0:55 this was used in Coronation Street where the famous Richard Hillman drove the platt family into this canal. It was reused in 2007 when David Platt drove into it

Soon as the lockdown rules allow hotels to open we visit Llandudno regularly we should meet up and go fly one evening you can use my mavic at great distance I will supervise you so it will give you a confidence boost 😱👍

Hi Steve, yes I saw several video clips of the Oxford Mill tragedy. Very unfortunate event, but fire department did fantastic job of containment and not letting it get out of control and doing further damage both to the environment and surrounding buildings.
Hi Steven, Ken here in Canada, (former Ashtonian), not sure if you are still around. Any chance of some videos of the River Tame from various locations when it is in full-flood. Maybe the weir on Park Road in Dukinfield near County Bridge, the aqueduct at Portland Basin and Melbourne St in Stalybridge. Or any location you should choose. Many thanks. Kenneth Ainsworth hi ken it’s a little hi at the moment but not in flood I live near jones brothers so the viaduct runs at the back soon as I can get out I will do some of the tame BTW before the floods the fish stocks in the tame in the Shepley Dukinfield area was booming they fined some big polluters heavy money and it’s started to regenerate fast last year it was stuffed with crayfish which was the end of faze 1 but there are barbel and trout in there I’ve seen them caught last summer 😱👍
@@stevencooke1648 - That's great news about the heavy fines and fish regeneration Steve. I worked at Jones Sewing Machines back in 1970 when they were changing over to Brother. My grandparents lived on Chapel St in the '50's and we used to go down to the swing park. I remember Hooley Hill station and tunnel also.
Kenneth Ainsworth mono pumps at the side of Jones has all gone now and replaced by a posh housing estate the old mill at oxford park burnt down in summer wiped it all out but it never did any damage to the canal thankfully audenshaw resovoirs was emptied for work to be done and they filled canal with buetiful fish I will forward a drone video of the mill fire from my friend

great footage but be careful where this is shown as being a keen drone flyer myself the height must of been around 800 feet up at some points. Would love to film Manchester like this but with my channel i have to stick to the rules
