Some Ahhs and a Harp in the Make Noise Spectraphon | Instruo Larachd + Lubadh
Here is the first take of the two Larachd microphone test with the Spectraphon. Very different result from the other video. Both share the same sequence and modulation.

This is just a bit of a moment digging for sounds in the spectraphon. I was really loving finding the sweet spots. This module has been challenging for me at times, but then all of a sudden this week, I have had several lovely moments that make me want to dive in deep for a while.

This started as a simple test of a sequencer function that ended up not getting explored. Got sucked into Zadar instead.

Sadly, there was no video of this moment. I was rearranging this case to add the touch-late and couldn't help trying it out with what was plugged in. Thankfully the synth is always recording. I think this will add so much to my moments.
Make Noise Bruxa | Spectraphon | Maths | Non-Linear Memory Machine | Duophonic Distribution
มุมมอง 144หลายเดือนก่อน
Thanks for your time. I have been addicted to sending sequences into Maths and then mixing them with LFO's and outputting sum to a quantizer. This is a 6 step Verbos Voltage Multi-Stage sequence sent to Maths and then the Shkrjn Duophonic Distribution. The two outputs of the Duophonic Distribution are sent to a Dnipro 2 channel quantizer. Those two alternating outputs go to see A and B of Spect...

This was an unintentional moment. Still trying to learn how Bruxa fits in with this system. I keep revisiting sending a sequence into it and using an aux channel to be able to send Bruxa back to itself. I usually soak moments in reverb. Not today.

Really enjoying the textures in Bruxa this morning. I ran through a few simple patches the other night and just wanted a quiet ambient moment. There are surprises in this module.

I really love this module. It's a bit unpredictable so far, but I prefer unclocked gritty animals. Skip around. There is a long final run. More to explore. 00:00 Just Friends oscillator 01:03 Foundation Oscillator 02:45 Arbhar 03:08 Filter Modulation 04:06 Arbhar 05:03 Verbos outro

I felt like a quiet moment this morning. I really need to explore these two modules together. Using four sequenced notes sent to Just Friends. other modules used: Qpas, RXMX, Sidecar, Z-DSP, Non-Linear Memory Machine, ER101, OCHD, Maths

