🎉🎉🎉Woot woot. Awesome job girlie.
Thank you 🤗
Girl I’ve been lifting heavy weights for 4 months now. I haven’t lost a pound. BUT when I’m in the bath and I look at my legs, I can see my quads developing! And I’m seeing my abs poke through a bit! So don’t stress over the dumb old scale!!! I booted mine to the curb. Body composition is much more important here. Thank you for keeping at it!! I love your vids ❤
Aww you're so sweet. We are all rooting for you, can't wait to see where this journey goes
same here 🫶🏾
Keep up the good work videos keep getting better 👍🏾👍🏾
thank you 🙏🏾
Um, totally understand the appeal of walking/running at night, but if you are not on sidewalks or trails for all of it can I suggest putting something reflective on your clothes. I've seen someone get hit because they were crossing a dark road in all black, and the truck that hit her never had a chance because she was invisible until it was too late. And she had bright white hair, and no hood. Even then she was in the shade of a tree that blocked the streetlight and he couldnt see her until she was right in front of his truck. I know you are more mobile and moving faster than an 80 year old, but if you don't hear them, it could be a similar outcome. Please be careful!
i know it doesn’t look like it because of the camera angles but i’m actually only on a trail at a park and then sidewalks. when i cross the street it’s only at a crosswalk and im shining a flashlight that isn’t in view. also it looks really late but it’s only 7pm! i totally appreciate the concern though & thank you for the suggestions 🥹🫶🏾
@SheroiTaylor That is such a relief! And unfortunately the time doesn't much matter. The woman that got hit outside the store I was working in got hit somewhere in the 7 or 8 time range. It was just fall and dark early. Is a reminder to me that I need to figure something out for myself. I'm having to put on a coat this week when I walk, and that covers the reflectors on my weight vest. And while I carry a light if it's dusk or dark, we don't have sidewalks in the neighborhood. Will make sure to walk earlier today.
@@GoingGreenMom omg that is so scary! i’m really sorry to hear about that woman. my bf was just telling me i should start leaving earlier after daylight savings. when i go on my longer walks through neighborhoods, i like to be home before night fall. but when i go to the track to run, i usually go later. maybe i should get a reflective vest that sounds like a good idea. safety is very important to me - you never think something will happen to you until it happens to you 😣
New subscriber !!! I see the difference! You’re doing great sis ! Keep it up. Heading to get my steps in 🎉
welcome welcome ☺️ & thank you!! you got this 🙌🏾
Do you use a treadmill or only outside
only outside. i’m thinking about getting a walking pad though 🧐
Hello from a fellow Aquarian! I’m a February Aquarian. My upcoming bday is my next milestone to lose my next 15-20 pounds. Yes the runner’s high is real! I jogged at my snail pace at 3.0mph and I felt so happy. I finished my 15k everyday in October. I didn’t hit it everyday but on an average I made it and got to 470,000/465,000 steps for the month.
omg heyyyy twin lol i love february aquarians 🫶🏾 im rooting for you to hit your goals!! & okay im glad im not the only one who’s experienced “runners high” bc i thought maybe im just being crazy? but i know what i felt lol!!! so proud of you for finishing october strong!! that’s a lot of steps don’t let anyone tell you you didn’t walk every 👏🏾 day 👏🏾 you’re killing it friend!!
I subbed. I do walking HIIT at home. I hate the gym. I hate anything on the floor. Had a VERY hard time finding what I liked! I started in March trying to do 2/3 days a week. Gained all the 10 pounds i lost back. In September i was like eff this. I am going to cycle every day. Loved riding my bike as a kid. It only helped with about 1 pound a week. I wish I found you when I started but I am glad to be here now!! We have SO MUCH in common my mind is blown. Audiobooks are mandatory while i am walking or rebounding. Cant wait to see your progress!! 🎉
yesss omg you just have to find what you like vs tryina force yourself to do what works for someone else 😭 if i started this journey in the gym i would’ve quit by now. i LOVE walking. so happy you found my channel - welcome 🫶🏾 don’t forget we’re in this together!! keep me updated how your journey is going ☺️
I'm glad I found your channel I just completed my first week walking. I can walk 6miles but only run a quarter mile. so you are my motivation. I'm going to try to progress daily as you. Are you prepared for this winter?
