Hello my name is Rob and welcome to my channel where I am capturing my journey exploring the outdoors whilst attempting to bag (summit) all of Scotlands 282 mountains over 3000 feet. I have found other youtubers extremely helpful for planning my mountain days and the challenge ahead and I hope my videos might help someone in the same way. Hope you enjoy the footage.

That video fantastic mate I’m just back in from doing it I wasn’t lucky enough to catch they views but I’m sure I’ll be back up soon enough 👍
@lauriecaldwell5527 Thanks for watching and commenting, Laurie. I hope you get to go back at some point for the views. This is still one of my favourite days on a mountain 🙌 thanks Rob
Brilliant wow
Cheers Andrew 👍 Hope your well 🙂
Glad you had good weather my last few trips up north the weather hasn’t been the best it does make a big difference take care mate
Wow, cracking day - those summit shots!
Thanks Rod 😊 it was a magical morning
Such a well-produced video! The shots are fantastic, and the scenery is absolutely mesmerizing. Epic shots!
Thank you very much Mario 👌🏼👍
Nice one Rob. Love those super early starts, although they can be a pain to prepare for with the body clock. Nice and cool on the ascent, hills to yourself, golden light and inversions. Good stuff.
Cheers Andy. Yeah glad this paid off. This trip has me thinking about doing more early starts or more drives up north the night before. Having a 3 year old at home, it would get me home a bit quicker and winning some browny points too 😂
Magic Rob 😎👌 Whit a day. 2.I need to return too. Saw jack
Was class mate. Definitely gave me the bug back 💪🏼👌🏼
Good stuff. Good to be back out on the hills.
Thanks Andy it felt great to be up there. Hope you are well 👍
Excellent views nice video

