Note: The DNS role will be installed automatically as part of the AD DS installation, even if you don't check the DNS box manually. This is because a Domain Controller requires DNS to function properly.
Is it work with windows??
This is one of the solutions for Ubuntu. So, if you are connecting from Windows to Ubuntu you might get this error and the fix needs to be done on Ubuntu (destination device).
How do you make sure windows also works when you're dualbooting
The Windows must be installed with RST off (in AHCI mode) but I don't recommend dual-booting. Install Windows or Ubuntu, don't install as a dual-boot. If this is not an option for you, install Windows and then use VirtualBox to install Linux as a VM.
