Listening at home connected to my hi-fi doesn't give me the experience that I require to fully appreciate this. There were some sections that I just couldn't hear those nuances that make the piano version, and in particular the Ashkenazy version, so powerful. However, that said, my eyes were full of emotional tears, so I was moved by this, and would love to hear it in person some day.

I love this superb performance. The third movement is particularly outstanding.

Love this Symphony, this and others I found in a box in the basement of a building in NYC. I found a box set in a dark basement full of dust, I took it home play them in my old record player and fell in love with it back in 1994.
