Cost Effective GPS for Precise Cemetery Mapping
มุมมอง 230ปีที่แล้ว
For cemetery mapping, is there any surveyor type equipment that is cost effective yet accurate? Put away your ropes and measuring tapes. Forget about $10,000 GPS/GNSS packages. For a few hundred dollars (up to $700) you can get 10mm (1/2 inch) accuracy. If you are interested in the scholarly paper about evaluating low cost RTK GNSS receivers, here is the link: www.sciencedirect.com/science...
Faster Cemetery Grids
มุมมอง 36ปีที่แล้ว
It is time consuming if you have to take two very long measuring tapes and hundreds of feet of rope and then figure out the hypotenuse of a triangle in order to make a square. To make a grid to map a section of a cemetery you may have to do it time and time again as you move through a location. Instead, measure and cut some cord/rope/pull tape to length and sew on rings. Roll up your cord on a ...
Engine Bay Quick Wash
มุมมอง 283 ปีที่แล้ว
This 2003 Ford Ranger was looking a little dirty... in the engine compartment. You can spend quite a while detailing the area, but this is a 10 minute project needing no special tools or detergents. I used "Simple Green", but any dish detergent would have worked just as well. A spray of Armor-All was an added touch at the end.
Wiper linkage bushing replacement on a 2003 Ford Ranger
มุมมอง 10K3 ปีที่แล้ว
My passenger side wiper quit mid stroke. A little nylon piece was worn down. The wiper and the arm that makes it move had separated. I managed to get into the area to replace the bushing. It might have been less of a headache to remove the wiper motor and the linkage that moves the wiper... and the wiper mechanism... assemble everything outside the engine bay... and put it back in. This fix-it ...
I've been looking for something about John for a long time, a reminder, something.... He was a great voice and artist who gave us so much more than was given back (almost nothing). The Curse of Milli Vanilli
Very good job in video and explanation.
So he wasn't on Girl You Know It's True?
❤

Thanks for your video. No thanks to Ford engineers! One for using a bushing that wears out so fast and two for such a pitiful design for wiper linkage maintenance. A removable cowl is so superior for access. One more comment, at about 2:50 min. into your video you show popping on the bushing with a pair of channel locks appear so easy. It wasn't quite that easy for me and some grease should be added into the cup of the bushing. That's what the little rectangular pocket is for in the bottom of the cup. Other wise, a very helpful video!
Great bass player and vocalist .RIP John <3
I went down a rabbit hole and somehow ended up here. This was a well-researched documentary on such a fine gentleman.
Entendi todo, bien explicado!!!
I am another very grateful viewer and have to thank you so much. Thanks to your tutorial I was able to do this job without hesitation.
Thank you so much!
mine went out at 320k miles its about time
I almost cried during the end
Now that is Black History 🙏🏾💗🌅🌄🙌🏾💗 God bless and rest his soul.
Excellent tonality his voice J. D.
My 03 Ranger is the same color as yours but I have the 6 liter. 222,000 miles and going strong. My passenger side bushing decided to die yesterday during a hard rain. This video will be very helpful in replacing it.
found another video by "G Auto Repair" where he pushes the bushing into the main arm first (with help from pliers) then pushes the main arm + bushing onto the passenger side ball/arm. both videos are fantastic and show you two good ways to get the job done, just thought i'd leave the comment in case anyone watches this video and doesn't have a helper mouse. hope this helps and have a good day ☺️
I think something that could have been done with Milli Vanilli was present it as a total act. Include the real singers and Rob and Fab as the faces of the band.
Came looking for advice. I replaced the plastic bushing, and it snapped firmly into the arm, then the passenger arm ball snapped firmly into the new bushing. It pops back off on the first stroke, every time. The arms aren't binding, and I see nothing wrong!
You may have unintentionally damaged the bushing, installing it. For me, it was extremely difficult to snap it on the ball, even with grease. When it finally popped on, I knew that sucker wasn't coming out again, soon. Plus the bushing rotates smoothly with the grease I put in before snapping it together.
The voices of girl you know is true are : Charles Shaw an Brad Howell ... aren't they?
Love your video very informational thank you
Much of all that skit, like a theater show all along and Joh Davis was the voice of Milli Vanilli, God rest his soul.
Keep on running hit it big cause Rob and Fab performed it first
What a beautiful voice
RIP John Davis
The moral to this story is rich men in power exploiting poor black men🤬😡
Sorry to say but I belive this is true.News is that the Japs killed Michael Jackson because he was owned by them and Michael could not take their crap anymore and was getting ready to leave them. Many of todays singers are backed and owned by over sea agents.Prince is another artist who died very young.Get my message people.R.I.P Johnny Davis
Frank Farian is evil I’m glad he’s met his maker Hells forever #Rob🎶🙏🏻🙌🏻 Fav🎶💖🙌🏻 John Davis RIP you beautiful talented man 🎶🙌🏻🙏🏻💖
Such a gr8 voice. How ppl could not see that!
Geno, this is awesome. I really enjoyed learning about John. Is there anyway to get a hold of (or a rip of) his LP Joker?
I am the second cousin of John Davis. My grandfather (Johnnie Davis) and John's Dad (Charlie Davis) were brothers. I am so elated that this information exist. Much of this was unknown to me (and many of us really). Especially the information about our family tree and history. Many of us are still in the Anderson area, and in fact are gathering for the first time in many years this coming weekend. I would like to clarify one thing: The narrator stated that the man singing on the '45 was my Grandfather (Johnnie Davis). Well, it is actually his brother (John's uncle) Hubert Davis leading that song. He is one of a few Davis siblings still living.
I knew Johnny very well many years ago.See my comment on here about Johnny and your cousin, the late Leo Davis.God Bless
Geno, I'm trying to find his "Joker" lp. Can't find it anywhere. ❤ John Davis RIO
Geno. Thanks. That was a GREAT help! I used the socket that oasis suggested. I hope someone at Ford has a better layout by now!
Jasmin, John’s eldest daughter writing here: The Doc. Is okay made, but there is so much information missing on this documentary about Dad and his legacy, as well some things do not belong in there or better yet persons … should have talked to us, his close Family in Germany and not make something out of limited information…
I knew John Davis, he lived where I worked and he was our client. He was very kind, always smiling, always joking. Such a nice human being.
Para mí Brad Howell es la voz principal y voz insignia del grupo
Incredible artists, glad that this video was made it. John needs to be remembered.
Beautiful documentary life is truly interesting.
Outstanding video! Very informative and emotional.
Girl you know it’s true is one of my favourite records and I never tire of it… Thanks John and rest in peace brother ⭐️ X
Can you make video like this about Brad Howell?
It's possible. John's family provided lots of information as well as photos, etc.
Rest on Uncle Johnny
Beautiful story . RIP John Davis, and thank you for your music!
Its a shame America didnt revere this mans superior elite musical talent. He was a better singer than 90% of known artists. R I P John Davis.
Brad Howell was the singer. Davis was the rapper
@@Jaburu John Davis was both a rapper and also an even better singer- vocalist as well a musical writer.
@@chibang492 i can't speak about that....alll I am saying is that he was not the iconic singing voice of MV
@@Jaburu it's become a common misconception that he was the singer
@@chibang492I've heard his solo work. He was really good
Excellent documentary on John Davis. One of my favorite parts was seeing him play the bass. That was incredible! R.I.P. sir and thank you for the great music.
RIP John Davis.
Great video 🥂
Glad you enjoyed
Glad he got the spotlight and success in Germany
