The Barber's Fiddle for Triple fiddles
That is the first tune I ever learned on the Fiddle. I still play it. Or course you are playing about twice as many notes as what I usually play on that.
Excellent and thought provoking lesson! Always look forward to your videos!
too much talking. show techniques. Don't need to sit through lecture on how to play with people.
Amazing how many other internet players/teachers (even the great ones) tell you NOT to play the way these super talents are ACTUALLY playing
❤
Nice and simply way to find the Key but I found the instruction's regarding notes in the Key confusing when you count @ 9:02 1D, 2E, 3F, 4G, 5A etc.as the F Cord is Sharped? F#. Am I missing something?
Great, guys. Really helpful. Thanks!
Hello! I am a singer/songwriter with a song that is just dying for this type of fiddle playing. I don't make any money from my music (yet at least...lol), but I have some stuff on iTunes and all the other places you can stream (Michele Maxwell-- the country songs I've released are "Hunk of a Man" and "Tricks" if you are interested in listening to anything that I already have released that has a similar feel). Would you be interested in recording fiddle part for the song? Who knows maybe it could make us famous lol. Of course you're already at about 8000 subscribers, and here I am just starting out. Doesn't hurt to ask though, right? ;)
Sounds great
I was sitting here questioning if they were real
thanks for making these. great quality lesson for a tough instrument.
Damn, thats quick lol
The website seems to be on Facebook, I don't do Facebook is there another way to get your notations for this lesson.
Is it worth buying a banjo from Caraya? Is it a good company?
I've been in a bit of a guitar rut lately.. This may snap me out of it.. Thanks for your video!
Great video thanks
can you share the notes?
This is a sweet format in which to learn a new tune! Can I be in that fiddle support group for 2-4 over 1-3 ? :D
It's a heck of thing for a short-fingered fiddler! I just have to relax my hand and trust that the digits know what to do, and I should let them do it!
Well Done! Ben is an awesome student and teacher!
Thanks Paul!
Bass goddess
Why thank you!
Bout time ,, is all I have to say about Alan Munde being inducted ,,,
Great lesson. Very good advice and very good player!
This is one of the most useful lessons on here, the man is rock solid in his approach
Lot less talking more showing PLEEEEEEZ...
I gonna be tapping my foot all darn day!
Love.... your lessons!! Gotta say my favorite was Grassy Fiddle Blues!
Great fiddling ! Excellent band !
Rest strokes and the fiddle pulse is what seperates the men from the boys in the flatpicking world. Buying Orrin Star's flatpicking primer was the one of the most important decisions I have ever made in my music journey
excellent, as always. Thanks Becky!
If your wondering what's the use of a banjitar, check out the jam at the end and how careful he has to be not to completely drown out the guitar while accompanying
I stumbled across this video. Very enjoyable.
Nice job clear instructions thanks
Very good 👍, but notes in a music book would be helpful. The learners should get used to it early on. And why don't you sing loudly enough? You bassists never want to sing, but it's not that difficult with a few weeks of practice. So next time, please do sing a song. Then it will be really attractive.
Excellent lesson! Thanks
This tune is Beautiful on the banjo! Love it!
Great lesson! Super helpful. Thanks!
Wow!!! What an informational video! So grateful for this❤❤❤
Bozo, Bozo, never laughs, always frowns...
Thanks so much! Love this track!
Great presentation!!! Thanks!!
That old Martin box sounds outstanding!
I love bluegrass. The MasterClass is very good. Thanks.
My favorite version of this tune. Danny's solo is so cool and laid back. Great stuff!
Really great lesson, is there way to get sheet music for it?
It's so hard to find bluegrass bass videos that aren't just "play the first and 5th" thank you for this
It’s like the fiddle player took it as a challenge because I didn’t notice a pause for Wyatt to insert some cross picking easily 😂. Excellent video all the same!!
