My mum had to go to EB Games (Australia’s Gamestop basically) to pick up a Pokemon event code for me while I was sick. I had to write down exactly what I wanted so that she could give the piece of paper to the staff and say “This is what I want”.

This is like my experience too as a EB Games (In Canada they are called EB Games instead of GameStop), and they kept on asking me if I wanted a pre-order of a certain game I never heard of and kept on bugging me about the discount deals too...And other nonsense crap for the better gameplay. Luckily I was kind enough to say no thank you, but inside I was like a raging volcano...Ready to burst at any moment for how annoyed I was being treated, but I got out of there and went on my way.

Is this really what GameStop can be like? I'm British, so only been to one once as they didn't really have a presence here beyond a about 5 stores. That one visit, they refused to take my original Xbox games, which was hardly unfair as it was around 2007/08.
