Z fold card/mini book - gift card holder - Simple Stories Life in Bloom - Process Video

Card dimensions:
Base 6.5" x 5" - I used a 110 lb cardstock and layer a pattern paper over it
z fold 11" x 5.5" - score at 4" and 8" the smallest side is glued to the base at the far left side
top layer 4.5" x 5.5" score at 3" (I ended up using a 4x6 cut apart card and it worked fine.)

I wish I had finished this video BEFORE I ordered that paper. Sigh. I thought it was another one of those premade mixed media paper pads. GRRRR. I also bought some of those Winnie The Pooh wood veneer pieces. Our oldest LOVED Winnie The Pooh. He would say, "A Pooh, A Pooh!" It was adorable. I still have his stuffie of Winnie the Pooh in my scrapbook room. He talks. He's adorable.

I am definitely not a mixed media expert, you might love the pad. There were some pros and cons. I do love having the papers in 12 x 12 but was just a little disappointed by the weight of the papers. I am so spoiled by her foundations paper! I absolutely love that the grandkids are enjoying Winnie the Pooh since their mom loved him so much! It was my favorite to watch with her, too!!

I don't think a visual triangle is necessary on every layout, especially NOT when you are using a larger photo because that is your focal piece. This collection is so beautiful. I managed to snag some of their reprint of it just before I moved and I am looking forward to playing with it. I even know where it is! YAY! I love all the texture you have put onto this layout. It's gorgeous. Your granddaughter is just beautiful!!

And oh, my goodness, when you did the tearing. I fell in love. I also loved the tip about the tape behind the stitching. On your Iron Crafters Hop- Old Sassafrass and BoBunny Beautiful Things. I also love to combine collections and combine old with new!! when I was with CTMH, I always loved to combine it with other collections and show how it “played well with others” 😂

Yes, I did one for each in that family (my younger daughter did a different type). She records all of the info on the date in the calendar and keeps the finished calendars in a keepsake box.
