@@mymomsagirlpoopgood Yes and no. The stock down pipe sounds amazing, but the ppe down pipe flows better and sounds deeper. I’m only on a 120hp tune with efi live and full delete and I can tell a difference performance wise. The ppe caused my truck to have a little more drone than the stock

Why? The lmm's suck ass. I have one, unfortunately. Been a nightmare and all I've done is throw money at it to no avail. Terrible towing power. Body rattles like an old truck. Placement of buttons is retarded. No interior storage. ZERO throttle response. The list goes on and on. I had an lb7 before this one. Thing was AMAZING! Rated at less horsepower yet acted like it had more. Solid, quiet, better interior quality. Wish I still had it.

@@MrTmel123 Let me rephrase. My favorite year of truck as far as LOOKS. I had a 6.0 gas that year and it was solid. Still miss it. I don’t really have the experience with that year of diesel.

That car had APR down pipes and a custom cat back that used vibrant mufflers.

Was the brand of the mufflers called vibrant ? Also, did it have s8 down pipes or did you contact Apr to do a kit?

Sam Contractor 101 yeah it stinks. I have 11k on it now and the brakes still squeal. That said I’d still buy another one over dealing with all the emissions issues and motor problems ford and gm are having with their diesels.

the 87 explains a lot, and the alltrack only weight about 250lbs more than a jetta but with an is38 you should be making more than enough power to compensate.

Sounds like the turbo vanes are closed. It normally does that when it’s cold to keep engine temp up.

Dr. DangerCat no never dynoed, but it's aprs is38 tune and there down pipe so it would make what they claim on there site

John Cranwell my 60 foot stunk cause this was only the second pass on the setup so we're still feeling it out. The turbo is fine for the car, it's plenty quick for a kid hauler.

Just thinking that the IS20 is a better match. My friend has an Alltrack with the JB4 only and IS20. He did a 13.4 @ 101.5. We thought he'd have a higher trap, but the awd must be sucking out some power. Another friend has a JB4 only IS20 in a fwd GSW and trapped 107. For the IS38 to be worth the torque loss, I would think you would be seeing at least 107 trap speed. What altitude?

John Cranwell like I said this was the second time ever being on the stip, prior to this night I'd never even launched the car. I was not taking any of it seriously, I had a roof box with full of crap on it the run before. lol I had my kids stroller, car seat and all my wife's junk in the car during this. Next month I'll be going again and actually trying. The car will be low 13s I have no doubt.

Theres another video of a guy running 12.2 with the IS38 turbo. Did you build boost off the line or just floor it off the start? Edit: just realized the other car was a 4motion sportwagen instead though they should be pretty similar
