Flying the Summit with the DJI FPV Drone in 2024
#fpv #djifpvdrone #fpv2024 Here are a few clips from the past few days that I recorded with the DJI FPV drone. Even in 2024, I still love this drone, why? The drone is stable in the air, at the beginning, that was not the case, I had to change the rates. The batteries last and last. Here are my top 10 reasons why I will keep the drone:
1. Battery durability
2. Signal for long-range
3. No fear of loss
4. Speed
5. Adjustable camera even in the air
6. Brake button
7. My girlfriend can also fly it :-D
8. Design
9. Return to Home
10. Automatic landing
My rates Center Sensitivity 140 for Roll/Pitch and for Yaw 120
Max Rate R/P 550 and Yaw 500.
Expo R/P 0.60 and Yaw 0.55
These rates work for me

What software are you using to edit videos?
On that Video i was using PP, since a few months i use Davinci Resolve
In reality the sound is “ rrrrrrrrgggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhh”

Beautiful video! Out of curiosity, how'd you master SFX? The swooshes as the drone touch the peaks make all the difference. Looking for ways to up my SFX game! The noise is beautiful.

are you still using that PID tune? You should share it then. I fly LOTs of different drones and still fly and greatly value my DJI DPV drone (not the name that was lame) #iFlightUSARepairCenter

the drone is awesome so you shoot whole video with Gopro :-) I have still this drone at home but with gopro on the back, you loose flight capability to do more crazy stuff.

Thanks for sharing! I miss my DJI FPV. The flight characteristics are very stable and the safety systems are unique to the DJI FPV models. The only disadvantage for me was always the high weight and the limited flight altitude.
I live in the mountains and enjoy hiking up to the peaks. So, I don't mind the border much.