keep going! i’ve been walking for 7 weeks & in this video you guys saw me discover that i can run! my goal is to run 2 miles straight, which i couldn’t even dream of trying 2 months ago. you’ll get there! i am def prepared for winter. i live in LA so it doesn’t get as cold as where i used to live but i am definitely dressing for the temperature bc i get cold EASILY
I never understand these app that track steps. isn't there 5280feet in a mile. how is 7miles only 15,000 steps. I guess because we open our strides and cover more distance than the actual length of our foot. it
it’s actually about 17,000 steps. i keep saying 15k out of habit but i should correct myself!
Taking a hot shower then a cold shower is relaxing and thats enough to get me out the door.
Omg you got this❤, Aquarian sister. Also, reading these comments will not only help her, but they are exactly what I needed. I just finished week 7, and I started with only 1 pound a week. The last 2 weeks, I've hit 2 pounds a week with rebounding. The comments helped me feel celebratory about it. 🎉
yess the comments definitely got me all the way together lol i love how supportive everyone is & definitely holds me accountable 🤍 glad they helped you too! proud of you boo 🫶🏾
You’re doing amazing! Don’t be too hard on yourself 🎉
🥹
Keep going 🎉
🫡🏃🏾♀️➡️🤍
Watching you run and actually be happy about it was a mood boost 👏🏾 7 miles is no joke! My next goal is to try to walk 4 miles, I’ve only got to 3.7 before my knees started yelling at me 😂
i definitely surprised myself!! & im glad you’re listening to your body!! 3.7 is awesome, you’ll hit your goal in no time & hopefully your knees will get with the program! lol 🤣
Girl honestly I’ve been following your journey and I’m so proud of you! I’m 60lbs down since Dec 2023! I was feeling so unmotivated but watching you I’ve gotten my steps up between 15,000 - 25,000 and it’s all thanks to your radiance! Much love, your laugh is infectious and I’m praying you are blessed forever ❤
you’re proud of me! i’m proud of YOU 🥹 losing 60lbs is no joke whew 😮💨 & those step counts are impressive!! you’re so sweet thank you so much gorgeous 🫶🏾🤍
@ I put in the work but your glow and progress keeps me going ❤️ I will forever be a supporter and I’m here before you reach 100 million subscribers. Speaking it into existence ❤️
@@curlygurlkay-kay1316 i know that’s right!! lol you’re a real one 🤍 grateful to have you along for the journey 🥹
Hey!!! 1st time watching your video. You are adorable love. So digging your energy. I love walking and just had you pop up on my screen. What a blessing to watch your energy!!
thank you so much 🥹🫶🏾
You are me trying to run 😂 girl I alarmist fainted after the first 15 seconds likeee
🤣🤣
I needed this video! You gave me so much motivation!! You’re doing so good🎉 great job!! I’m glad TH-cam recommended your video ❤
thank you so much 🥹 so glad i could motivate you 🤍
2lbs a week is super healthy and the highest you can lose in a healthy way. If you are concerned, maybe just tweak your diet? Add more lean protein and veggies and fruit.
it was more so losing 2 pounds over 2 weeks, but you’re right i’m not looking to make any drastic changes over a short period of time. just getting in my head
Just start documenting my journey here on TH-cam. The scale is definitely a hater, think I'll find that pair of jeans I've been dying to get into and start taking some progress pics. Here for the journey, nice to know I'm not alone.
ofc, you got this girl 💪🏾 it’s definitely a marathon not a sprint
Chloe Ting workouts on yt🎉🎉🎉
I was a runner for many years, uou are doing great!! Doing my 15k walks now in 2024
really? omg that’s super impressive! my goal is to be able to call myself a runner but for now i’m definitely a walker. lol keep it up!!
