I think there is a lot of marketing value in this information and you should contact the US retailers as they may wish to use your data as a marketing product for range(20 miles plus) and how reliable the product is with data so far(862 miles) Together with other data big/small fin, et cetera. Of course, all the above from an ordinary-customer and not from their own guys! From their own words….. Some discount of their products to good customers it’s a must! Have a good day Konstantinos

I have purchased my waydoo Evo long mast big battery big motor.can you please upload this data sheet indicates the distance , time , maximum minimum speed etc with the 3 different options (with or without guard and with folding prop) it will be nice if we have this clear to study. thanks again and I hope all the best for the new year.

FYI - The folding prop comes with the tail cone needed if you remove the large prop guard. Gotta have the cone to remove the guard. I'm sure you can probably get the cone separately...but, IMO it's worth just going with the folding prop ..... more options.

Yeah currently looking at the entry level Flight boards and the latest ones from Waydoo. There's like 2 dealers nearby (well, within 120 miles "nearby") for the Flight boards, so a little leery of going with Waydoo (although I do like their EPO foam construction.) The differential between the entry level Waydoo and the Flight Air is only like $500 so that's another factor.
@gman9543 i tried a flight Pro. Loved it. Really nice ride. But, when you add the big battery and the fast charger, it was $14k. Double the waydoo pro plus. So.... I think that the waydoo has a similar feel, although the smaller board (volume and width) on the flight pro had a crazy good feel. I haven't tried the Air. I'm sure it rides great. Make sure you add the upgrades necessary to do a real price comparison.
Nice review; Glad you included your weight for the ride time battery performance of your use. I am leery of ordering when I do not see a dealer in my area, and am concerned about how to get help if needed. Help with any range of unforeseeable’s like a bad part, missing parts, defects or simple replacement parts like screws or gaskets.
Thanks! Weight matters. I don't have a dealer here either. These are pretty much shipped from a warehouse in NC or TX (after showing up from overseas). I ordered mine from Steven at jupitersspot.com/
Glad yours is working good. How would you go about getting it serviced? I know the Flite boards have oil for gears in the propulsion system, but they have service centers (usually marine dealers) to do required periodic service. Waydoo may not have gears, but there are parts that wear, like shaft seals, etc.
@fredmalone798 in all honesty, I haven't given service much thought yet. I ride in some of the saltiest water on the planet so I've given preventative maintenance a lot of thought. I had very good results with my previous foil being meticulous about cleaning after rides. My hope would be that in the next year, Waydoo releases service/seal/oil/whatever kits and that some service manuals and info becomes available. Not sure if I'd want to do the work or ship the parts somewhere. Maybe info already exists. Haven't looked. There is a 2 year warranty on the motor a well.
Sweet. I have not tried it yet, but it looks and sounds like a big improvement on the previous model (Flyer ONE series) Based on pictures and videos I thought the deck looked more level than the previous model. The battery sat noticably higher than the deck on the Flyer ONE. Even if the EVO is more level you may feel the crack between the board and battery. The foam exterior of the board will give more, under pressure than the battery... Even if only just slightly. Maybe the smaller EVO Master will have an overall better deck feel I've owned both brands too. You'll get used to the differences after several more rides I wear shoes for extra grip and protection (on and off the board). I think shoes would help as you suggested. I suggest a minimalist foot shaped (wide toe box) or "barefoot" style shoe. Flat thin sole from heel to toe. Something that will be lightweight and dry quickly. 'Xero Shoes Aqua X Sport' works great, but can be pricey. Otherwise, Amazon has several affordable shoe options that fit the description
We 100% agree on the reasons for using shoes. I've never tried the Xero's; have been using Body Glove Barefoot Water Shoes for quite a while for various thing. Surprisingly really good for walking on the roof - great traction. Good in the water too. Just don't like the feel on a board. Of course, with winter coming, I'll have to use something from time to time....

Krylon Fusion All-In-One Gloss Jungle Green spray paint. Not a perfect match but darn close.

The board needs a little rethinking. Boogie board isn't quite durable enough. Thinking about gluing a rubber mat to the top of a skimboard. Then I could probably mount a camera easier.

It is important to inform that Quark Noir Matter Stabilizer is not waterproof enough to get in water and should not be sold for kitesurfing. As Noir Matter wrote to me: "Quark as it's not made to be submerged in the water and might not work" It is quite difficult to prevent it from getting into water when kitesurfing :-(
Update: The potential problem that I told Noir Matter about happened a few months back. (They poopoo'd my claim that there was a problem. ) The line mount snapped when the kite luffed and then the lines snapped tight again. Loss of camera and gimbal. Their secondary safety leash broke too. I now have Hero9 with max lens mod. Horizon leveling works great. Forget all gimbals. Unneeded added complication.

The boat is great. Just a little flat bottom jon boat but perfect for the shallow water around here. I tried to set up a trip down there but the flight prices were totally nuts during the time we had off for spring break.... Like $1800/person way in advance. Might have to just be me at some point. School is so limiting. Grrrrr
I haven't weighed it... But it's not light. GoPro Session could bring that down a bit; I was using a Hero5. Regardless, seems to work well.

Great video and kiting, just got the ADII. Any tips for how to use the air leash now that you have had it for over a year and a half.
John Powter - first few flights should be in a nice open area. Just test functions rather than jumping straight into your sport. For any activity where you could be moving your arms a lot, wear the leash as far up your arm as possible to minimize movement. Turn it on your arm so it's pointed more toward your face so you can see it reasonably. But, it's no too hard be able to work the controls without having to look too much. As far as the flight settings, start with higher and bigger distances until you feel comfortable with it.

Just ordered me a demo of the Brokite Hybrid 138, can't wait to try it, and that spot, awesome, will have to make a road trip from Houston, desperate for a flatwater paradise.
The Hybrid is a spectacular board. It's crazy light, cuts through chop really well, jumps well, and goes upwind like a rocket. I have both a 135 hybrid and a 134 pop. While I love both, they Hybrid is my first choice. It carves just a little bit better. Especially toeside downloop turns with tons of power.

thanks! yes, in CIRC mode, it will do a continuous circle around you regardless of what you are doing. you can adjust height and distance from you on the fly

+DeZert Fox I'm not sure the minimum height. Maybe 15 feet or so. Honestly I"m just guessing...would have to look back at the documentation.

DeZert Fox I will be making more videos but probably less for mode testing and more to capture sports. I made a couple of others where I used ADAP (adaptive follow) mode. With this mode, You can set the angle relative to your direction of travel and it will change position to compensate when you change direction. (Stay in front of me, for example.) This one, th-cam.com/video/CVpIupjwSQI/w-d-xo.html shows ADAP being used from in front with a very large follow distance (>100 ft). You can see when I switch direction, it makes a huge radius around me to get back in front.

WOW! nice video and jumps, I have the same kite and i was trying to fly like that but i'm not even close to that height. Any advices?
Don't be afraid to send it fast and ride it lit. Bear off you edge a little as your starting to send it then edge hard just before leaving the water. Also, speed translates to height.