Sometimes I need a good sound bath. Filters and delays moving in the headphones. I loved filtering the Lyra-fx. It somehow tamed it and kept it wild at the same time. Filtered by the Vintage Synth Labs vcf-74. Also really enjoying the ability to pause a sequence on the er101. Helps a lot in this case when I want to hold a fuzzy moment and not change the notes and then pick up where we left off.
Sounds huge and amazing!
Thanks so much. So many surprises in the Spectraphon.
Wow, amazing 😮😊
Thanks Probbie. I like where spectraphon takes me.
great stuff, experimental but interesting to listen to
I appreciate that. Thanks for listening.
Love this. When’s your album coming out?
Fascinating and beautiful 😍
Thanks Probbie!
cool idea for a patch with a great result
Thanks Grace. I really like the dynamics in the Spectraphon modulation. Good fun.
Wow. Absolutely awesome.
So kind of you. Thanks for checking it out.
sounds great, made me think of Peter Hook playing through a modular.
That’s interesting. It really felt like bass strumming at the time.
Sparkly and uplifting✨✨✨✨✨
lovely indeed
Beautiful 😍
I'm about a week into exploring the Bruxa myself - These patches have been lovely - thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks for checking the video out. Bruxa is a strange one. I love blending other fx modules with it. Have fun.
Mmmmm 😊
Really enjoyed that, reminded me of Seefeel.
...maybe I DO need another module.
Oooh, so good. Now I really want Bruxa to work with Strega and others. ❤
Wow; love it.. 😊
Very kind of you. It took a minute to get it working for sure.
Beautiful
Very kind of you. Stay well.
Wow; truly wonderful. NOOO, please not another module on my shopping list.. 😮 😉
@@Probbie it’s seems hard to resist to this one 😆
absolutely lovely.
Beautiful patch ! Bruxa seems to be really great ❤
Thanks so much. Bruxa is really lovely to get lost in.
Really like it ! Nice patch !
Very kind of you. It’s a mysterious module.
I can't stop using mine. Best ever. Nice patch!
It’s nice and wild. Thanks for checking out the video.
Such a majestic textures!
It’s a lovely module. Unpredictable at times in a nice way.
I love Mannequins stuff, but have never touched a Just Friends. Im guessing JF is doing most of the heavy lifting here? Sounds absolutely incredible 😮😊
Both modules work well together. The lowest note is through an open VCA. The rest get controlled by the poly envelope. It can be a tricky module, but it’s full of sweet spots. It was a fun patch.
@ElaineSynth Interesting...
Beautiful!
Fantasticly performed piece of modular magic
That’s super kind of you. Thanks for taking the time to listen.
Yes, small systems are essential now and again. 😊 It can sometimes take me 4 weeks or more to put something together on a larger system.. 😮
Totally fun to mess with a small system. A great way for me to look at under used modules.
Nice patch! I love how you use the different timbres and textures of the STO, do you also modulate the shape knob or is it the enveloppes only?
Thanks for checking it out. Row three of pressure points modulated the shape a little bit. Good fun.
Beautiful patch! <3 Particularly love the slow, floaty bits. How do you like Supercell, BTW??
Thanks so much. The supercell is a lot of fun. I like having the clouds functions with dedicated knobs. A lot more to learn about.
nice video I just liked and subscribed..sounds great.. not sure if I need.. have Magneto, Nautilus and a bunch of other delays.. it's criminal that it doesn't have CV inputs for each delay line
It sits among a few other delays in my system, but has very different strong points. The lack of stage cv has never bothered me. I really like the cv time control alongside the clock.
@@ElaineSynth .. I will have to read the manual.. thanks Professor
beautiful
Very kind of you to give it a listen. Thanks.
I'm getting my 2024 addition today - so stoked!
Congrats. It’s so lovely. It was exciting at the make noise shop in Asheville last weekend. Have fun.
😊 delightful❤
Thanks so much. I still dig the Bard Quartet.
So beautiful; wonderfully restrained 👌
Glad you enjoyed it Probbie.
Awesome patch!
Thanks so much for listening. It was a fun patch.
Sounds awesome! I dig these soundscape explorations. Good work. Thanks for sharing. Hey, what’s your opinion of the OAM Time Machine? Cheers.
Thanks. I really love the Time Machine. I was sequencing the clock times last night and it was really fun and precise. Nice to be able to change the taps like that during a patch. I’ll post a video soon showing that.
Wonderful 😊
Thanks Probbie. It was a fun patch.
❤
I appreciate you giving it a listen.
Great 3:27 harp vibes. Koto maybe
Thanks. I can hear that koto reference for sure. It was a happy accident.
Really enjoyed that. I'm looking through LEM218v3 vids for controller to go with my TKB to use with my Bugbrand system and this vid was one of the best.
Thanks so much. Kind of you to listen. I really like the lem218v3. It has a lot of options under the hood as well.
It brings you in as it surrounds You. Quite Lovely
Lovely comment. Thanks for listening.
what a journey I thank you for this and I grant you my subscription
I appreciate you giving it a listen. I really enjoyed that Modular moment.
Wonderfully sparse and beautiful 😊
Thanks Probbie. I really didn’t want to unpatch this one.
those are amazing modules.. great performance
I appreciate that very much. Have you tried the Gilbert module? I also like his Duophonic Distribution module. Pretty interesting.
@@ElaineSynthI didn’t try it but looks interesting
KOOL!😎... I need 2 try that w/ my WMD Axys controlling the FX inputs of Hector Poly & ZOIA! 🦋✨👽
Go for it. I bet that would be rad. So much fun to explore the possibilities.
Wonderful piece.
Wow. Thanks so much for listening. There’s so much more to explore.
Totally wonderful 😊
Thanks Probbie. I always appreciate your time.
I'm glad to hear spectraphone... here.. a very complex module. I had it, but I finally was not able to extract all of its potential..
I find it difficult to find a sweet spot myself. I should dig deeper into the settings for sure.
Verbos for life ♥️🙏❤️
Mad Verbos love.