😭😂 the devil is a liar! Honestly for myself I realized taking days off helped my body recover because inflammation made my water retention look like no progress. Also I stopped beating myself up mentally for “not doing enough” and started truly celebrating being present for myself and my goals. You’re so inspiring so I would be too hard on yourself!❤
omg i was just saying the other day, when i take a day off that’s when i expect the scale to stay the same but it surprisingly doesn’t! we definitely retain water to repair our muscles. glad im not the only one who’s noticed! & being present is something im working on instead of being so hard on myself 🥲 i needed this comment thank you so much queen 🫶🏾
Insane progress!!!! What are you eating?
thank you 🫶🏾 pretty much way more fiber, way less sugar, & intermittent fasting!
How's your diet do you do keto, low carb?
intermittent fasting!
@ ok so do you just eat what you want?
@@KingMazia i eat veggies like zucchini, broccoli and sweet potatoes instead of rice. i stopped eating a lot junk food and i snack less. my calories in have gone down significantly because im not eating out of boredom, not eating a ton right before bed, and actually letting my food digest. i still eat things i enjoy, like oreos 😅 but waaay less. the saying everything in moderation is so true!
@@KingMaziaalso, i’m burning anywhere from 700 to 1,100 calories on my walk. so i have a lot more room to eat what i want. i just have way better habits since i started my journey
Awesome video ❤
Thanks 🤗
The sweat shirt is so cute
omg thank you 🫶🏾
Girl. GIRL! did I hear you complain about 2lbs a week? That's a fantastic healthy pace to lose. watching enjoy running really brought me back to my time in the Army where starting to run sucked and then after 1.5 miles or so the joy would just flood in and you felt like you could just keep going and going. Loved seeing your whole day turn around.
i knowww 😭 you’re right lol im letting the numbers get to my head!! but discovering i actually enjoy running was a pleasant surprise. thank you for your continued support 🤠
did anyone see me trip and almost fall as soon as i said “im having a bad day” 🤣🤣🤣 that cracked me up i couldnt even be mad lol
Hi! Love these waking videos! When I don’t feel like walking I just walk 1 mile and take my butt home. It keeps me in my routine without having to push myself so hard. If I feel like I always have to do my usual 5-6 miles I will never stick to it, I know myself at this point 😂
that’s smart! when i don’t feel like walking, as soon as i get outside that feeling goes away immediately idk why but it never fails lol
Woah!!! Those before and after pics are incredible! Listen, don’t trip about the scale not moving drastically. That’s actually a really good sign that you’re changing your body composition. Besides no one can look at you and know your actual body weight. What matters is how you look, and most importantly FEEL! So proud of you! I’m completing my 6th week now and haven’t weighed myself in 4 weeks because the scale can be so demotivating. Just do the work and see the amazing results appear!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
you’re so right! thank you so much for the reassurance 🥹 overall, i feel great so that’s what matters 😤 congrats on wrapping up week 6!!
Great vlog Sheroi ⭐
thank you 😊
Thank you for the update
ofc
You're most likely adding on muscle and losing fat! Keep it up girl! I'm getting my walking pad in a few days, I love taking outdoor walks with my pups, but the weather is getting colder here in the pnw and im trying to kick it up a notch! You're inspiring me! Your hard work shows! 💜
oooooo kick it up a notch you go girl!! thank you doll 🫶🏾
Lol I be smelling good the bees be following me and then I have to run faster 😂😩 If I do this routine lawd knows what else will follow me next 🤣 Btw I use the term on my son you smell like outside! Its def a musty smell almost like wet dog 😂 I could see why you wouldn’t wanna tell your friend that it would be offensive but thats what the smell reminds me of 😩
LOL 🤣🤣
That’s mean like you smell like the earth outside 😅
lol i never heard it explained like that before
