever heard. She totally deserves better micing and an orchestra.
Awesome job! This is amazing!
I want your voice. please tell me your going to college for Musical theatre of Music performance...if not ...my heart just broke.
Fellow soprano here. She sounds gorgeousssss
*sounds*, sorry
@coloratura21 Wait a minute, I think I know what recording you listened to. You need to go back and listen to Fleming sing it again and ignore the background noise. She does get a little tense on the high B-flat, but other than that, it is absolutely great. Ashley Batten really does do a wonderful job portraying her character! I love the fact that she knows what she is singing about and her voice matches Laetitia PERFECTLY! I just don't think that she souds better than Mrs. Fleming though! :)
Absolutely phenomenal<3
um i just listened to flemming sing this and you are soooo much better chic keep it up!!!
gorgeous!
good performance, i love this song too. But i can't find the score of "The Fairies' Dance" by Head. Would you mind to send me the score ?
@roweman2 Thank you! Are you a voice major? I studied with Susanne Marsee my first three years and with Laura Knoop Very during my senior year.
@Trebleguy123 You're very kind. Thank you!
beautiful voice!!!
This is beautiful! Beautiful artistry as well!
GREAT job!!
@classicalbk It was during the spring semester of my junior year. Thanks for watching!
hey boo this was in my suggested videos feed and i didn't realize it was you till like 15 secs in. awesome job! miss you hope everything is well piers
To clarify my first statement - one of the best soprano renderings of Amorosi miei giorni :)
This is by far one of the better soprano performances posted on TH-cam. However, and this is only my opinion and not meant to demean your performance; this is marked pp and Larghetto amoroso (very soft, and slowly in a soft and tender style) at the beginning, and Andante con espansione at "Poter cosi" - at least in my edition - so to me, it seems rushed. Nevertheless, Brava!
yessssss, beautiful
Beaufiful Voice! This is very nice singing. Keep on singing!
YOu are amazing!!! I really, really want to go to CMU for MT. Are you in their Musical Theatre program?
Beautiful voice, too bad I can not understand the words, it might be the acoustic of the theater do.
