Guy was having a bad day in Houston. I wish I had a rear dashcam, so you could see him pulling out the gun. Good times.

2009 Cadillac SRX rear shocks replacement
มุมมอง 1.5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This is how you get to the top bolts on the rear shocks for a 2009 Cadillac SRX. Sorry I was breathing so heavy. It’s July in Houston and today was 114 heat index. Wrong day to try and get this done.

Fixing HE Washer Drains
มุมมอง 22210 ปีที่แล้ว
So, your High Efficiency Washer isn't draining properly? Clothes coming out wetter than they used to and don't smell very fresh? Beeps at you with error codes, and it's stopped and still full of water? Yeah, it's time to clean out that drain filter. Don't call an expensive repairman, you can do this by yourself!

the IRONMEN Small Group at Clear Creek Community Church participated in a baptism on September 4th, 2011. 4 members of our group gave their lives to Jesus Christ and were baptized by one of our Navigators. It was a moving experience as the rest of the group watched and cheered while we also sported our group t-shirts that you see the men getting baptized in .
Honda Shadow Sabre Clutch Replacement
มุมมอง 91K13 ปีที่แล้ว
I replaced the fiber plates in clutch of my 2001 Honda Shadow Sabre (VT1100C2). and recorded each step so that you can see how simple it is to perform.
Great video. I have a question for all the Motocyle guys who watch this. Is the 2004 Honda Shadow 1100c2a sabe a wet clutch? Or has a 3 hole oil change? (Like a harley) I'm not sure. Any help to find the information would be appreciated.
I did as this video instructed for a 2011 srx however, access to the rear shocks on that particular vehicle was through the fender well! Took off panel for nothing. So if you’re not sure how to gain access to your shocks on a 2011 srx I recommend removing the plastic cover from the wheel well first because it’s held by 4-5 plastic retainers and two screws that are small torx bits. FYI: (The screw on the inside panel was a 7 mm.) Front struts are not difficult to replace just follow the instructions on any of these diy videos.
Completely different generation SRX
date/time on my dashcam is a bit off apparently. clearly this isn't 7am. LOL
108 inch ? That is the torque ?
can the pulse generator be replace without removing the motor?
Broke 1 of the 10mm bolts that holds the presher plate on. Can i get it out ?
is there any videos on a 2009 honda shadow spirit 750. clutch repair
I'm looking for same video. 2009 clutch replacement
How much would this cost for a local shop to do?
Where can I purchase the stock pipes and mufflers for my 02 Shadow Saber ? The previous owner installed Vance & Hines Long Shots and I hate them ...
Ronnie Sellers i have stock exhaust if you want to trade
what type of oil did you use
as unlock speeds?
Hey, GREAT Video , thanks a lot !!!!
Thanks for the nice vid - very helpful.
hey folks, please keep in mind that many synthetic oils are ''not'' designed for wet clutches and they can cause clutch slippage.i read many forums and they steered me to use shell rotella in my '86 vt1100 and it is best choice i made.rotella is a go for me as it is heavy duty stands up to higher temps and used in many diesel engines.
Thanks for posting this!
Hi, I have to do the same job with mi Honda Shadow VT750 C2. Could you please tell me which kind of oil have you used (maker and type) and for what discs? Thanks a lot
What was the reason why you replaced them? My third gear doesn't engage, it grinds then pops out then back to second. Do i have to do this?
Thanks for the vid. It was very helpful.
you are welcome...i'm glad to see that many people have found it and saved some money!
is it the same for a 1995 shadow vt1100c?
I did this job after watching videos for several other bikes (dirt bikes, etc...) and figured it was all the same. Yours should be pretty much like this one.
Why soak the clutch in oil ?? Great info thanks
These clutches are oil immersed during operation. Putting them in dry (as some people swear by) starts them out just that, dry. It will take time for the friction pads to become impregnated with oil. That entire time will cause undue damage and shorten the life of your new clutch.
Thanks that's simple enough for me. I am a highly mechanicly incline worker.
Thanks
