I love watching these sober sessions. But this sucks. She is so fake. Repulsive. Does she work for the alcohol industry.
You guys are so lovely. You're doing more good doing these than most people can do in a lifetime. And I'm watching them in 2023. Thank you.
Ha! Thanks Alex. If they're really big they are not a stumbling block, they're a major obstacle. Yes. Thank you for pointing that out.
Hi, Really enjoyed listening to this tonight! I started in aa, it drove me to drink more, then joined an online sobriety group and the positivity got me 2 years sober! I was thrown out of that group because i drank, in a dark time. Then i went back to AA 6 months ago... Im really struggling with it and have now got in touch with Bee Sober. Mark, i love your way of sharing. I did a detox once and omg, the stories! So nice to see you, and i will have a look at your other channels! Thank you all, Anth x
Hi Mark, I really relate to you..... I'm 57, with bi polar, ..... in the last 5 years I've turned to drink, I hate this..... I always thought no matter what I was still in charge of me?!! BUT it turns out I'm not......... I'm lost, I'm aimless, I've lost all my family...... I think at the end of a long day, there is no help, there is no solution and we surf........ that's it, we surf.......
Film and Documentary maker is pushing it - he is an unemployed grifter.
Fantastic
Laura looks so trim 😍
Amen ladies!!! Love your attitudes!!
Why no comment
Started to get better 4 weeks 6 days
AA?
Dopamine levels are low for over a year for some people , excercise food activities socialize
all the best
It’s good to laugh in recovery, liked the rediscovery comment,I am 7 months clean/sober and it is like being reborn.🙏
Aww it really is, Congratulations on your sobriety. that is amazing x
Helpful listening.. thank you!
Great Interview!
Crimson Letters is a very good book. The book is what actually sent me on a hunt to see if I could find any info on the authors.
I so identify with mornings I always wake up with dread. It takes a lot to get my head straight... Sometimes it can take over for a whole day. Yes, we have a tool box but they don't always work. Identification is comforting
George is a true definition of a man after Gods own heart ive known him for years and I can truly say God has changed him
It was a pleasure to interview him
Loved listening to this , thanks
William looks bored
Gabriele Kennedy always looks really bored doesn't he?
Alcohol never seemed to be as much of an issue around where I live though opiates are a much bigger issue here in the west coast of Canada.
Great conversation
Well done Josh and Ross ✅✅✅
I used to let my daughter drink at 16 maybe slightly younger at weekends under our supervision or at family gatherings but she has a very sensible relationship with alcohol now at 25 my parents were strict around alcohol with me and I developed a problem for a while
Enjoyed this thanks guys. So related to the thing of being sober and a vegetarian, you get treated like a second class citizen when you go out at times. It’s like nobody cares what you might like to drink or eat. It’s frustrating, but I’m a rebel too. And I am keeping at both !
Love listening, also from Warrington ☺️
Great to have you back girls 👋
Thanks so much Beck! It’s hard to describe to people how it can actually be FUN to work on your issues with EFT/ tapping. And that it can be so effective, but yes it works brilliantly for people wanting to change their relationship with alcohol 🍷
I can so vouch for how effective tapping is! I’ve been working with Jules for a only a couple of weeks & my cravings are gone! If you’re struggling give this a go as you won’t regret it! Thanks Jules 🥰 And thanks Lisa & Alex for introducing me to these fabo gals xx
This was great Mark. Loved Lisa and Alex too
I found your channel from when Mark was on last time as I am a huge fan of his and Nadia's you tube channel. I was instantly hooked to the sober sessions and you two are so relatable so honestly well done! I decided to stop drinking and am currently on day 53 alcohol free 😊
Wow Carlie, well done! Congratulations on day 53! Please keep us updated on your journey x
@@BeeSober I will do thankyou xx
Hi guys I just wanted to update you I have now reached day 100! I have watched all your videos and listened to your earlier podcasts and it has helped me so much so a huge thankyou 💕
@@carliebrough2930 aw Carlie, huge congratulations - so pleased for you. How lovely of you to update us and think of us on your special journey. Well done you! X x
I am so drawn to watching your sober sessions, Alex and Lisa. I found you through Nadia and Mark. I began watching their TH-cam channel because of the mental health vlogs. My husband is quite severly mentally ill. He had a horrific childhood so absolutely was depressed and anxious before he began drinking. He is technically a recovering alcoholic but he literally stopped the drinking the second he went on four different phsyc meds. His alcoholism was 100% self medication in my opinion because he just stopped and doesn't seem to ever miss it. I guess I watch you partly to understand what it's like for you, in case he is feeling the same as you. What you talked about in this vlog where Mark talked about whether Nadia views him through his depression etc and how your husband thinks it's your anxiety when you genuinely don't want to do something. I get so much out of this kind of chat because I want to try and learn as much as I can. I also feel it's important for me to learn from you all because I am the complete opposite to my husband. I have never been a drinker (I love the taste of all alcohol and I sometimes have a drink but rarely because I don't get anything from it... I seriously think there is something wrong with me or my metabolism because I don't get drunk. A glass or two of gin or wine gives me no nice feeling... no buzz. I may as well had a drink of fizzy water - really weird?!) I also am the opposite end of the mental health spectrum (never had a depressed feeling, 100% optimistic and glass completely full most days - of course I have circumstantial sadness or whatever) So I worry so much that it must be so hard for my poor husband to have to compete with that. I relate so much when Mark reacts to Nadia loving blue sky days for example. My husband is the same, he hates blue sky days. I never vocalise/react and show my emotion (good or bad) because my husband literally can't cope with anything other than my mood being static. He has been medicated since 2010. We have been together since 1985 so there were a lot of years that were so hard with undiagnosed mental health and terrible alcohol abuse. I get so much from your vlogs. Thank you, all three of you ♥️
Alix Chapel we feel so privileged that you have shared this and that you watch out videos. We are also honoured that you feel we can help you to understand poor mental health. If you ever need to offload or just chat, please email/message us xx
Oh bless you, thank you! I am subscribed to your channel so will continue watching even though I feel a bit of a fraud as I don't think your vlogs are aimed at me, if that makes sense? But I do get a lot from them and in every vlog at least one of you says something that resonates. Today's vlog resonated all the way through!! I do feel it helps me understand my husband more so I suppose I am a valid subscriber😉 Didn't expect a reply so thank you so much! Xx
Alix Chapel you’re not a fraud and we’d like to think it’s aimed at everyone, (at least in some way) - if it resonates, it’s right for you x
♥️
Mark is such an excellent communicator.I get the "episode" reference.I don't get people talking about Fibromyalgia "flare ups". I have had a "flare up" for 23 years.God if you are listening, any chance of a "flare down?" It's like being buried alive Mark.Thank you for having Mark on.Great discussion.
Thank you for commenting. It’s great to hear a different perspective Jane and as you say, Mark communicates this so well. Thank you for watching and taking time to comment. Sending you lots of love and hoping you get that “flare down” x
So happy you’re back, missed you guys
Love it. You guys are great role models, and so relatable. So funny. You manage to cover such hard topics with heart. Looking forward to talking more about tapping with you both 😘
I fill I have gone one direction to a nother sweat and shopping is now getting bad me now
Addiction transfer can be really common. Have you identified your triggers? What used to make you drink and what now makes you shop?
This was a great watch and yes, you should all try get to the steps. I've been a few times and it's definately a great way to start your day xx
Sarah Spyvee would be great to meet you! X
Thank you 🙏 xx
Absolutely think you guys have saved my life with the sober sessions, thank you so much 🥰
