Building the world's largest quartz tube
We made the world’s largest quartz tube.
In 2022, our team was facing a dilemma. We needed a 1.5-meter quartz tube for Polaris’ vacuum vessels and no supplier was prepared to build it - at least not on the timescale we needed.
Our Arc Fusion program was born from that: A drive to build something that has never been done before, in pursuit of building a machine capable of demonstrating electricity from fusion. After 2 years and many hours of rigorous testing, the team has successfully formed their final quartz tube, bringing an end to the vacuum vessel production program.
About Helion
Helion is a fusion energy company building the world’s first fusion power plant. Its mission is to fully satisfy the world’s need for clean abundant energy, saving the planet from climate change and improving the well-being of humanity.

Helion's approach to fusion: How it works
มุมมอง 126K2 ปีที่แล้ว
An explanation of Helion’s pulsed, non-ignition approach to fusion power generation. Leveraging Faraday’s Law of Induction, Helion directly recovers electricity from fusion plasmas without the need for steam turbines. By forming, accelerating, and merging two Field Reversed Configuration (FRC) plasmas in its sixth fusion device, Trenta, Helion successfully reached plasma temperatures exceeding ...

thank you, prevent effect of global warming, New energy from sea will change world soon, minerals and temperature of water and air from sea are huge source of energy, reduce more than 50% using fossil fuel, fresh water, fertilizer(minerals+O2,N2,C), zero pollution by using power magnet to separate N2 fromO2 , economy will rise by using jet plasma machine and compressed gas(Air) in isolated structure in water pool with more than 80 % efficiency, it has two vertical cylinders, in first level it transfers compressed gas(hot air) temperature from engine to sea water in pool for steam electric generator, steam combines with high cold Air pressure to produce pure water and electricity , there are other source of energy that with international cooperation in coastline we can reduce effect of global warming, further more we can prevent these phenomena like cyclone and flood and wildfire by using this hot seasonal atmospheric condition, recent years in summer, geothermal energy happens in surface of coastline, there are many countries in coastline with seasonal hot weather and water condition in comparison with middle Ocean, its more than 12 degrees ,this differences must decrease, in sum-up, by using this energy not only is economical but also reduce global warming in countries like Japan, China, India, Mediterranean countries, Iran, Brazil, Mexico, Us, Canada, (Africa and Arabian countries....) . I invented new method base on air pressure rules and quantum physics ionization sea water minerals in strong dynamic permanent magnet(SMCO) with special frequency(1500or 3000)/minute bases on paramagnetic and diamagnetic particles and electrical microwave electron wave field and electric chemical reactions and photon wave from semiconductors with special angle Cations like(K+, Mg++, Na+, H+, H++, li+, H2, ...) are transferred to in the second level into up level by vacuum pump from storage into combustion chambers and they combine with O2 and N2 ,... as major part of fuel, they increase speed of machine, modern induct Gearbox to control speed in opposite direction, for producing electricity and fresh water (removed minerals by accelerate ionization sys from sea water) and fertilizer. this machine produces 150Megwatt/hour and 20000M3/DAY fresh water and fertilizer. 7 methods zero pollution for reducing global warming I mentioned in my profile. (G20 countries can solve these phenomena).

Creative design. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I already saw a video (very nice video) that explained how Helion is operating at some lower output energy with the elements they are using. Still.....very creative design. I'm using to knowing only Tokamak, or Wendelstein, or Shiva laser type designs. I liked this design because they are actively trying to fuse the elements. As in, I wasn't used to thinking in this direction. So....don't care if it doesn't work. Great design. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 If you say the design is old and Helion did not come up with the original design, no worries. They've brought it into our consciousness now. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Let’s Consider the following. Cold Fusion (LENR) - Unproven hypothesized type of nuclear reaction that creates nuclear fusion at room temperature by producing more energy than the amount of input energy can be produced from its altered state. Tokamak Nuclear Fusion Reactor (ITER) - Requires a temperature of 150 million degrees Celsius to create nuclear fusion. Reportedly the record to date but having to use more input energy than produced is 69 megajoules of fusion energy for five seconds using 0.2 milligrams of fuel. (1 megajoule is equal to 0.00027 megawatt-hours) (The reported development cost for the ITER is $150 billion.) Solar Hydrogen Energy Recovery Gas Turbine - 301Kwh of solar energy collected from the sun’s constant nuclear fusion at atmospheric temperature is sufficient for electrolysis to fuel a gas turbine and generate up to 330Mw of electrical energy. (700Mw is within the operational range) (330Mw equals 1,188,000 Megajoules) Wind and solar farms including pumped Hydro have proven to be cost prohibitive and ineffective because they now require 28,000 Km of Environmentally and amenity destroying Renewable Energy Zones to address curtailment that affects 80% of the Renewable market and requires a prohibitive operational land area equivalent to 10 times the size of Tasmania. Based on Australia's CSIRO’s 2023 Gen Cost to provide Australia’s energy needs a total of sixty-five 86-330 Mw turnkey, Net Zero, Carbon free, Solar Hydrogen Energy Recovery Gas Turbines retrofitted to any of the existing 120 Hydroelectric schemes or standalone installation requires a total combined land area of 33 hectares. The 2023 cost range is between $2.4-3.3 billion, construction timeline between three to five years and meet net zero 20 years earlier. Whilst the technology will make Nuclear, Wind and Solar farms including Hydro schemes redundant it is an intermediatory solution until a multilateral decision on power generation can be agreed. Shovel ready off the shelf technology that combines Solar Nuclear Fusion with modern aerospace propulsion and existing Nuclear and Coal fired steam technology for an 86-330 Mw plant is costed at $36.5-49.5 million, noise level is 60dbl at 60m, and operates from an area the size of a football field. Green Hydrogen produced from the sun’s nuclear fusion, with an estimated 5-billion-year reserve supplemented with the turbines Variable Frequency Generator produces sufficient fuel and overnight storage of Hydrogen to power the turbine for a 24-hour/365-day period with a continuous and recyclable 14-year life cycle. There is also the added advantage of Direct Air capture (DAC) for CO2 provided from the turbines operational free energy air flow at the rate of 1,400kg/sec.