Hi David thanks very much 😀 I have subbed you back. Cheers Rob 👍
@SummitAboutScotland Cheers Rob I appreciate that mate 🫡🏔🤜🤛
A most enjoyable video. Good to see parts of the Cairngorms that are not usually seen on YT.
Hi there thanks for watching and the comment. I had noticed there wasn't a lot to find on youtube of this particular route so it gave me the push to give it a go 😅 Cheers Rob 👍
I might just have a go myself but living in Cornwall presents aproblem !!!@@SummitAboutScotland
@blairmacewancrosbie8646 Ah Cornwall is a lovely part of the country. I lived in Dorset until I was 12 👍 I guess that would make it a bit of a trip for you 😅
It would indeed..about a 1,300 mile round journey. I'm nearer to northern Spain than northern Scotland !!!!@@SummitAboutScotland
Which are the Brothers of Kintail?
Hi there ☺️ the 3 munro summits Sgùrr a Bhealaich Dheirg, Sàileag and Aonach Meadhoin are collectively known as the Brothers of Kintail 👍 cheers Rob
Never heard that; thanks.@@SummitAboutScotland
Nice light at the end with the sun rays.
The change in colours was simply stunning Andy. Thanks for watching and hope your well 👍
Nice drone flight, and the hike looked great too. Thanks for taking me along. Liked and subscribed
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Craig. Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers Rob 👍
Anytime! @@SummitAboutScotland
Magic drone footage Rob. 😎👍 Some day it turned oot. Aye best just doing the brothers n sisters separate. Take your time & enjoy. Yur mates a machine. 😉
Cheers mate. I had the walk back to the start to add but he summited the full 5 and still finished about the same time as me 😬🤣 worked out well though 👍
Nice video mate, looking at doing this with a wilcamp down at the bridge 😊
Hi Tam hope you are well. Thanks for watching mate. I actually remember thinking to myself what a cracking place to camp when I came back down 👍 cheers Rob
Hello, thank you for the wonderful video, beautiful place, I enjoyed spending time with you, friendly like, come visit, I will be very happy, good luck and all the best, have a nice evening🤗🤗🥰🥰🤗🤗
Hi pal, great footage here, looks a very good route! I’ve yet to go to The Cairngorms. Strong effort 💪🏻💪🏻 Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Kieran 👍 it is a good route tbh. We got the route from the steve fallon website. Longish day but worth it 😍 thanks Rob
Some cracking drone footage there Rab. 👍 I fancy a return to this Hill in winter. I mind I did it when the whole country was basking in an inversion. Apart fae this one. Could see the blue sky above me. 🙄😏
Alright mate 👍 aye tbh I had this one on my list to get into winter hiking but after doing the 4 at macdui the day before we changed plan last min to do this as was an easier option than the other 2 we were going to do. I was gubbed 🤣🤣
Hi mate, do you remember how long it took to get up Beinn Narnain from the starting point after you came back down from Beinn Ime? I did Beinn Ime last week and BN is on my list and that's the route I would probably take, rather than the one at the other side. Thanks!
Hi mate cheers for taking a look at my vid. It was a while back mate but I think it took roughly an hour maybe a wee bit less from crossroads u take to ime or left to the cobbler 👍
Thanks for sharing I've got good memories of climbing in Scotland Ireland Wales and England especially Lake District 😀 👍
Thanks Paul. Lake district is on my radar for one day 👍 thanks for watching 😊 cheers Rob
What a long day, wonderful views. Well done
Thanks ☺️
Guid video Rob, some effort lads.👏Big day like. Tent aw the way for me. Dinnae hink I've the legs for that.
Alrite kev. I found it a tough day mate especially the walk back from macdui but the total ascent wasn't so bad tbh if carrying light. We were just over 10 hours car to car 👍🏴
@@SummitAboutScotland Good time bud. 👍
What an effort lads. Well done 👏👏
Thanks mate 👍 👍
Awesome, I've thought a few times about starting a TH-cam channel but editing skills aren't great.
Hi Steve 👍 You should just go for it. I only really started it to have a video diary of my hill days and to show my boys etc. I've found editing can be hard at first, but I quite enjoy practicing and messing about with it whilst trying to get better 😀
Good man. Keep it up rob Regards, Yassir
Thanks Yassir 👍😊
Nice one Rab. Nice o the clag tae feck aff fir yis. 😁 I did Fhionnlaidh from Glen Etive. I'll dae the other yin fae Glencoe & take in the Corbett. Nice drone footage. 👍
Thanks mate was a good wee scramble up Beinn Fhionnlaidh. The lad Dan in my vid was up from England and did the starav 5 the day before and I still struggled to keep up 🤣
Hi, looked a good walk, shame about the views higher up but looked ok a bit lower down. I haven't done these 2 yet but look forward to doing them. ATB Andy
Hi Andy they were straight forward enough. Just a shame about the views higher up but hey ho it is Scotland after all 🤣 cheers Rob
Pity aboot the views Rab but guid tae get oot. 👍 Cannae have blue sky days aw the time. Had a similar day on Beinn Dorain. I'll need tae return.
I've added to my possible summit camp list for when I pluck up the courage to do summit camps lol
Great video mate. Me and my brother did the two of them today. Good day out 👍
Cheers Ryan 👍 yeah they are a good couple of munros hope u enjoyed them mate
A day of 2 half's eh Rab. Good call tho, I would've shat it like. Anything with thunder in the forecast and am like, "Nah."
See tbh mate when we were half way down it was clear again lol. The forecast was for it to turn from 2pm so we were well on track but the weather turned around 11am so we thought that was the front that was forecast coming in so just made the call and headed down. Still 2 more done and had a laugh 😃
Nice evening bike and hike Rob.
Cheers Andy was a nice evening to get away and have some time alone ☺️👍
Guid wee video Rab. Drone showing aff yur cycling skills 😉 Ah walked this one in up and back oot. Longest walk o ma life 😫😣
Aye went a bit overkill with cycling footage 🤣 couldn't stick drone up higher up with the wind. Was glad of the bike when I got off the hill. Nae filming so only took 40 mins to cycle back 👍 cheers for having a watch mate 🏴
Fantastic viewing mate, I really enjoyed that, the drone shots were awesome. You got a glorious day for it I've still do these ones, they look incredible, I am defo keeping them for a similiar day to yourself. Awrabest Andy
Great video mate. How was the cycle in & out, much incline?? Nice seeing all the deer. Awrabest Andy
Hi mate hope your well. Was a slight incline on way in but nothing difficult so nice easy cycling on way back. I didn't mess about when off hill so cycle back was only 40 mins. Wish I'd seen the deer sooner was amazing sight. Thanks for having a watch mate. Take care Rob 🏴👍
Good stuff Rob. The schoolhouse ridge looks fantastic.
Cheers Andy. Up there with my favourites so far. Was lucky to have summits to myself aswell. Have you done beinn a bheithir?👍🏴
@@SummitAboutScotland Naa, I've not done it yet. Looks like a good one though, I always enjoy hills on the coast with a sea view.

Hi Rob, those are a great couple of munros to do, these were my 5th and 6th munros when i started last year. At the time i wasn't filming the walks so your video was a nice reminder of what a great walk it is, its a pull up to the second munro and then a long walk out. ATB Andy
Cheers Andy 😊 It's a stunning route and prob in my top 2 with Beinn alligin now. Thanks for watching mate 👍 cheers Rob
Stunning....simply stunning video of a classic route. The shots of the Schoolhouse Ridge and the path winding its way up were awesome.A tough day out on the mountains but so rewarding with the views.😎👍 Wish I had my drone when I done it.🤣🤣👍
Thanks mate it really is a magnificent mountain. Thanks for watching and take care 👍
Some great weather and views! I did Ben Vane in April in snow which was an experience with a whiteout on the top. Good to actually see what it looks like 😀. I hope to do Ben Vorlich in September and here's hoping for the weather you got.
Hey thanks for watching. I got really lucky with the weather that day. I hope you do too. Thanks Rob 👍
Good stuff. Nice drone shots there.
Thanks Andy 😀👍
Stunning day, Rab. What a spell eh weather we've been having. 😎👌
