@rcmemorysurfer1613 with the kind of language used here I don't think so, but there are situations where talking about what you want to do and taking actions are different things.

@@ModAnonMTG In general, people scoop whenever a combo lets someone draw their whole deck but it seems like some combos are so intricate that it risks timing out the pod if a player asks "how" and they actually have be played through, especially if it requires more than one turn. eg. Tivit Thanks for the response.

@@ComedIanMTG For sure. That might explain why I see people repeatedly examine their yard and circulate through their cards in hand in the tournament streams. BTW, it's great to hear you describe in your tournament recaps the points where you make deals and share info with other players. Too bad we rarely get to hear what people are saying during the events themselves.

Sure but words are free and don't cost mana or require you to have priority. If they realize I'm bluffing good for them. If they don't and change the way they're thinking about playing I get to effect the game without using any spells or mana

@@ModAnonMTGTbf a well timed snap cast in response to a ritual could interrupt flood caller. Because in order to get the mana you’d have to first deal with the bounce spell

@dexdion1678 yeah I don't think anything that's been released since I made this video has changed the meta enough to make this in any way outdated, it has its limitations in its budget but I think if you learned to navigate it well it would hold its own at a lot of tables. Kenrith is just inherently very powerful

@@davejohnston1562 that's a great question! I think it's still largely matchup dependent. Lots of decks seem more comfortable going for a turn 1 dork and pass but obviously against Rog Si or something you really can't leave a window open still

@Xeph0 they're pretty thin to maximize on better spells, breach freeze is the primary combo and it can also set up displacer kitten+eternal witness to infinitely loop something like Lotus Petal+Lightning Bolt And I just added Finale of Devastation for another hard out with an extra turn and building up mana with Storm Kiln Artist

@@ferventalchemist Kai I just wanted to say that I really liked seeing Osgir at a cEDH table. I tried to make a list work a few years ago and decided it wasn’t fast enough but I still think the commander is really cool. Mesmeric Orb is great tech for that deck!