great video guy.
90 degree angle seal picks work well to get clutches out too.
Thanks for the video..
is it necessary to replace the steel plates. or if they have some black on them will I notice anything, just don't want to waste money if I don't have to. shadow '01 1100. are the EBC clutch ok. barnets are a lot more expensive.
the EBC's are high performance...I've found them to be more than I expected. The steel plates on mine were in good shape. It's really the fiber plates that wear out. Maybe after 2 or 3 fiber plate replacements would I look at doing the steel ones.
I'd there's any black markes on steel plates, yes replacement is necessary. Can be warping going on
Thanks for sharing the video. I will have to do this to my Sabre at some point!
Would you say that this is the same process for the 125 shadow? Also why do you soak the fibre ones? Thanks
should be the same for most motorcycles (japanese ones anyway, I can't speak for Harley)
Nice job. I made a step by step with photos for an Aero. Thanks for helping out the community.
Hey, I have changed clutch disks, springs and the oil. And I have a problem. Every time I start the motorcycle when its cold (like the mornings , or after the work to ride home) the clutch is stuck, I mean I squeeze the the handle but the clutch does not disengage. I have to push it really hard or hold the clutch and start the engine , and if I do that I can tell that its hard for the engine to brake the stucked disks, after its "unstucked" every thing is fine. do you have any thoughts ?Thanks
I might be doing the on my bike, but did it work. Did the clutch get better? And i guess ill have to leave it in (N) when repairing ?
Hi Great video! thanks... I had a Question though. The service manual says you need a special tool to take off and put on the clutch... "CLUTCH CENTER HOLDER" also mentions the "Holder plate" and "Holder Collars" I have the basic tools and was going to attempt this myself, but wanted to make sure there were no special tools needed??? thanks and keep up the good work!
did you have to worry about loosening the clutch cable before dissasembly and readjusting after installation of the new one?
that sounds more like your cable is too tight. I think the springs I used were EBC (aftermarket).
I wish the pull on my Lever wasn't so hard, I have short fingers. Any ideas about using different springs? OEM Parts or aftermarket?
thx
it was pretty easy!!! I didn't disconnect the clutch cable. Good luck!
also...they should tell you when you buy the plates, but make sure you soak the new plates prior! I just soaked them overnight. I think they want you to soak them for a few hours before installation.
mine started slipping. it's pretty noticeable when that starts happening. The RPM's go up, but you don't feel the thrust. usually at the high end of your shift.
haha!!! My wife and I were going out that night, and I didn't want my hands all grubby. Proctologist...that's funny stuff!
it's a wet clutch. you do need to drain the oil. I had fresh oil, so I just drained into a clean pan, and reused my old oil. Good luck!
About to change out the clutch springs on my 2002 vt1100c with some heavier duty springs, thanks for the visual.
Is the clutch staying in oil (wet clutch)? I is a must to drain the oil, because I thought its dry. please correct my if I am wrong...
Question how do I know when to change the clutch out
Great video.
After watching your video, the job looks pretty straight foward. Looking foward to doing the job myself. Thanks.
This vid helped. Thank you sir!
@cyclepro101 it's as easy as it looks there. the cover plate took a LITTLE bit to work it off, it didn't just come off as easy as in the vid, but you have to pull it off straight out, due to those guide dowels.
Great video mate, I have a Barnett clutch on order at the moment and looks like a simple job to do
haha, i did that too a couple months ago (replaced my OEM clutch plates with Barnett's). the dealer wanted to do it for like $400-$500 , i said heck no i'll just do it myself (using a clymer manual , of course). not that hard to do just need to be careful to torque the bolts on the pressure plate (i learned the hard way, push rod was not happy and busted out 2 bolts while i was testing it out, SCARY moment! ).
Mee too 2 bolts blow out 😭 what is the perfect torque?
