Ok thats how to assign a starting DMX address to the fixture. How does the board know that a fixture starts at that address? Is it preset in the board? Example: Fixture 1 is DMX 1-8, Fixture 2 is DMX 9-16, etc...

Dude. Your tag is how to assign to the BOARD not the fixture. The fixture is the easy part. The board is not.

Thanks, this is very helpful! I run tech for a small high-school, and was wondering if this board can be used to program cues. For a play or musical, 24 "scenes" might be just enough, but it would be better to be able to advance through dozens of pre-planned looks, with the 48 single dimmers functioning as a layer for minor adjustment scene by scene. Can a board like this do that?

Hi ! First of all thanks for this videos... they are super useful I'm using this table and i'm having troubles to fading between two scenes. I have all my scenes programmed and I want to fade between, for example, the scene 1 and 2. The thing is that, in my previous table I was able to make the fade between them by putting one down while I put the other up, so, in the middle, I had both scenes at the same time, so I was able to control manually the time of the fade. The thing with this one, is that the second scene only shows when the first scene is at 0%, so I cannot do an actual fade between them. Do you know if there is a way to change this? Thank you!

Where should I put my DMX light menu before controlling with the mixer

does the console only have 48 channels or does it have more pages? i have want to control lights individually so i need more then 48 individual channels, i dont want to put 2 or morre lights on the chane dmx channel.

hey there I have set up my board as follows 2 mega bar lights on dmx address 1 and they are in 18 channel mode next 2 gobos .. they are in 11 channel mode and the first one is set to dmx 19 and the second to dmx 30 an the second gobo to dmx 41 and lastly my sparkle ball which is 6 channel and it is set to dmx 41 this all seems to work great and I have 2 channels on the board left over what are your thoughts or suggestions on this thanks so much for your help it is a great board and you do great demos cheers David R Nelson Phd

great demo ... I have 4 lights .. are there scanner assignments for each light on this board so I have the lights at dmx 1 17 33 and 49 ..how do I tell the board which light to talk to thanks so much for your help

We have 96 dimmers in the theatre and wish to assign multiple dimmers to the channels of the Scene Setter-48 i.e. I want to program dimmers 1,2, and 3 into channel one of the console. How do I go about doing this? Many thanks for the assit.
