Howdy Y'all welcome to my TH-cam channel. I am a mechanic with a love for all things Mopar! I have several Dodge Ramchargers and D100 D150 & D350 trucks. I have a purpose built offroad rock crawling truck that started Life as a 1979 W150. It is now a fully built off road play toy that I have named the Top Hand. My favorite project is my 1968 Plymouth Barracuda that I started building over 20 years ago. It has a Magnum 360 crate engine and some cool race car parts to make it run 12 second quarter mile times. I also have a 1957 Dodge Custom Royal that has only 9700 original miles. It is a true survivor and we have rebuilt the 325 Poly motor and the 727 torqueflite push button transmission.
This year we are planning to attend the No Name Nationals in Sikeston Missouri the last weekend of September. We are taking the 1968 Barracuda for a grudge race against @BadTreeProductions
I often film repair and how to videos on cool Mopar cars that come through the shop also Thanks for watching

Vintage 1/8 Mile Bracket Racing on an ABANDONED Texas Highway - 1968 Barracuda Tears up the Strip!
I got the chance to take the 1968 Barracuda to a great Vintage Drag Racing Event at Little River Dragway in Holland Tx. We even had a special guest show up! Blake @BadTreeProductions suprised me and Eric@DuddiesAdventure by flying in and catching a ride with Ryan @StreetCarChronicles for the weekend! We all had a blast and the cars did great. I have never seen so many awesome Pre 1975 Hotrods in one Place!

TRADING DODGES! Epic Journey for a Project Race Car to take the place of our 1957 Dodge Survivor
มุมมอง 1.4K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Our 1957 Dodge Custom Royal left the garage for the last time. A TH-cam subscriber wanted it more than we did and he had a very cool Race Car Project to offer in trade. The only problem was that the car was nearly 1500 miles away. I made the journey to Ohio to check out the car and hang out for the day. Our 1957 Dodge is now in the hands of another Mopar collector who will drive and appreciate ...

Magnum 360 Reinstalled In The 1968 Barracuda - New Dougs Headers Actually fit an A-Body Mopar Barely
มุมมอง 2.1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The Magnum 360 is officially back in the 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. The new Dougs Headers fit really well but may need a bit of massaging around the torsion bars in the future. It is even possible to install a starter with minima hassle. #nonamenationals #plymouth #barracuda #headers

I am the proud owner of a '68 Notch-Back Barracuda 👍 Sublime green and a 318/392 stroker....dynoed at 495HP 😃
New videos?
Great video.
And not the best time to own a ford in general 😂
HOLY FUCK YOUR IDIOTS!!!! thats how they cut the valve relief on those pistons!!!! good to run all day long!!!
Mine had the same problem but I had the alternator replaced. The only thing is now the battery light still comes on and it's still charging so I'm thinking it's got something to do with the feedback circuit back to the computer. Please advise. Thanks
I have a 06 2500 mega cab doing the same thing but ended up not wanting to move one day. It feels like it is locked up
What was it my truck doing the same
I remember when the golden commando came with e 1 four bbl varb Or a Two four bbl carbs Or a lot of dealers would install aftermarket three or sometimes six 2 bbl carbs. It was also eisevto install headers and glass or steel pack mufflers.
Hey, the the 57 Dodge was always featured on Lawrence Welk every Sat night. Sales guys would pump out pitched for Dodge Constantly....
Don’t they make engine wiring harnesses for 150$?
What does porting actually do for the top end I think I know but not quite sure 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Super nice! I am not on facebook and never will due to the things that happened lately....I really would like to know the cam specs You have on that cam.....Thanks and greetz from Germany ❤❤❤
Whats happened in a year, no releases ou new content hope all is well!
Love it
I drove cheetah valve body on the street for years with out any problems , So if I slipped it into 1st gear while cruising it will send your converter into a huge stall like a trans brake does. and if you know to lif foot off of gas then you can not do any harm . never did I do a drag race burn out in 1st gear as told (Sacred no no for mopar transmission longetivity is what i was told) Now my question is this. Are all of the nay sayers about the cheetah brand just for preventing a mishap or do the valve bodies cause damage? seem to be follow instructions thing like hydraulic lifters
Friend has one of these 2007 making lots of drive noises.
Hey I know this fella :)

