Great Work Day in Historic North Platte Nebraska. This towns history goes back to the railroad expansion moving west. Little Chicago as it was once called was home to people like Al Capone and even western cowboy heroes like Buffalo bill cody. #western #lumberyard #northplatte
Tractor pull was interrupted by major hail storm

North Platte Nebraska tractor pull was a great evening show. Watched locals take there rigs out and put the pedal to the medal. All while a large hail storm built up an enormous break across the region and ultimately struck the crowd and drivers at the fairgrounds. This kind of storm totaled lots of vehicles and ultimately caused millions of dollars in crop damage. #nebraskastrong.

North Platte Nebraska 07/14/2023 tractor pull was stopped due to excessive flooding and massive hail stones destroying the entire parking lot of vehicles. incredibly lucky to have the awning as a cover while we were there. #nebraska #weather #mothernature

That was an awesome truck / tractor pull. Cracked me up to see the Tough Nebraskans stilting there in all that wind still watching. That hail did manage to get their attention though. Lightning had me nervous.
Gosh you're right! That wind whipped up the dust and sand in the air, so it stung the eyes and arms that were exposed.
Nature fights back for those exhaust smokers...absolutely unneccesary nowadays to polute the air with that smoke. There is enough technology to have lots of horsepower out of diesel without playing smokestack like 100years ago. Shame on all those polluters

I’m curious, what paint or colored peanut butter did you use for their paint? I assume it wasn’t actually real paint haha, def have to try
probably peanut butter with food coloring.
We used peanut butter on the outside for him to lick and spread the paint on the other side of the ziploc baggy on the floor! Glad everyone enjoys the video.

Why is he tied up. Does he live outside all the time? Or does he actually live in the house?
We dont have a fenced in backyard, so we use a chain and constantly shovel the platform outback for his paws. He loves being outside but by no means do we leave our boy outside allday!

We got a foot in places around town. Tuesday was a whopping 47 then by 4 pm it was 8 degrees and dropping. Luckily this cold is not around long.

The kitten was really hyper, we were never sure if it was from the wild. A friend gave it to the family. Who could resist her playfulness. She tortured the German Shepherd and our pitbull sweetie tremendously!
