Emotional Landscapes, Human Cachexia?, and Tactical Blackness
This video is an answer to a contribution from a former video.
Sometimes I think black people in America are the only people in the world who unnaturally go against sane human emotions and qualities just to make people who don't care about them feel comfortable. No matter what has taken place.
Why are we so afraid to be human? Why are we afraid to seek vengeance, or at least talk about it?
Why do we think that the quicker you forgive someone, the more people respect or care for you? It's actually to the contrary if you ask me.
The worst part is, most of these people wouldn't forgive their own family and friends for sleeping with their man, wearing their dress to the club, or not coming to the cook out.
We seem to like to forgive when it's not us that we are forgiving. As if we are not even worth the forgiveness that we delegate out. It's almost as if we really believe that black forgiveness is a super power and others are lucky to get it from us.
When have you ever seen gang violence and all of the black people come out and talk about forgiveness???????
This is slave behavior at its finest and it makes my skin crawl.

    By some of Douglass standards, today Trump would have been removed from multiple state ballots. Not having other states interfere and congress interfere with their popular sovereignty voting and eligibility requirements.

    The democrats of today would align very well with the beliefs of judge Douglass. 44:00 through 46:00. Douglass really believed that blacks were inferior to any other race thay stood before. Modern day democrats still believe blacks are so inferior, that unlike their white brothers, they are not capable of obtaining a state issued ID or even use a computer. That entrance exams for college should be dumbed down for their black brothers because they are not able to meet the same bar that whites can. Sadly , the democrat party hasnt changed much at all since the time of Lincoln and Douglass.

  • @pierlombardini8705
    @pierlombardini8705 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is really interesting, I did not know the speeches before, and I have to say Douglas has some very good points while Lincoln isn't always persuasive in his self defense but in the end he beats Douglas highlighting the contradiction between the Dred Scott decision (which hereby Douglas endorses) and the doctrine of popular sovereignty. Besides worth noticing that they both quote Henry Clay as a positive example and a prime reference for their politics.

    it is fascinating that Douglas's vision of horror, that whites would have to treat african americans as political and social equals, is today broadly held as a goal to which whites should aspire.

    I've been watching as many ACW videos as it seems are available on YT. I wonder why it took so long for this to appear in my recommendations? This is excellent; I've read of the Lincoln-Douglas debates many times and lived for years in the area where they occurred. For some of us, it's still living history. I'm also happy to see so many of my overseas brothers watching and commenting on these debates. One interesting but not well known fact of the election of 1858 is that Lincoln won the popular vote. However the Illinois democrats won the state legislature, but prior to the 17th amendment in 1902 senators were not elected by popular vote but by the legislatures. Also Douglas died in June 1861, his health wrecked by heavy drinking and hard work; had he won the 1860 election then former Georgia governor Herschel B. Johnson would have been president and the Civil War would've been delayed at least 4 years if not forever.

    2 Monsters of their instruments...Jeremy was the most inventive flutist on the planet...no one even close. Tommy had the good sense to share the stage with a flutist equal to him in virtuosity. You can hear that Ian Anderson listened to Jeremy, but never reached his level. Sadly, Steig passed-away last year. Hammer and Steig made a huge impact on Jazz/Rock Fusion years before it was a genre.

      Two well-known film actors- Richard Dreyfus is reading Douglas and David Strathairn(who played William Seward, Lincoln’s Sec of State, in the Lincoln film) is reading Lincoln. The historian Allen Guelzo is reading the introduction. Pay special attention to Lincoln’s 7th Debate here. He essentially sums up all his major points & final thoughts in that last speech. 🙏🇱🇷🎩

    We are still conspiracing about them, while they have it all ready. Do you think we have any chance? We all gonna die some way or another because we all die no matter what, even them. I think its time to save ourselves. In the meaning of being good people. I think this life is nothing but a way to express what we really are. Good or bad. Im not afraid anymore of this people. Im sorry for them cos they try to build heaven on earth. They forgot it will be temporary. Be the change, care for those who really wants and need to be helped. Start always at home and relatives. Good life.

    Very well said. I did not know about the lethality of a taser although i have seen reports about people dying after such force was used. It is an extremely complex issue because every person is thinking at a different level of consciousness, for example the militarized mentality that you speak of is 100% fight or flight response, a shoot first ask questions later way of acting. When in this mode of thinking the mind only reacts instinctually. Now more than ever the citizens are resenting the fact that police are murdering people in such a high rate, the good thing is that more and more cops are being charged for murder. All the violence and threat of force in the sphere of policing really makes it a tense environment to be in.
