I have the opposite to your problem, what medical experts call "a silly inverse-fantasia addiction" wherein, instead of using a fantasia, I keep rolling and leveling new characters. I'm up to 6 in DT (2 are current) with a second omni 100 on the way. That is to say, I love this channel, whether its because I cant remember what I picked, or comparing, or simply just fed up with DT's writing and execution at times, I know I can come back here and reasonably find the quest. I prefer to lurk, but do want to let you know what you do is very appreciated. Just about the only thing I hate here is the like button. Feels like this channel needs a larger, more imposing like button to do it justice.

Been looking for a ytuber crazy enough to do this for a long time😂 I'm one of those who are into seeing if my character emotes differently per option. I even abandon quests just to do them over for the other dialogue options. Your channel is an instant sub for me. Do you have the dialogue options for the conversations with the Wandering Minstrel when we unlock the savage/extreme trials as well? Those are the hardest for me to find and once unlocked they can't be done over...

The dialogue when you first talk to Raholl Ja changes if you have not finished the Dawntrail MSQ. He will say "With the city in turmoil, I had assumed you would be needed elsewhere, yet here you are. So, you have decided to aid my people in retrieving our treasure, yes?" instead of "Greetings. So, you have decided to aid my people in retrieving our treasure, yes?" Unfortunately, I do not have an alt available to catch that dialogue difference for this video right now.

There's some weird audio issues happening during the cutscene when you're trying to convince the pirates. I didn't notice until I was out of town and unable to do anything about it. It's just for a few seconds so, sorry if bothers you.

Love the format of your videos, very helpful for double checking info and seeing the quests!

"Master of Marksmanship" was not very beneficial. We were asked to shoot a rifle and we knew how to do that. The NPCs are useless.

If you notice that the Shadow Lord fight is on a different character, no you didn't. >:( I will randomly get audio issues during recordings that lead to extremely choppy audio and usually it's not a big deal to re-record but my goodness, i did not want to re-record the entire raid, so i just recorded the final fight on another character. My first run was pretty clean and nice, but the run in this video was...not lol. So it's definitely a more accurate "day of launch" experience at least lol.

I've also run into Prishe and Alxaal at x:13, y12.8 in Yak T'el talking about tiger fangs! I'll add more if I run into them anywhere else

I unlocked Eureka over a year ago and finally decided to go and check it out, this was just what I was looking for to remind me how the questline started!

for some reason, this the quest giving NPC isn't available for said quest......

i guess i am 3 hours away from Heavensward. Started game on September 5, quickly fall in love with the game and story like everything then followed all FFXIV girly channels i could find now i am here tracking my progress now and then with your videos silently. Btw your game looks amazingggg i guess u using some reshade mods or smth like that my laptop couldn't handle it but its ok i love my game's look as it is. I'll take a break before starting the Heavensward though by doing some job quets and maybe blue quets maybe i even explore that gambling chocobo racing thing my conjurer is still 50 lvl though people spamming me like unlock the WHM on dungeons :) anyways.

Its really commendable what youre doing, i wouldnt be able to do every single normal side quest even if i was paid for it.

Love the ARR quests and side quests. I replayed them before the rework to refresh my memory, and the depth of world-building, the writing, the humor, was impressive. The side quests were really good back then. I think that to separate side quests from MSQ would be a good idea, making them easier to find in future. Good luck and have fun!

Thank you for showing who the quest giver was... they were offering another quest as well, so this quest wasn't showing up on the map/Recommendations tab.

I suspect that Papin is Ilberd's son. He remarks that his father is a great fighter who has been gone a long time, and he has the same eye color and complexion as Ilberd. He sends you to find griffin meat which I think it's too big a coincidence given Ilberd's alias in the Resistance.

This is the scene that makes me feel like any of the issues with Wuk Lamat's performance are from the directing side of things. She absolutely nails Wuk being absolutely broken when faced with a citizen whos dying and she's powerless to help. There are a lot of Wuk lines this expansion that fall flat for sure, but I get the vibe the director just didn't bother getting more takes. Sena Bryer clearly IS a talented voice actor, it just feels like she wasn't given good enough direction.

I stopped mid-cutscene to look up what Alphinaud and Estinien say when you pick their names instead of your own when the node asks for one, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Let's say it did not disappoint, the effort was worth it. Had a good laugh, specially with Estinien's. Keep up the awesome work!