Question on your housing prep. I had my Green bearings installed on my axle shafts by a professional, reputable machine shop. I removed the button from the carrier. I cannot get the axles to seat in the housing now. It's like the bearings are a larger exterior diameter than stock. It looks as if there might be a race that needs to come out of the ends of the housing. Have you got any suggestions? I'm stumped!
What’s the most you’ve pulled? South Bend makes a clutch rated for 30k towing (probably GCWR and not trailer weight alone), and I figure with the stronger axles and airbags these old 1st gens could pull that kind of weight nicely
My Dad had a 2 Dr Hardtop Black on Black. My brother and I use to call it the Badmobile
Are you still around? Good channel.
Can I get your cam specs?
Wish that 1957 Dodge Royal Lancer with a V-8 engine, 2 door hardtop with factory fender skirts, and dual antennas at the rear. For 1958, Dodge uses 4 headlights.
Same problem on 05 dodge ram 2500 floor shift, the front drive line not free when in 2 wheel drive
Dude she sounds killer! I have a 96 ram im about to 360 mag swap. Do you have any idea what the cam specs are or a part number is? I love the range it works in with those ported eq heads. Im going to leave mine fuel injected but i bet it will pull similar if i can get a cam and ported heads close to those same specs. Mopar or no car baby 💪
Can you believe this was a working class man’s car? My gay uncle had one in white and pink..
I swapped a 360 magnum with a Hughes 208/214 .512/.520 112LSA cam into my Ramcharger in 2010. I’ve only put 20k on it, mostly since CA grounded it because I didn’t have smog stuff in 2018. The comp cam in my 340 is dying so I’m borrowing the 360 for my Duster while I rewire and give the frame and body some TLC and weld in Jungle’s boxing kit. I broke the frame in 2013 and fixed it but would like the extra beef. Meanwhile I can keep driving my Duster this summer. We are also swapping a 318 magnum into our 85 D150 that’s a slant/4spdOD.
I’ve never seen a cracked magnum have a head gasket issue in of itself. Only with a badly over heated engine.
just the basics is right. perfect car!
I love Little River! It's the oldest dragstrip in Texas.
The fenders are great! Where did you get the heater box clean out door?
Grew up with welded spider gears and broke a few axles because of it.....Might want to use better aftermarket axle with that spool like from Mark Williams...Break the tires loose when you turn corners helps save axles....
Your wiring is a breath of fresh air, compared to a bunch of haphazard - spaghetti- fire hazard crap like i've seen on some projects.
Sweet! What gear ratio you running? Sounds like 3.91? What stall converter? Sounds like 3K. Come to think of it, sounds just like my 69 340S fastback. Gr8 build.
Wow cool video I need to learn how to build a A body 8 3/4 rear end for my 76 dart sport. Thanks for showing the in and outs👍👍👍
I have a problem the spline won’t turn where I’m trying to get it to align with my new motor. I have the truck in neutral and it still won’t budge. What do you suggest I do? Please and thank you.
I remember when I was a little boy looking under these cars and all you could see was just slush of oil everywhere this is the first one I see that looks original first time to see one like this is a pleasure😮
That's exactly what my mom drove except it was a 2 door in that same 2 tone. Sure brings back some fuzzy memories. She traded it in in 62 when I was 6 for a new Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk. My dad drove a Porsche 356 cabrio and he traded that in for a new MB 190SL from the same dealership. Studebaker imported Mercedes Benz in the 50's and early 60s and sold them through their dealerships. They even had consecutive license plates.
I've got 2010 chrysler town and country 3.8l and it had codes for crankshaft and camshafts sensors and it would go into limp mode and run bad, i replaced both sensors and it went back into limp mode, i only get codes for camshaft now, cleared codes drove it for a hour with no issues and then i got another camshaft code but it didn't go into limp mode... any tips?
Sounds and probably feels great
I had this ,,,325 ci Hemi ,,,,D 500 really fast,,,,,
In Canada, the Dodge of this equivelent would be called a Mayfair and was a Plymouth.
That musta felt SOOO GOOOD .
That Dodge is cooler than Rat$hit.
Hope things are going well! Love the content
Great video, thanks for sharing. I have an 06 Dodge 3500 Cummins 4x4 Auto with electronic shift and my Encoder motor is doing the same thing. Cycling with the engine off? I replaced the encoder motor and 4 weeks later it started cycling again. What gives the encoder motor power with engine off for it to cycle like this? I checked for continuity and grounds from TC Plug to TIPM connector pins and readings were SAT. I get a random 4x4 Service light to flash on dash. When the 4x4 service light stays lit, it disables the dash control switch. Not lit the switch returns to normal and all switching positions work. When switching you can hear the engagement taking place. I disconnected the plug at TC encoder motor so it will stay in 2WD. Research on forums stated a faulty AC pressure switch can cause this issue? Or the ABS wheel sensor grounding out can cause this issue? Not sure how these sensors can back feed to give you this problem causing TC motor to cycle? This is very frustrating to troubleshoot. The TC Encoder motor cycling with the engine off makes be believe there is an underlying fault in the circuit causing this issue? Is there a specific mechanical resistance (Tightness) across the connectors that has to be met for circuit integrity? I am still troubleshooting this issue causing the TC encoder motor cycling with engine off. I am going to inspect and check all the grounds on engine block and look at the ABS/AC sensors next. Any guidance or help would greatly be appreciated.
Found the problem. This truck is very sensitive to current fluctuations. Replaced batteries, power cables and clean all grounds. Thought I had fixed it. Then a week later had 4WD Service Light flash randomly. Found all pins on C4 Small Gray connector at TIPM were loose (Drag Test). Tighten each pin, problem solved!😊😊😊😅
It looked, to me, like your accumulator was in upside down.???
Your wiring looks very impressive. Great video on the headers! I went with TTI's, cause I read that Doug's had to be "massaged" to fit - I'm glad I did - the two piece design on the driver's side really made it easy.
Mother Of God,I subscribed!Great video!
You’ve inspired me. I Tore down a junkyard 6.0 yesterday and found water damage in a couple cylinders. It made me sick thinking I threw a lot of money away. I’m going to give this a try before I give my left arm to a machine shop.
